Notice for New Members on Moderator Approval (August 2017)

Due to the spam attack that happened earlier in August, we have started making it mandatory for each new member’s first post to be approved by a moderator.

This is also to help prevent trolls and wk's from spamming threads.

This approval process could take minutes to a day, due to the mod team currently being short-staffed.

Please be patient when waiting for your post to get approved, we will try to get to it as soon as possible. If a few days have passed and your post hasn't been approved yet, feel free to message one of the mods. The post may have accidentally gotten lost in the list of stuff that has to be approved.

None of this applies to members who have already posted.

Things to Keep in Mind When Making Your First Post

• We'd prefer you make your first post an actual post, not a new topic. If you've lurked a while and understand the site and decide to go ahead and make a topic anyway: you must provide information about the online personality and their social media links. If you are talking about a group of people (ex. k-vloggers, beauty vloggers, etc.) , you must provide examples and relevant information on them. Any topic that does not follow these rules, is a vendetta, or an obvious self-post will be declined.
• If you want to discuss an online personality, please post it in the Online Personalities forum and not the Snowflakes forum. If the person ends up being snowflake-y enough and becomes a popular thread, it can later be moved to the Snowflakes forum.
• Do not self-advertise.
• Free speech is important here and everyone should have a chance to state what they think of a snowflake, whether they like them or not. However, posts aggressively white-knighting a snowflake will be declined.
• Try to make your posts meaningful. Don't bump old topics unless you have something interesting/relevant to say.
