i just went on her instagram and apparently the answer to ''what happens when water freezes'' is ''summer is over'' and it comes from the Fruit basket anime (not sure if it's true caus I never watched furuba).
Dude wtf with that thumbnail, looks like she just dragged some transparent images over a video frame, like some video assignment people do in high school, is her degree really interactive media design? (whatever that thing's meant to be)
Well that was 10 min of my life wasted... Why does the director have to pick Mei? other than pure aesthetic reasons i just don't see why, and according to the previous pages at least one of the other girls seems to have actual acting experience, so why mix some amateur in and fly her across the globe for this? If he wanted a girl with the pink aesthetic that badly he would just pick some pretty girl from an audition and give her a pink front lace wig. i don't understand anything about the movie or the purpose, in some of the scenes the background noises were too loud it became hard to even understand what they were saying, looks like the kind of thing produced by some edgy film student, nothing special, just pretty faces and random deep lines.
Seriously why do people even bother watching her shit nowadays? Sure her videos don't have that much views compared to her subs number but there's absolutely nothing interesting about them and the editing's crap. It's fine if Yumi doesn't want to do sewing videos but at least she could generate more creative ideas for vlogs, like actually going to cute cafes or showing herself visiting chinatown if she likes her culture that much. She moved across a state but hardly goes out except to eat at cheap buffets or go to grocery stores. Like if you are so out of ideas you gotta film yourself cleaning a fucking toilet you should really do more interesting things. Many other youtubers with around the same number of views (5 number figures) consider youtube as a full time job and actually put effort into their contents and editing.
Yumi uploaded a video like 2 days earlier of her eating greasy wedding food, and now a weight loss video?? (and she pretends she isn't trying to lose weight, milking youtube money with clickbait ?) Not saying that she has a eating disorder but she definitely has screwed habits when it comes to food, maybe that's why her cheeks look bloated as hell.
Yeah conceptually they look good and because she's conventionally attractive and skinny she can pull it off, like the really small top+ the flowers would look good for a shoot or a music festival but it's the kind of thing that might get you arrested for indecent exposure especially if you have big boobs. Mei wore some weird stuff like fuzzy pink grandma slippers in the past but it has really gotten over the top recently. Just because a clothing piece is flashy doesn't mean it's good or suits her.
Am I the only one who thinks her fashion sense has gotten bad recently? I was watching her latest japan hauls/lookbooks and most of the items weren't particularly interesting, plus she always wore the same colour for the bottom and the top. Tokyo is pretty famous for alternative fashion and there was so much interesting stuff she could have picked just by shopping in thrift stores (like seriously the black shirt with embroidery looks like something most old Asian ladies have in their closet, even my grandma has one)
hey guys look at what popped up in my facebook news feed, I can't believe they are actually selling this shit for 44 CAD it's another of these overpriced taobao resellers, they have only about 3 likes per Facebook post, no wonder they got desperate and sponsored corn king.
the very proof that her fans just have nothing to do with their lives. Why even white knight when it's a constructive comment that's not rude at all? just because it's Yumi's choice doesn't mean it suits her. There's a difference between supporting someone's choices and letting them embarass themselves on a daily basis
