"Monsters breed monsters" are you serious? You are you, not your parents... Sure a relationship like this one will give you issue, but nothing is set in stone forever.

Did you read all my post or only the first part? I said that Venus can still change. And if you still think children that live in abusive environments will turn out okay all the time, then you're wrong. Marg was also a kid once. She turned into what she is, because of her parents that abandoned her. No one turns into this kind of person for no real reason. Of course Venus' abusive life effected her in some way, we just don't know how much yet. Venus probably doesn't know how much herself yet.

That's why i believe that if you want to be a parent you need a license to be one. >.< not all people are capable of being decent parents. Not someone like Marg, obviously.

Children who live in normal, caring environments turn out to be shit people sometimes too though. It's too broad and varied of a factor to use it as an example. Yes, the risk is a bit higher...but to be honest, personally I feel like I turned out to be a better person because of the awful shit my mom did. It's all up to the person dealing with it to work out their feelings about it and make a better life than what they were given.

That's what you tell to yourself to feel better about your life, I can understand that. I still would've preferred a good life rather than an abusive one.
