   thelineup, julia focuses on streetwear & lifestyle, focuses on sustainability & thrifting, created her own brand using deadstock fabrics from higher end fashion brands and works directly with the workers making her line, super cool editing

   omg this thread opened my eyes about jasmine's bad behavior and repeated tracing, most of us from the bd thread are hoping over the the gg discord, you can request a channel for jasmine if you wanna move over there! it's been great discussing her faults and holding her somewhat accountable for being a shitty student, it was fun spending time on here!

   i read in the announcement forum that nyx will keep the domain and shadow said that this site (and most of threads) are archived on wayback machine! honestly, ive been lurking here since newleaf made the thread and i'm so so sad that we can't discuss influencers on here anymore bc genuinely pull is pretty fair and there's not a lot of in-fighting like there is on gg/kf/lc. i really enjoyed spending some of my quarantine time on here with you all and we could totally make a discord/groupme/ hell even be in a twitter gc. you all are honestly very smart and thoughtful people and best bet is to head to gg discord, stay away from lsa and probably reddit as users there are really uh, offputting. my dms will be open on here still from when the site closes if anyone wants to invite me to a new site to discuss bd/ks!!
   edit: ASHLEY, get some therapy, stop fucking white men, get some friends and stay OFF the internet when you're done with youtube. don't think because pull is going down people magically won't stop critiquing you, grow up, stop policing comments. consider getting actual women of color as friends too since you wanna keep stealing ideas from other creators. blm isn't a trend and you should know that by now. hopefully you'll actually be a better person in the future.

   oh.. i really feel like it doesn't look good at all, like um, her top lip has some interesting textural things going on. i dont follow anyone who routinely gets touch ups w fillers a lot, but maybe she should have gone to the same person corinna kopf goes to for her routine forehead/lip fillers. idk where she's located but she could have gone anywhere to get some light plumping on her top/bottom lip to make them even, i feel bad for her bc i know she wants to look like an irl bratz doll but it's doesnt look the best it could have been. i'm not anti-plastic surgery at all, by all means, if you got the money why not! i think she def should have shopped around bc there are so many better licensed ppl/drs that post their work on ig and most of them do very symmetrical work.

   ^ same here, tried to watch the lipfiller gone wrong video and i absolutely hate how she's been editing the recent couple of videos. her vids dont seem to garner as many views as some of more viral ones, i think even her audience is losing interest at this point.

   ok where do her and other influencers get off on claiming that "oh it's SO HARD to be sUsTaInAbLe" and "yOu cAn NEVER bE fully 100% sUsTAiNaBlE!!!!!!!!!" sustainability ties heavilty into ethical consumerism (it's hard trust me i really try to recycle,thrift and reduce waste but as a poor person it's so fucking hard the systems put in place are always going to favor the rich instead of the working classes anyway), just like kylie j. not paying her workers in bangladesh fair wages or even reformation's blatant racism towards black employees. everything we do regarding purchasing clothes, food and other products are deeply intertwined with capitalism, racism, environmentalism, etc. so for her just to slap a blase rich person statement and refuse to actually work on being sustainable, is kind of uncalled for, it's just plain rude and misguided. people who are rich and middle class can actually AFFORD to be sustainable, kelly's subs could be in the ranges of working class to even possibly 1%ers, her sending a message that people should at the very least, learn about sustainable clothing/farming/purchasing would open so many doors and windows for some people trying to get into the subject or even learn about it! she's a smart woman, i'm sure of that. which leads into my next recurring issue with her channel as a whole!
   
   re:minimalism
   so i had a middle class friend in uni who didnt really have too many wordly possessions, but he got sober, had an internal revelation with his life and decided to be a minimalist. he got rid of mostly everything except for his bed, some of his favorite clothes, one piece of furniture and his laptop. he got rid of his car, a bunch of school supplies, all of his "Extra" things were able to be packed up and sent back to his family's five bedroom home that has a lake side view. so what does this have to with miss stamps? well, from the screenshots provided earlier in the thread she doesn't seem to be fully dedicated to actual minimalism. her plaque's there, other memorabilia, her table, and a good portion of clothes/accessories/storage things that could be seen as clutter to other people who practice minimalism. some extreme people get rid of absolutely everything they don't need, so no furniture, no excessive beauty/cleaning routines, no washer/dryer, hell one person even got rid of their bed and uses a hammock. does spending $14 on tiramisu and however much money she spends at muji sound like a minimalist? personally, i dont think so. people who are making a fair to really good amount of income (esp from online work) can totally, if not completely, can afford to be a minimalist and properly invest in items that are ethically, sustainably and organically sourced. those items will be expensive yes, but the product cost gets reinvested into so many more outlets than purchasing cheaper or "faster" products do as those ones only line the pockets of ceos/admin staff.
   i do appreciate her being upfront about a lot things regarding her lifestyle, expenses and her personality, but for her just to mock and be rude to a supporter who questioned her stance on sustainability is unwarranted and VERY telling of her personality off camera. i get her being older and not wanting to change her ways, but i feel like she could be open minded and learn to not attack people who question her ethics.

    watched the first couple seconds of her reviewing rbk's pur palette collab and um!?!? did she get more fillers or are her lips contoured weirdly, coupled with her having no eye makeup on just makes her face look competently different from her ig/tiktok/twitter faces. also love the look above, but whatever's going on with her neck should have been fixed in ft/ps. i honestly wish she could have just stayed on the remote side of tumblr and never got a taste of internet fame, she's just...... in the nicest way possible, undeserving of attention and annoying.

    that mantis tatt's design isnt awful but holy shit did her shop like not teach her to shade/work longer to make a simple tatt like that look good/presentable on anyone a shade darker than jasmine herself holy shit. like @jaschaitea said, it looks faded as hell and no where near fresh at all. i haven't really been keeping up with her since i unsubbed awhile ago, but i wonder if she'll get her shit together for her 3rd year, it honestly feels like she hasn't changed or been motivated regarding school at all. i get wanting to pursue something that fully utilizes your abilities, but one of the tattoo artists i love (scabslut), didn't go to uni but has a background in art/making nsfw designs and pursued her apprenticeship, she still struggles rn bc of covid but you can actually see the progress of her art when you compare it to her pre-tattoo experience. where as jasmine, hasn't really developed a solid style, and i feel like that's what really pulls clients, most people fiending for a tatt rn will explore ig/fb endlessly looking for an artist that 1) catches their eye, 2) has a good, diverse portfolio and track record w shops/clients and 3) puts sanitary practices above all else. if i was shopping around ny boroughs for an artist, i sure as hell wouldnt wanna get anything done by her.

    agree w a lot that's being said already, but i completely missed that dumbass quote "fashion has no meaning now" um?? if anything fashion (and design) is one of several artistic explorations/endeavors that very much matter rn despite the us being in literal shambles. i know another user mentioned she could have made some resuable face masks for her and whatever ppl she knows in her personal life and that user kinda got dogged on. im gonna bring back that point bc even though ashley states her sewing skills are amateur at best, she very well could have sewed together some masks for protesters, homeless people, even donate them to women's shelters or to other essential workers. ashley has so many ways (a lot more than most of us do! i can't sew for shit) she could be supporting and uplifting black voices, protesters, essential workers, even other women with her money, resources, and im not sure if organizations are accepting donations of clothes but she could very well clothe so many women in need just from her thrifted/cheaper wardrobe. tons of people rn are still quarantining, some are still out of work, the internet is being used as an escape now more than ever, on twitter a bunch of women are learning how to install wigs/lashes, doing their own acrylics, designing and reworking their own clothes from hand-me-downs, learning to cook and a bunch of other cool and interesting skills. ashley has such a huge fucking platform and it still boils my blood that she flat out refuses to acknowledge and utilize it properly. the better ashley (ur mom ashley), still posts occasional resources daily in addition to her regular daily life posts, why can't miss bestdressed realize she very well could make a difference (big or small) with the millions of fans/subs she has?

    oh holy shit thanks for quoting me @RemyTheRat! i wanted to amend my initial statement about kennedy, i said that she was bratty but i believe when she got boosted by the algorithm she was like what? 17 or 18 years old? i think she's 20/21 rn and it was more like she was just unmotivated due to her separation from her family as well as whatever mh issues she has going on, when you're a teen/ya life just seems like it's passing you by. coupled with the fact she stated her hometown friends all moved out and went to uni (she didn't), i guess her attitude just seemed ungrateful bc she was making hella money and all she had to do was sit in her mom's room, put on makeup/wigs/clothes and call it a day. i think she's in a better place rn, it also seems like claudia moved in the same apartment complex so she won't be too far from kennedy. i always forget this thread exists bc her gg thread is more active, but yea, i unsubbed awhile ago, her content is boring and i wanna support other creators of color instead!
