Well, considering Sharla has stayed overnight at that apartment for many nights and Taylor's mom was also a house guest at some point, it was more of a spare bedroom i suppose. I do wonder about those bits she filmed waking up with Rosie on that bed. If that was all staged, that's just on another level....
I was a bit surprised at her intonation and pronunciation. But maybe the reason why her japanese seems that rusty is because she's constantly listening to her fiance, who i suppose has also learned japanese as a second language? english is not my mother tongue, and i noticed my pronunciation changes depending on what i listen to and surround myself with. Maybe that's why she sounds weird when she speaks in japanese....
and don't forget that the hoodie she was wearing was Taylor's, isn't it the one Taylor purchased when she went to that barbie cafe with Venus? Does Sharla ever bring her own clothes when she goes to Tokyo?
Taylor once mentioned they spent time together whenever he was in Japan, so my guess is that he travels quite often due to work or something. Maybe right now her boyfriend is abroad or not in Tokyo. Would make sense if they spent lots of time apart to act all lovey dovey and going on dates every day during the time he's in Tokyo.
Here it is guys! http://www.mediafire.com/download/2s0etcmu1svei7s/KANADAJIN3_live_-_Questions_about_Japan.mp4
Don't forget she kept texting and looking at her phone while she was supposed to be answering questions. Honestly, it was pretty painful watching her mangle english during the live chat. Sorry for the delay with the upload
TBH, i watched the video prepared to actually hate it, but I didn't. I've sat through numerous international english examinations and the things she mentioned, have actually happened to me. The disclaimer was a nice touch, even if she feels it's useless for her it doesn't mean it'll be useless for everyone. But it does come off as a bit of an attention seeking method. does anyone else here believe she has an N2 certificate?
wasn't she talking about studying from different books just like a young child would at school in japan? I mean, she's "studying" science, geography and other stuff... I don't have an issue with her learning new stuff (though those books looked brand new, like she never even opened them till she started recording the video imo), but she said she "loves studying", yet isn't she a highschool dropout? Maybe she didn't like to study stuff IN ENGLISH
