Yeah, the bangs don't really do it for me... they are neither really there nor really flimsy? I think proper full bangs or grown out bangs would suit her better... They honestly look like a bad accident. Except she's been keeping them like this on purpose for a while

I can't shake the feeling Yasu played a big part in her dropping out of Bunka. It would make sense if he reinforced her self-doubts about staying able to pull off Bunka, in order to gain more control about her. I get that Mikan was really overwhelmed by the workload on top of her mental health issues and all of that in a foreign country/language. But dropping out with no new "plan" and then moving in with someone she's only known for a few months with screams "bad idea". Of course a manipulator would approve of having a dependent stay-at-home trophy girlfriend, so he's satisfied. But gurrrrl, you gotta think ahead and plan for your own future. Props for deciding to go see a therapist, tho.

On a side note, I don't think Vina is actually refusing to move back to Europa, like Venus is. I think she would prefer to stay in Japan, and having a boyfriend who lives in Japan is usually motivation enough. It's just sad this boyfriend seems like such a shitty gaslighter and she's not seeing it. It might be possible that Yasu is "only" a ruthless *sshat who thinks he's entitled to the "most famous" woman he can manage to fall for him and now that he's achieved that, he's settling. Buuuut... it's really creepy to hear how he's behaved in the past, not gonna lie. Mikan really did get stuck in the Venus flytrap, huh.

As boring as Mikan is right now. I am actually feeling bad for her. She clearly seems very lost and depressed and you can tell that Frog face doesn't seem give a shit or love her as much as she thinks. I hope she grows up and eventually realizes the shit that she got herself into and drop the kermit like a stone.
