    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

She's really trying to make that expression her 'funny' trademark isn't she? And isn't she going for like a week?? How much does she need to pack?

I kinda hope she stops this grin. I know it's unflattering on purpose, but I'd rather not look like Talking Tiffany.

Also, is she referring to Ryan (the keychain) as Teddy...? Like a teddy bear? Ryan's not even a bear though. Maybe in the video she says she knows, but if not..at least koreaboo correctly.

I know she is joking but this is NOT funny. It is embarrassing.

Actually this is my favourite part about this. Everyone knows/hopes/assumes she’s joking, but the way she does it is just so off that we’re still all cringing.

Can’t wait for that comedy channel. :doge:

(No really I can’t wait.)

I kinda think she does that smile because it highlights her smile lines which she seems to think are dimples.

Nah I just went on the vid to check and Teddy Blake is the brand of bag in the video that she was given for free 😐

Also people in the comments of that vid saying they can't wait for her to meet more creepy guys in Korea  for storytimes...so pathetic. Forget about vlogs about the country's beautiful nature or interesting history and culture. They just want her to upload videos about some club fuckbois. Really shows the mentality of her fanbase.

I think most of them are living their fantasy through her storytimes. You know, about this beautiful foreigner who can stop traffic and that guy from bts wants them or any other kpop idol, oor just random oppa on the street. It is sad.

Oh got cha, I'll take my second comment back then. I was about to say--

But yeah, for her pander to an audience this immature is really whack to me.

this pisses me off so much & is a huge reason why i stopped liking her.

it's just so weird bc when i met her in korea she wasn't really turning heads or anything looks wise (& she did go out to clubs a lot, as opposed to the rest of us who would hang out/eat/shop/actually explore around korea together. nothing wrong w/ clubbing tho - u do u, just noting the differences LOL.)

poor namjoon, all that dude does (these days anyway looool & yes that's shade to when he was a dumbass ; ) is mind his business and make music. meanwhile he has pebbles here fabricating stalker style 'secret messages' about him. talmbout 'it's a JOKE wink wink' when he's the only dude she talks about, constantly!!! and she's gone to the length of making multiple videos reading creepy sexual fanfiction about him.

and bye @ her trying to discredit such arbitrary parts of disour's story when she knows damn well she's avoiding the real criticism. oh well!

makes sense someone with teeth so childish would behave like a child tho

i'm curious, what's her personality like irl? does she come across as confident or outspoken? does she go out of her way to make new friends? maybe you've already addressed this so feel free to link me to that but if not, i'd be interested to know

i mentioned it in the kvloggers thread but i'll re-summarize it here too:

basically when i first met her she seemed really nice & kinda quiet. we have some mutual friends / were friends at one point. we were both into kpop/korean (obviously... with both of us being in korea LOL), so that was a shared interest. in the beginning of the trip we hung out a lot, but then over the course of a few months everyone started to form/hang out w/ their own friend groups so we grew apart. she started clubbing more & doing other things, so i was kinda like "nah i'm good." (AKA where her storytimes come from :P) she didn't seem super confident or outspoken, but she seems to act more quiet towards ppl she doesn't know as well, but is loud around her friends/in videos. (i'm kinda similar to this) she DEF plays it up in videos, personality wise.

i posted some old pics of her when i met her in the kvloggers thread but i was surprised when i found out she did youtube/was into kbeauty cuz she didn't look like that when we were in korea ahah.

hopefully that helps. :alpacaheadshake:

I sometimes feel bad for channels like Lala's and Pebbles. Like they legit think they've cultivated a fanbase that's here for them when in reality their fanbase mostly consists of fickle kboos who only care that they live in/talk about Korea. Once they can no longer be someone they can live vicariously through, their "fanbase" will be ghost. (I feel like the only reason Lala didn't start dropping in subscribers after her "I'm not gonna talk about Korea anymore" video is because despite what she says, she still lives there, so she'll have to talk bout it or show her life in Korea eventually. )I've seen it happen so many times with expats and each time it's kind of funny to see how shook they are that their videos aren't doing the numbers they used to. Anyone remember smiling seoul? Even Hallyuback had to resort to doing cringe click-bait videos about BTS just to keep their numbers up to a portion of what they used to be. Simon and Martina have probably made the best transition but I still don't think they're averaging the numbers that they did in Korea. And in their case, they're actually putting out quality videos unlike a lot of these other expats that just sit in their room and talk about NB2 and Korean fuckbois.

Also, it's crazy to me that pebbles has already built a channel around Korea when the total time she's spent there hasn't even averaged more than 3 months. Like she hasn't even secured a job there or a way to stay there for a prolonged period of time, and decided to build the core of her channel around it? Cuz let's be real, she can say she's a "make up/beauty" channel all she wants but her real main selling point is her Korean/Korea story times. I wouldn't be surprised if most of her viewers who voted for her for the style beauty contest did it not because they actually enjoyed her tutorials, but because they wanted to get her ass back to Korea for more Korea club fuckboi story times asap.

I just thought of a question. Does this girl have any self-respect? At all? You're taught that you're supposed to behave yourself when you go over to someone else's house. The same rules apply when you're traveling into a country.

She doesn't think of South Korea as an actual country. We all know she probably thinks it is a dreamland where "every guy will hit on her because she's so ~*beautiful*~". It's just disrespectful to go to a country that's so rich in history and culture..and everyone is like "cAnt wAiT untIL CReepy gUys hiT oN u lololol more storytimes".

most don't even care that it's about her makeup competition :alpacabored:

I said the exact same thing in the K-vlogger discussion thread. I do think LALA is going to have a fan base once she leaves Korea though simply because her personality prevails which is something too many youtubers lack in general.

Kennie is going to realize the wig videos, story times and long ass live streams are going to get tired. If she was smart she would rebrand herself like LALA is doing to sustain a fan base. Despite belief I think LALA subscribers are there for her personality more than her Korean related content because when does speak about Korean she doesn't really have much to say anymore.
