Because the American judicial system is a load of horseshit. Plus, Greg’s case has a lot “grey area”. Like, we know he’s guilty as shit but what he’s done in the eye of the law is walking the line of legal/illegal. Law doesn’t care about what’s moral, just what’s written in the books as of right now. They need hard evidence and unfortunately a lot of what’s been said is circumstantial and conjecture. We just need to hope that whatever was on the laptop Sarah has from Kai has something concrete on it.

I'm not so sure about that. By the line of questioning from Chris Hansen, it seems pretty clear that he as well as the FBI, know a lot more than they're saying publically and they're just holding their cards close.

He's been heavily implying for some time now that

1. Onision is running what can be legally considered a cult

2. Onision and Kai are distributing child porn

and the fact that he hasn't actually stated this outright seems to be a sign that they found something new on the matter. If there was no tea to be had, he wouldn't keep mentioning it, especially when the internet has been more focused on the grooming and abuse.

A case like Onisions will take time due to the FBI or whoever wanting to catch him and the need to be patient to gather ALL the evidence, so their case is airtight and Onion boys defence lawyer can’t BS the judge and find loopholes. I will say it is probably hard to prosecute a case like this as there’s not going to be hard evidence.

I know it's frustrating that the FBI are taking a while to get their evidence together but they need their case to be tight and full of evidence that will be good to present to a judge and jury. Any loopholes or any evidence missed will make a big massive impact if Greg gets charged or not.

Super good point. Hansen has often brought up the cult aspect and I think a lot of us gloss over it or ignore it (which makes sense, considering that's not what most of us focus on when we talk about Greg). I honestly would not be surprised if the FBI comes out within the year and nails him with huge charges on things that we weren't even aware of.

Also, there have been a lot of dark web busts over the past few years (drug markets, huge child pornography sites) and they'll let them operate for a while and then make huge arrests out of nowhere. If the FBI is truly investigating Greg then I wouldn't be surprised if everything happened at once.

As others have said, yes, it seems like the FBI is taking forever, but there’s a reason why the federal conviction rate is so high. The fact that they’re taking so long is actually a good thing; it means that they likely have a lot of evidence. Cases involving cp can result in thousands upon thousands of pieces of evidence that all need to be individually documented, properly handled, and analyzed by people who are cleared to work specifically with this type of material. It could take some time, but good things come to those who wait. Except for Glurg and Kai. They can suck it.

If anyone needs evidence that Onision isn't some brilliant person, all they need to do is look at this. This doesn't come off as "insanity" or intelligent banter. This comes off as the words of a pathetic manchild who cannot handle it when he does not hold power over others and so he takes advantage of vulnerable girls and transfolk to make his dick feel bigger. He took the time to add punctuation. He took the time to capitalize letters. There's no spelling errors. He probably wrote this on a computer. But his arguments make no sense and neither do his attempts at clever insults.

It really breaks my heart to see more victims come out with their stories. It is brave but it's hard to see that Greg and Kai have been doing this to so many people for way to long.
