Of course she is short, she is fully SE Asian (not mixed aß she claims)
I myself just finally reached the 150cm mark. All my female family members reach from 149 to 153 cm....
My steph sister is 168cm... and next to us she is a giant, she actually hates her height bc the guys are tiny too lol

Even if I didn't knew her I would neuer assume her to be Korean... her make up almost screams "wannabe" and even without it she looks not hing like an Korean person. I actually first assumed her to be mixed white and chinese

I never noticed how truely bad her skin condition is!  And her eyes need some rest from those lenses too, every day is just too much. Look at those red blood shot eyes
I once envied her tall nose but in the close ups you can see the nose is unsetting, it doesn't fit her face. It's too strong/defined and big.
Don't get me started on these fake under eye bags..

Oh my god this is exactly how I looked when I first tried Korean BB (Anyone knows skin79 in green? This stuff is pale af!), to me this looks so ugly. A little fair skin in sense of no additional tanning might look nice sometimes but only if everything matches, this looks just rediculous! I hate that Koreans destroy their make up with too pale and pink shades, the make up in general is really good but the shade selection is awful.
Btw. anyone thinking of Lily Maymac when seeing these pics?
To her eyelid/eyebrow raising, she probably does that to get these super high ''Asian'' eyebrows
(I don't like this stereotypical look with really dark hair and transulent pale skin, no Asian person has it (well, maybe with some genetic defect like albinism but then hair is different too), even if an Asian person is super pale in comparison to others, we have a different undertone. But everyone desires pink undertones, but this skin combined with black hair would be so weird... like a corpse. IMO pale skin only looks good if the rest is on the lighter side too...)

Funny how they chose Asian net stars to promote this, since we are known to have the fastest hair growth
Imo Lily is more beautiful compared to this women but only bc she fulfills the Asian aesthetic more/looks more Asian, not because she looks half, she doesn't look a slightly bit like she is mixed white. The women fits more the western standart I assume? I thought she was fully Caucasian lol

Wait, whitening? The cliche that we are balck haired but pale white skinned needs to stop (not against you but so many ppl fetishizing us claim they love our shiny black hair but light skin... uhm I am Viet and I go out in the sun quite often, I am not ''white''  )
I always wonder why ppl think brightening theimselve up makes them more Asian? I know, Koreans are often lighter than we SE Asians are but now where white... if this would be the case bleaching cremes wouldn't be so popular. Idk it's a weird stereotype that fits rather Irish people (I heard some Irish ppl have naturally almost black hair while being pale, is this true? o.o)

This hairstyle can really help you if you have the right face. I usually keep my hair like this too bc I have a very wide but short looking faces with a short forehead, so this hairstyle is perfect since it gives the illusion of a slimmer face and the forehead looks a bit longer in comparison. (I think the best look though is when one side is covered with hair like this and on the other side the hair is pulleded back behind the ear.)
However Dakota already has a more narrow/elongated face and a huge forehead, that is why bangs where the best for her (not full straight ones but the side swept bangs lookes really nice). She is living in Japan and seems like she is also only around Japanese people and not many other foreigners, so I can understand her following their trends. But she has to keep in mind her own features, she could look so beautiful if she just would follow the right hairstyle/make up etc. fitting her actual features.
Besides that, I wish she had somebody who'd help her with her everyday pictures, she would look so great if she would provide some sharp looking high quality pictures, this would be so pleasing to look at since she is not an ugly girl, she also has clear skin etc. so there is no major editing needed. I will include pictures to show what I mean. To be fair these are all Korean women, so in real life they should have quite similar looks.

These are the typical ''Ulzzang'' edits, this look is somehow quite popular. (While looking at the pic of the first woman one sentence comes in my mind. I believe it was one Big Bangs member who was shown pictures of girls edited like this and he said: ''Oh it's so sad that she has no nose. Someone give her a nose.''  )

While these are natural looking girls, there is photoshop involved too but not to make them look like different people. These girls might not be completely the Korean (more K-Pop) Ideal but still pretty in their own way and seriously, which photographs are more pleasing to look at?
I wish Dakota would post pictures like this, but the generic bad editing hurts my eyes, that's why most Intagram personas are not interesting to me.

From some shoops I thought she was an actual Korean (bc many on IG shopp themselves to look exactly like this), but in some pictures she looked nothing like an East Asian person. I guessed she might be SE/half SE Asian or hispanic, bc you cannot generalize SE Asians, some look typically like you would imagine and some look more Caucasian/could pass as hispanic/latin. I also think she might have some indigenous genes bc many of them could pass as Asian (flatter nose/brow bone, strong jaw and cheek bones, smal eyes -some even with epicathic folds- etc.), she must know this and thought that she would get away with it. But she was dumb to pretend to be Korean, that was too obvious.
I don't understand it, why pretending to be Asian when you have an interesting background on your own? I personally find people that are idigenous very interesting and pretty, also they have a great culture.. I don't understand... She prob. is not fully of native indigenous descent but she is an interesting mix, I can understand that she might have troubles with how to identify bc she doesn't fit the typical sheme, but she is unique and just her own, she should accept this and find her own thing that makes her stand out.
As of now I wouldn't judge her too bad or say she is gross, but I hope she will realize this before she ruins everything/brings everyone against her.
(But having a shitty boyfriend like this isn't going to help her, he is even more bad.)

Lily looks so tiny compared to thsi women
The intwerview was hella boring, well I like her pictures but not rlly her personality, she is quite boring  But it's not like I expected an outgoing funny and edgy girl... she seems rather reserved and quite, but how I said, I expected her to be so.
And did she dye her hair again? It looks so much darker than in her pictures

^But Dakota has to realize that not every make up trend in japan works for her own face.

Maybe she feel pressure bc a lot of Japanese ppl would assume her to have a small face just bc she is a foreigner  (Actually her HEAD is small but her face looks big, when you compare her head to the japanese ppl around her on tv shows and such, it's definetly smaller.)
Japanese (and most other E Asians) generally like small faces and somehow expect foreigners to have them (many think that we have shorter faces but we actually have the bigger heads/faces but they are wider so they seem shorter-hope this makes sense), and the standarts we have for ourselves thanks to the media etc. are very high, but for foreigners the standarts are even higher and I am pretty sure it's the same for Japanese ppl. However she doesn't fulfill all high standarts so she shoops herself into a caricature of herself, and sadly her Japanese fans like this.. ugh.
Don't understand the forehead thing though, never met any Asian person liking big foreheads.. but on the internet it seems to be a admired feature...
Another thing: I honestly never understood how Popteen could have chosen her as a model. The magazine is aimed to the Japanese youth and gives tips on how to create special make up/hairstyles/fashion styles etc. for them to do. So why did they chose a Caucasian model that Japanese can't relate to? They don't have the same hair, eye shape, face shape, body etc. so all tutorials she could do would be senseless. Also as inspiration it was pointless since Japanese ppl could never look like her (not that this is bad)... but well, that's probably why they dumbed her.
