If the rumours are true and the user DrApeis as well as his co-dev are alters of other people, it is highly possible most of Lovesick was made a long time ago and 'We made all of this in 2 weeks!' is just part of their act and to hide their true identities. If the words by Narwhal and the ex-Lovesick mods are true, they want to make everyone surprised regarding their true identities and it's highly possible they are ex-volunteers or ex-fangame devs or something.

So apparently it must be two people who worked on stuff before, hence Lovesick uses a lot of coding and assets that were from old projects. It's possible he is a student and doesn't have as much free time as he makes it seem.

I don't really care if LoveSick fails or succeeds at this point. If it annoys YanDev and makes people finally open their eyes about him, then I support it.

YanDev deserves all this hate. He truly is the scum of the earth. Some people have resorted to calling him Alex instead of YanDev because he isn't really developing anything at this point. He's just sitting in front of his computer monitor and typing out essays about himself.

Drapeis is back on the LS discord. For real though, drapeis needs to stfu and not engage in his discord because every time he says anything on there it is just going to bite him in the ass. He should be putting more effort on working on his game than on petty discord drama.

He's not convincing anyone but those under the age of 14 and even some of them are finally starting to see the light. I feel like if he does drop Osana, people are going to be "wait, that's it? That's what we paid for and waited on?" then his numbers will drop and of course he'll blame all the drama prior to why people lost interest in him and his "game".

I don't think Alex cares about Samus' personality or backstory at all. Zero Suit Samus has been one of the first really sexy popular nintendo girls. If you search for any other girl in the main nintendo games, they'll most likely be rather cute or pretty, but not be wearing an outright sexy costume like Samus. That many people thought she was a guy and then she was revealed to be a hot blonde sexy lady also added to many perverts being into her. I don't think he really cares about the personality.

If there had been a Zelda 10 years ago in an outfit as revealing as the Zero suit, then that would be his waifu. He just wants a blonde bimbo just as Foxtrottle said.

Samus was just the only nintendo girl that people lusted over for a long while since nintendo doesn't have that many sexy women in their big games. In fact there are many people lusting for her. Considering her backstory and that even official sources mistook her for a man at first there is a lot more about Samus. From being a very strong independant woman, aka the opposite what Alex wants, to her actually being a trans woman. But this is stuff most of the perverts ignore and Alex is just one of them.

That she's in Smash made her even more popular when it comes to hentai because you don't really have to play the metroid games to take screenshots midgame in which she looks like moaning.

When it comes to Samus and her creepy fans it's really not that deep.

Ironically his die-hard fans are indeed saying they don't care about it and they'd even wait 10 more years for Yansim to be released. It's kind of weird how the game of an incel guy who pretends to code and steals assets has attracted such an obsessive fanbase. They will forgive him anything.

It would also explain the quick development of Lovesick since lots of stuff from Watashi no mono can be reused. There would be no problem using assets and code if Epicmeal Dev is actually part of Lovesick himself and even stuff made by the volunteers can possibly be reused if he got the permission.

Meanwhile, Alex writes paragraphs on his debunk page:

How can you type out this explaination that 'Midori respresents the type of person who doesn't read the FAQ before asking a question' and explain that it's a running gag that 'Yandev kills Midori' and conclude it with 'not this doesn't visualisise that I kill my fans (who I find annoying)'. What?

'This has nothing to do with how I feel about my audience.' Why represent Midori as your 'annoying' fans then? If anything the way you explained it means it represents you have anger issues against the fans that aren't acting like submissive sheeps and by asking your artist to draw you killing off Midori you want to let off steam.

The fact you told people to kill themselves on stream, said stuff like 'the world would be a better place without (person you disliked)' and that kind of things makes it pretty clear that you have a mentality that you want people to straight up die if they annoy you. Even if these things are said on impulse, these Midori pics aren't different from it.

People aren't so dumb that they will believe this really has nothing to do with your feelings towards your audience.

If that was a case, use a different character. But you aren't. And we know why it is.

Let's be real though. Nobody is honestly going to wait 10 years for YanSim to be finished, let alone the first rival. What'll most likely happen(and already has happened) is fans will grow up and forget about it, until they suddenly hear the name again several years later. In the comments section of a lot of videos speaking about the drama you'll find people saying that they completely forgot about YanSim until a video talking about the drama popped up on their sidebar. A lot of these people have graduated college, gotten married, got their dream job, had kids, moved to another country, etc. in the time that it's taken him to make the tutorial rival.
