About commenting on either coronavirus or the political situation in HK: The coronavirus might impact her daily interactions and so it is worth a comment, but beyond that, what is she gonna do? A public health warning? There are officials for that. As for the political stuff, I agree with people who say she's apolitical and shouldn't meddle. However, I also feel like commenting on the general situation from a neutral perspective might be interesting. I mean, you live in this city where thousands of people are protesting. It is odd to be so bubbled up.

I feel those nails are something I would enjoy doing for a day and get sick of them later on.

I'm just a few minutes in, but this seems a very mature take on her personal situation without saying "This is what ALL of HK is doing and going through" unlike Simon and Martina's corona video the other day. People often call her out for not commenting on HK current events, so hopefully people dont hate on her now that shes actually doing it. She put a lot of data and disclaimers up front which i really appreciate.

I expected more of her life here under fear of virus rather than just stating the obvious.

All I'm getting out of this is that she's rich enough to lock herself up in her home for days on end without getting uncomfortable or running out of food.

And I don't like how she tried to make this a ~professional and informative~ video.

exactly, its not like people don't know what to do because its pretty much shoved down our throats all over the media. Though Im annoyed that people still do not wash their hands =.=

As someone said, this video just shows the rich lifestyle. The only thing is she might not be able to travel as easily but she is still traveling. If she gets it, she is going to have better care versus other regular citizens. I know people wanted her to bring it up and i was kind of against it for this reason. Now if this was a vlog and she did a quick taytalk about it, that would have been fine.

It was an okay video but definitely would have been better if just a regular vlog. She didn't need to do the research and have all these extra stock photo slides. It makes her videos feel very robotic. The virus has already spread to almost every continent so we are all looking towards our own news sources. She could have written all of that into an IG post. I will say that I'm happy she didn't mock it as she did with the typhoon.

In regards to comments, I think people wanted her to do what other vloggers were doing and showing empty streets, and how they had to gear up in masks and gloves to go shopping or be super dramatic, but really life is still being lived so I applaud her for remaining casual and not spreading fears.

I tried skimming through it and she slammed some fashion and taking ig pics in the middle of the video like? are you really mentally 15 forever, because, every time she tried to do something REMOTELY serious, she has to either make an ass of herself, or change the subject.

I skimmed it and it was basically history of the coronavirus,myths vs facts, how its affecting hong kong ext.

I actually like the video. The fact is even though this information is out there people are going crazy about this issue so I get why sh feels she had to speak up about it.

This may not be in order but she;

- Goes through the virus

- Goes over media exagerating

- goes over China wearing masks to both protect themself but more importantly protect others

- Goe's over the anime Akira about how it's interesting predicted this which is a huge coincidence

- Goes over medical precautions and how hongkong practiced good hygene immediatelt due to remembering SARS

- Mentions how toilet paper and cleaning produts were the first to go but food is still avliable

- Goes over surgical masks and minor science on them - shdoesn't acknowledge water droplets actually get into the eyes so wearing a mask doesn't protect

- Mentions how hongkong is reccomended to not wear masks but people outside of china aren't being reccomended yet

- Goes over not touching eyes etc here. And washing phone

- mentions a case where The draining pipes in hongkong infected

- Businesses and school are closed

- has to do taxes

- Goes over shops checking fevers before letting you in. Rather if they sence anything you get quarentined

- Mentioned it's every where not large businesses

- reccomendations of quarentee

- mentions house work and video making

- Cooking

- Goes over both online and irl racism (actually good section to be honest)

- Plead people for compassion for people suffering in china
