    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.
    • Reputation Has Increased!   07/06/20

Hello. You have been asking for it and it is finally here. We have increased the number of reputation given in a day from 25 to 50. We will see how well 50 works out and if that is enough. Please continue to provide feedback and we will reevaluate as needed. This change has been added to the site changes thread located here. Happy repping. Thank you.

I just feel she made her video an exaggeration on a simple known fact in Japan...mybe cuz alot of other j-loggers already pointed them out so there is nothing new to add or it's Mikan trying to make them 'something different' or trying to make it a cool/weird fact about Japan

Well I'm pretty sure that there aren't that many northern european restaurants in Shinjuku (or was it Shibuya? please correct me if I'm wrong). "I don't share it out of personal reasons", instead "don't go there, its like almost next to my apartment" Plus, it was obvious, if you share an exotic place you recommend, that people will ask. Maybe it's just me.

Now I wanna know where that place is too just because the food looks amazing... Guess I'll stay with the Little Mermaid bakeries then 🤷‍

But I honestly don't get what she was expecting, I doubt that soooo many people asked that she couldn't have copypasted that as a private reply to them.

I don’t think a restaurant being “close to her apartment” is an any way dangerous or doxxing lol, but i just she’s just being extra extra careful.

From another perspective:

Mikan could have used the location of the restaurant n not tell it's next to her apartment? YES SOUNDS SAFE!..If your that afraid of getting doxxed than why share personal info like your weight issues n that ur attending a fashion college etc on utube in the first place?? actually this is exactly how we found she did sex work on that site...cuz she doxed her London home n her real name...Is she trying to make that restaurant just for her use?

If she put the pic of the food n said the restaurant name but not said it's close to her place than a majority of followers will go to the restaurant to try the food not visit/ invade her privacy. I mean the followers want to try the food

It shouldn't be that difficult to find some European-style restaurants simply from the dish she posted either. It's not like there are a ton of European restaurants like that in Tokyo, most would be French or German, but tbh even those aren't exactly at every corner of the city. And if you compare photos of dishes, I'm sure someone could figure it out. So she kinda doxed herself again.

Exactly. Her first picture describes two menus, the owner, the fact its NEAR her apartment, and that she lives in Shinjuku/Shibuya (still need correction on that, I mix those two up all the time) I think she also mentioned she doesn't live far from a train station. So yeah, I don't know what she expected.

I'm sure it can't be that hard to find considering the food is 'unique' and how many restaurants can there be like that in Japan? Damn

How many time has she doxed herself already? Does she need a manual? Come on girl, it's not that hard, just share the pic without saying it's near your place smh

tbh it wasn't necessary at all to mention that it's close to your apartment especially if you don't want people to find you for privacy reason. all of this could be avoided if she just only said the name of the restaurant and how good it was, nobody will even have a damn idea you live close by. girl you are the one giving yourself a stalker bc of how you broadcast yourself with unecessary information and complain about it later on. you already doxxed yourself a couple of times pls don't tell me you still haven't learn from it?
