    • Official PULL Discord! (Updated)   01/14/19

Hi Everyone!  We've opened up an official discord. In order to join, you need to have posted at least 20 comments on PULL! This is to make sure we don't let in any flakes with ulterior motives. After joining, you will receive a DM with instructions on how to get verified! Also, your registration date needs to be earlier than December 2018 so that we don't get a ton of people signing up only to join the Discord but without actually contributing to PULL. Drop by and chat here: https://discord.gg/KDF2kt5 Also, we need to upgrade our server in the very near future. PULL grows bigger by the day (yay!) but  to handle the load, we need upgrades. For less than the cost of what you spend on Netflix, we can continue to host your content. Whether it's $1 or $5 a month, all gifts are appreciated. Please consider giving here: https://www.patreon.com/PULL We've also added a gofundme link: https://www.gofundme.com/PULLnet Thank you for your continued love and support!

I have noticed on Twitter that she is quite clueless about YouTube and is quite rude in her responses to people.  I am not sure why that is though

@Hui You are right about the assault statistic but Miranda said rape. There is no government record in history to support 25% of the female population being literally raped.  We can all agree that either am an assault or rape is bad, but there is a huge difference between forcibly having sex and beating a woman into sex, and harassment and stalking.  That statistic encompasses only assaults.  There is a separate, (and thankfully) much lower percentage of women raped in the US.  Not as low as zero but TONS better than 100,000,000 people a year!!

Tokyo creative was planning something but I'm not sure if they will or not.  It hasn't been formally announced so I wonder if they gave up.

Actually, it's all her sponsored stuff.  She's selling JER items she got for free.  They have all appeared in videos before.

@Risa. If they don't announce it before hand, then on the day you go the store will have signs telling you what's in there, or have a display showcasing what is in the bags.  Most of the time, you have to read the tags to know what's in them. You won't know the color or style though.  That's the only secret part.
The issue with jvloggers is that they pretend to know Japanese, but can't read their own tags.  I watched a few jvloggers open lucky bags, and most of them didn't know what they got.  Including osharegirl.  She kept looking at the tags confused, yet insists she understands Japanese in other videos.  The tags are in basic katakana or hiragana! It's not that hard to read.

If you watch the Japanese youtubers they actually know what they are getting cuz they can read Japanese (duh). But they are exciting to watch even if you don't know much Japanese.  Sasaki Asahi is my favorite Japanese YouTuber. She had cute reactions to everything she got.  Like, immediately putting on each item of clothing she received.

I think also the issue with the lucky bag thing is that no one knows enough Japanese to actually read and understand what they are buying.  All these jvloggers are so surprised like they just bought a mystery bag of unknown items from stores they hardly shop at.  Stores announce weeks ahead of time what will be in their bags, there isn't a single store that doesn't say what's in it.
I went to stores I frequently shop at and love what I got.  I also didn't spend more than $30 per bag.  One of them was even $10.  This year, the jvloggers did a huge disservice to the culture with their ignorance.

Maybe it's another one of those small cons trying to mooch off Yumi? That's what the last one was.

@Risa you're welcome! I hope you can enjoy their channels.  They try hard to provide content.

Americans have many options to come to Japan, it's not just JET.  JET is just the easiest . Most Americans are actually military, or tourists.  Students come next.  JET is pretty far down the list.
As far as being a jvlogger strictly or not in Japan. It would be pretty stupid of someone to quit their job, go to Japan, and hope to make a living strictly on YouTube. It takes years to gain a following.  Heck, even Sharla tried to do that but eventually needed to get a job.  It's quite inconsiderate to expect people to only have YouTube as their job when traveling to Japan for any reason.

Is she wanting me to believe she is there now? It's winter and everything is dead. There is zero chance there is greenery outside.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ3uThdfTsN33nnR34n11ng  This is Le chan.  She lives in Hokkaido
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeavbDncHoMLhTjIu-f-NDA  Some of you might know them already, they are Marshu and Rina. They recently got married.
https://www.youtube.com/talishaish She has twins and lives in Japan
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFSh6wInijpfaJXQZspN_nA He posts traveling videos around Japan and vlogs
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCItfuUvaLa0hSz7PewK4cuw They also post travel videos around Japan and vlogs

Most of them are JET.  A couple of them are not, but they all do have full time jobs.  So they don't post all the time.  Please be kind to them as they are tiny channels and I think only uploading so their friends and family can see what they do.

Anyway, let me know if the links don't work.  They should be ok.  If not, then just copy and paste it to the browser and see if that works.
