At this point I'd rather support fucking lime crime than Jeffree.

I've had a handful of his products pallettes, lipgloss , highlighter and liquid lipstick. Other than the liquid lipstick everything else is a garbage product. Eyeshadow/highlighter is chalky and the lipgloss is super sticky, I threw out my entire "collection" and haven't bothered since. Wanted to be like the cool kids with makeup but couldn't even get anything to work. 😂

Same. Thing like this make me actually happy to live a place where it's harder to get his stuff. Like there is shipping and then customs on that, plus the wait time and the possibility of something arriving broken, inability to first see the product in person and swatch it - it sucks a lot when you want some product, but it saves a lot of money in the long term and prevented me from buying cosmetics from a person I don't want to support.

The thing with Jeffree Star cosmetics is that he is both the name and face of the brand. Other founders or CEOs aren't usually the face of the brand so their personal faults aren't as important. Like, buying from the company does not necessarily mean that you support the person and most people won't associate that person and their deed with the company.

But with Jeffree Star everything is right in your face. If you use his cosmetics it automatically means that you support him or that you just don't give a fuck about anything he does and you can forgive him. His cosmetics line is obviously associated with him and it feels like merch, not actual makeup.

FWIW it's been easier for me personally to support LC ever since Doe Deere stepped down as CEO 2 years ago. Can't say much for their lip products (I have like 2-3 lipglosses from them that are fine) but I have 0 complaints with the 2 eyeshadow palettes I bought from them in the last year or so.

In retrospect, it's funny to me that when Jeffree first launched his makeup brand in 2014 that he talked mad shit about Lime Crime and Doe Deere specifically because the two of them both have a history of racism and nazism. Yet now LC is significantly less controversial than when it was popular, and now JSC is the epitome of controversy lol.

Trisha is Trisha’s worst enemy... even if Jeffery Star does have dirt on her she would just expose herself of something even crazier than whatever Jeffery exposed her for so she could be in control of the situation.
Honestly I think she’s being genuine in standing up for him, which I don’t really know how to feel about. On one hand she’s standing up for a friend but on the other both of them are extremely problematic people who get a kick out of stirring shit up. Still I have no doubts that Trisha and Jeffery Star’s interactions, even behind the scenes, is positive. At the very least I think they tolerate each other.

Jeffree just uploaded an IG story where he talks about the various allegations against him. He first talked about lipstick nazi and claimed that when he created it the word Nazi was a slang term meaning to be obsessed with something. He said that the page wasn't for a makeup brand but an ad for a live journal page he was going to make and the title was meant to mean he was obsessed with lipstick and makeup. He said he thinks it was disgusting and he should've never used it in the first place and apologized. He then went on to address the videos people have made (Tab and Kam). He refers to them as acquaintances and not real friends. He stated that he barely knew them and what they're saying is fake for attention and he doesn't feel like it's worth his time to address. He then mentioned Trisha stating that they're super close and had a good time in Vegas. He claimed that he doesn't make fun of or talk badly about his friends and said he's done with drama because that's something the old Jeffree would care about. He also said something about not letting his past define him or distract him from his goals.

Oh god I had a feeling this was going to happen... just because we all know how J* takes anything down that has damning evidence of him being a scumbag. I've been lurking lately, watching Liam Mcevoy's Instagram stories (@looks.by.liam) and apparently J*'s lawyer is on him? Along with the two videos about J* being copyright striked for material that isn't even copyright. Liam goes over it more in depth on his story, showing that the "content used" was "image of Jeffree Star in pool" and "video of Jeffree Star with watering can"
