   not to get nickpicky here but I wish mei would give a warning before posting her body pictures on her insta story. it might not seem like a big deal for some people, but seeing her being so skinny yet portraying her body as 'fat' really triggers me and probably other people who have eds. it's nice to see her trying to become more healthy but it made me a bit upset seeing her show her body in that way.

   sorry to bump a pretty inactive thread for a little nickpicky thing, but I noticed in her hair video with her stylist she was talking about paying upwards of $1000 for an appointment, and her latest video is a $4000 designer haul! she claimed to be so down to earth and not privileged, but goes and blows so much money. kinda jealous of her lifestyle haha

   it says in the description she was recovering from a throat infection, but even her choice of words seem so robotic. we need a counter of how many times she says 'pigmented' in that video hahaha
   It's a nice look, but I'm not seeing ANY coral. The colour of the year was really bold, so she could've made a statement look (though I know it's not really what mei is into, it would be nice to see anything different) instead of the uninspired pastel looks she's done a billion times.

   it's fine to have house cats, as long as you have the opportunity to spend time with them, else they can get stressed from boredom. A family friend has two house cats and they're very happy and sweet.

   its basically a typical bf tag, questions like what do you like about eachother, when you met, ect.
   olivya also mentions that prior to this relationship, she was in a very bad and toxic relationship which I assume was a contribution to her issues around 2 years ago. very glad she's doing ok now!

    I think her channel is fun for like...tweens who don't try to draw at a professional level but her actual skills are on par with a high schooler (in my country, so like 11-16 years). Copying a photo isn't as hard as some people who don't do art think it is. I don't think anyone serious about art should really bother trying to get any good advice from her, but a person, she seems pretty harmless. (Seriously though, $200 for that?? Looks like something a 12 year old did.)

    I can't even comprehend Rin. No dysphoria, no problems dressing as a girl, but will bite your head off and send an army after you if you call them a 'she'. They're so embarrassing for the LGBT makeup community (though I HIGHLY doubt they are even LGBT in the first place but it's not my place to tell them that), and just use sexuality and gender as an accessory. Imagine being so void of a personality that you have to mention how gay you are every second...

    Why bother with the hair dye videos? It's not like she shows the process in any detail. It's as boring to watch a girl get her hair dyed as it is to get it done yourself. Brand rep to her hairdressers?

    I think both Rin and Kalvin are in the wrong in different ways with their reactions, but Kalvin's questions were not intrusive in any way, and Rin took them too personally for no reason. I do agree that people like Rin give the trans community a bad reputation, as they represent an ideology that you can be trans without experiencing dysphoria (which you obviously do, or else you wouldn't have any initiative to change your gender).

    is it just me who enjoys these grwm videos? Sure, they're a little boring, but Mei's personality is a lot less overbearing as some beauty youtubers and her videos are always chill and I enjoy watching old ones before bed as they put me in a good mood. I do think the look is very nice but I could hardly tell what she was doing with the eye makeup lmao
