I know some people feel really defensive about her life, lifestyle, and silence but if she's going to use HK (or let's be real, all of east Asia) and her HK husband as a personality trait, it's only going to get more and more awkward for her to completely avoid talking about anything going on in the real world there. A lot of travel in and out of Asia is being disallowed. A friend who works in the Asian travel market said that 99% of their tours have been cancelled and Japan is now closing its ports.

They're very cute and pretty and high quality. To quote Taylor: "Everything is like a tiny little sculpture of happiness."

I wonder if she hired a translator/interpreter for this because Taylor keeps talking in English to the nail artist and the nail artist replies in standard Japanese which Taylor clearly doesn't understand everything from.

She did say at the end that they moved to their final AirBNB in Japan, so we'll see where they go after this.

Does she even need to address why she's somewhere else at this point... it's either a) she's doing things for her business or b) she's rich enough to go on holiday several times a year.

Like, it's okay, we know you're rich, either don't talk about it at all or just own it.

I watched the video and the nail tech is super talented and I love her work. But watching Taylor interact with her was SO AWKWARD. Not because of any language barrier, but because of Taylor's movements and overreacting to everything. She's constantly flailing her arms around and doing weird things with her hands and it makes her look obnoxious and childish. Girl, learn to keep your elbows in, you're going to smack someone.

I don't see why people are mad she is uploading a load of Japan videos though when it's common sense that they have been filmed over a short period of time and then the upload schedule has been stretched out lol.

About commenting on either coronavirus or the political situation in HK: The coronavirus might impact her daily interactions and so it is worth a comment, but beyond that, what is she gonna do? A public health warning? There are officials for that. As for the political stuff, I agree with people who say she's apolitical and shouldn't meddle. However, I also feel like commenting on the general situation from a neutral perspective might be interesting. I mean, you live in this city where thousands of people are protesting. It is odd to be so bubbled up.
