Even though I don't like her, I don't think she's a bitch through and through. Girls like her - the ones that I've met in my life - create an untouchable, bitchy persona to be accepted. One of my friend who is obviously a social climber is actually very sweet when it's just the two of us, but once we hang out with richer, more popular people, she turns into an arrogant ass-licker lol. You can see it in her social media too, posting with branded luxurious items, gifts from her circle of "popular" friends. It's pretty sad to see how different she is.

I don't know Jennie, but based on the things that I've read here and her Instagram posts, I think she's similar to my friend. Kinda reminds me of a quote from "Whild Child", you're not an asshole, but you act like one. lol.

I believe Lisa's dance and stage presence regressed because YG kept them in a dungeon for so long she does not have the chances to strengthen her skills and muscles, and because Blackpink started to have dirt easy choreography.

Twice is a group that starts out being unable to dance but they have so many comebacks within a year and received a lot of criticism that they vastly improved their dance abilities and stage presence

I hate to say this but Twice also has JYP. I still don't get why anyone would want to work udner YG knowing how shady they are? YG makes even SM innocent and they are sooo far from that...*gazes sadly into the TVXQ void*...Ahem back on topic sorry.

But honestly YG doesn't work his female groups as hard as JYP does, and I think there lies the problem. JYP is considered a perfectionist and YG is just a scum lord.

I've been reading this topic for a while and wanted to join the discussion because I'm curious about what you guys think. Sorry if this was talked before. Some of you mentioned about BP's plastic surgeries? in this video when BP went on the JYP show, they listed "Cosmetic Surgeries" as one of the things YG "prohibits" them from doing. I thought it was weird that they said about that so confidently...

I was a BlackPink fan and I still am.... i think.... I'm not sure about them these days. I even bought their albums before, but I feel very distant from them as a fan now. I became a fan because of their music, and they are releasing everything but music, unfortunately. And also, their stage energy and presence isn't very good now compared to their debut.

I think there is some truth behind their statement but also not really. I think it's a common rule that Idols can't get work done unless they go through the company first, so they don't ruin the look that they marketed them as, but Lisa definitely got a nose job predebut, in my opinion. So, YG obviously asked for it if it's true.

I contacted a few staff members to request a name change!

It may just be me, but why do disabled people get special treatment in articles? Lisa cried when she saw someone who was visually impaired at her concert. Visually impaired, completely blind, or not- all fans should be treated the same. How is that visually impaired fan any more important than the others and how are they inspirational? Most people LISTEN to music not see it. This is how I knew kpop changed into something visual based. Disabled people are capable of cursing, laughing, fighting, dancing, stalking, walking, etc like the rest of us. If you really think about it, why would you cry? Because they’re unfortunate to you? Seems mean to think that way. Your fans came for you, not for you to flip it around and make the day about them. Lots of disabled people take advantage of that and play the victim card when really, they’ve been like that most of their life and other disabled people don’t like the treatment and think it’s weird and embarrassing. People need to stop treating disabled people like they can’t do anything wrong or they’re babies who don’t know how to do anything. With the girl in the wheelchair, she’s a fan like others and Jennie should be sweet for giving her pin to anybody. Not just a disabled person or fan. You should be praised for giving to all people, not just ones you subconsciously think you’re better than. I hate when people use disabled people as a trophy to get on people’s good side. Visually impaired people can’t be inspirational to anyone but other visually impaired people. Same goes for any other circumstance. I saw a man with no limbs painting with his mouth. It was shocking and amazing to me but not inspirational. He’s not pushing me to try new things without my limbs because I have all of them. It may be a talent for me to paint with my mouth but his situation is something that (I hope) will never happen to me so I can’t 100% look up to him.

I’m not blaming Lisa or Jennie or the article writers. I’m just saying, your ignorance can make you lose sight of what really going on and who people really are. You can’t cry over every obviously disabled person you see. Even if you could, they wouldn’t cry over you because you’re deemed as “normal”. You should view people based on their thoughts and personalities and not the outside. Some people’s disabilities aren’t shown (diseases, mental illnesses,etc) but do you see anyone calling them inspirational for basically being seen in public?

I'm guessing it's Irene and Nayeon. Since they are both "It-girls" in Korea. Maybe Lisa as well. But Jennie has always be seen networking with different A-List celebrities, being "invited" to exclusive parties, and then that interaction being mediaplayed as friends.

Probably because she gets more recognition for just appearing somewhere rather than singing and dancing. When she was in music videos as a trainee, people thought she was so beautiful. Her appearance gives me actress/ ordinary girl vibes rather than professional model or idol.

I think this has more to do with the fact that she has those "cookie cutter" visuals, as I like the call them, which makes her great actress material for Korean beauty standards. That, coupled with the fact that you don't need actual acting skills to make it big in the acting scene in South Korea and you have your answer. Also, I just watched some of her work (which isn't much so my judgement will be limited) but from what I have seen.... she has a couple of lines with Sandara and both are... well, let me just say that I felt like I was watching two people speak lines they had just learned to memorize. It wasn't good, however, it was too little for me to say that she is a truly bad actress.
