it's weird how she says she tried to get into lolita fashion when she was 16 but didn't caus of the community. Now it's more understandable since she got a promotion but there's no way she could save for Japan+ pay rent to her mom+ pay for nose surgery and at the same time afford lolita fashion with just a minimum job while being a student. Even if she bought secondhand or from indie brands that's just not realistic, she definitely got money from some outside sources
I thought her fashion sense improved since her outfits were less clashing than before and then I got to the one with the black sweater and i was like NOPE. She goes to bunka and can barely put out a coherent harajuku inspired look, just because harajuku fashion is over the top doesn't mean you can put anything together and expect it to look good
For someone whose entire career basically rests on her insta (caus let's face it homegirl isn't gonna make it in fashion otherwise unless she makes a dramatic improvement) she really lacks professionalism. Like why would you make a long ass rant on the same instagram you use for sponsorships when you could just make a personal account, almost reminds me of gothfruit.
What she's doing is closer to enjo kosai than actual tutoring lol, there's a reason the grand majority of her clients are old men, I mean who else would pay 5000 yen an hour to someone who has barely any prior experience and has never been in higher education when there are better tutors there who charge cheaper.
Unpopular opinion but I don't think it should be removed neither, she was well aware of what she was doing when she put herself out there and didn't even bother coming up with a new username. Plus it's just an underwear pic tbh and her face isn't even on it, you are all acting like it will ruin her life or something when it's just page 92 of some gossip forum, it's not like anyone from her fashion school would bother reading this entire thread and report it to the school (and since it's fashion school they probably don't care anyway) . Even in the rare event that someone did it she could argue it's someone impersonating her since her face isn't even in the pic.
The problem is not her dressing ''childish'' but randomly putting together things that clash and frequently dressing in school uniforms and bags only meant for school kids, which is really weeby. Yes it's possible to find Japanese girls who dress in Liz Lisa or Ank Rouge which a lot of people deem ''childish'' but both brands are intended for a teenage/young adult audience and people who wear them usually have outfits with a coherent theme and a limited color palette. She is allowed to enjoy pastel/kawaii fashion even though it doesn't really suit her face, but the problem is that her style does not fit into any Japanese fashion subculture like himekaji/otona kawaii/yami kawaii/larme kei or even Harajuku fashion. Even now when she has pieces from actual Japanese brands her outfits are badly coordinated and just look like a weird clash between weeb fashion and edgy instagram fashion.
Like seriously isn't she ashamed of her oil stained dress and making her fucking fiance wash it on top of that? It's like saying ''ahaha look at how dirty and messy I'm ain't I cute lololol'' First of all when you eat messy/oily food don't put on a dress unless it's a a really used one. And if you make a mess at least have the decency to cut the part out. It's funny how her fans will accept anything and encourage her to do mukbang even though it's obvious she has 0 table manners. For a 26 year old she has manners worse than a 6 year old, heck I'm sure most parents would be ashamed if they see their kid with noodle in their hair and urge them to clean it up.
i just went on her instagram and apparently the answer to ''what happens when water freezes'' is ''summer is over'' and it comes from the Fruit basket anime (not sure if it's true caus I never watched furuba).
Dude wtf with that thumbnail, looks like she just dragged some transparent images over a video frame, like some video assignment people do in high school, is her degree really interactive media design? (whatever that thing's meant to be)
Well that was 10 min of my life wasted... Why does the director have to pick Mei? other than pure aesthetic reasons i just don't see why, and according to the previous pages at least one of the other girls seems to have actual acting experience, so why mix some amateur in and fly her across the globe for this? If he wanted a girl with the pink aesthetic that badly he would just pick some pretty girl from an audition and give her a pink front lace wig. i don't understand anything about the movie or the purpose, in some of the scenes the background noises were too loud it became hard to even understand what they were saying, looks like the kind of thing produced by some edgy film student, nothing special, just pretty faces and random deep lines.
Seriously why do people even bother watching her shit nowadays? Sure her videos don't have that much views compared to her subs number but there's absolutely nothing interesting about them and the editing's crap. It's fine if Yumi doesn't want to do sewing videos but at least she could generate more creative ideas for vlogs, like actually going to cute cafes or showing herself visiting chinatown if she likes her culture that much. She moved across a state but hardly goes out except to eat at cheap buffets or go to grocery stores. Like if you are so out of ideas you gotta film yourself cleaning a fucking toilet you should really do more interesting things. Many other youtubers with around the same number of views (5 number figures) consider youtube as a full time job and actually put effort into their contents and editing.
