I remember I used to follow her because I’m from Denmark too and thought maybe she would carter a bit to her danish fans. But I had to unfollow her because it’s just “Korea, korea, korea”. It felt like she somehow tried to act as if she already was from Korea and had all the knowledge about it, and Denmark wasn’t good enough for her big kboo dreams.

On her other channel (the one with korean titles) she says a few words in korean here and there (very basic tho) and has korean subs and I noticed that she only likes the comments in korean (all of which tell her just how pretty she like this cringy one 언니 세상에서 제일 예뻐요) - it does reinforce my thoughts on narcissism.

yep, can confirm. just went to the vlog channel and she only likes Korean comments mostly about her appearance. Also, I had my boyfriend take a look at one of the videos and he says her subtitles are fine so she's definitely getting help from a friend or Korean Bros or whatever because she can't type that level subs if she can barely speak

edit: also my bf thinks she's super fake because of her "I don't speak Korean and I'm not going to study in Korea" to sudden "I need to learn Korean because it's my duty as a visitor to their country."

Just read the whole thread haha well seems like she has a company who gave her a visa for her youtube thing so idk if she manages her account or if someone from her company does and likes all the comments, write the subtitles etc but that would make sense

I don't really think she is a koreaboo but she is living the koreaboo dream. But what will she do when she loses interest in Korea? She's too old to be blinded by the beauty of it all and Korea being just another country I'm worried for her about how long this will last lol. I know she's chasing her dream but it'll all crash at one point because she has no degree, her Korean still sucks, she has no career other than youtube and we all know that is temporary, especially when it is about 'Korea'. You can't keep squeezing out content about a country for the rest of your life yea?

This girl came up in my recommendations with New Years GRWM. The only good thing is that at least it's not drag queen makeup. But she really seems like a closet Koreaboo - pretending to not be too excited about South Korea but failing.

It's just like Japan starting with 2012, after Dakota Rose became a model there and everyone decided they can too. It has been dieing down slowly, maybe because they changed their destination to South Korea now

Maybe I didn't word myself correctly. She obviously is a Koreaboo but she's not as cringy or awful as the other ones? Like someone said she's more like a closet kboo who at least tries to be somewhat considerate so she's more bearable to watch imo.

oh yes i agree totally. when i first found her videos, i really enjoyed her and enjoyed the fact that she wasn't all up in your face. i dislike her because i think she's problematic and fake, but i still really like that she's not all "KPOP THIS, KDRAMA THAT, IDOL OPPAR ILY"
