On the topic for stalking and whatnot, has anyone else heard the news about Dr. Disrespect? (If this doesn't belong in this thread mods pls feel free to delete, I'm not sure if he would count as E-boy despite streaming and etc) But apparently someone has shot into his house twice in a row now? The second time was caught on stream and supposedly his upstairs window was shot into?

Now I'm not defending any past actions by Dr. Disrespect (aka cheating on his wife with a Mod and etc) but imo that's still fucked that someone would feel it's okay to do this? I mean he has a wife and kids and is still trying to work things out with his stream community and wife from what I've heard. Yeah he fucked up big time with the whole cheating situation but to drive by his house and shoot at it is a wtf????

Very true, props for the grind and trying to maintain some type of positive outlook during all of this. Like it's okay to dislike / be against an online person / streamer but to try and scare / physically hurt them and or their family is literally fucked.

question why are thots like amouranth still not banned?? she's still making millions a year for no god  damn reason what so ever.  by the end of her career she will have racked up a whooping 4-8mil dollars easily.

Simple, Twitch is no longer just a gaming platform.  Also these girls have a tendency to pull in several viewers and that means more money for twitch.

its unfortunate that twitch has allowed this titty streamer thing to get this out of hand. not sure if you saw recently but:

https://livestreamfails.com/post/28658

this is completely allowed. this woman did not receive any kind of warning or ban.   this is actual porn?  i know her intention is not to make it porn but this is straight up nudity on a gaming site intended for children.   as a woman, i hate the fact that other women feel like this is their only chance at getting ahead.   but it is.  sadly.  it is.  there arent enough females on twitch to support the career of other females who dont do this,  and guys would never ever ever respect a female enough to support her without a little cleavage or eye liner wings.   i dont understand why there was no example set with dijari https://clips.twitch.tv/DarkBusyCormorantRaccAttack  so now body painters are flying in by the dozens.  even ones who have never done it before,  who dont even game or appreciate the culture.

It falls in the art category.  I’m sure she had her nipples covered as she began.  I understand not wanting to view this type of content, but it’s not as vulgar as you described it.  There is much worse happening on the platform than just body painting.  This isn’t a woman’s only chance to get ahead, it just gains traction quicker.  I think it’s sad you think a man would never respect a woman enough to support her without makeup or cleavage.

OT (kinda)  Seriously though, it’s not the fault of an “E Thot” for the way some “men” behave.  Even before Twitch, men have been making explicitly sexual comments to women without warrant or much worse.  We shouldn’t have to conceal our interests or sexuality to be taken seriously.  Likewise women who engage in more modest behavior shouldn’t have to give into their male audience’s desire for tits either.  It’s the dudes and the twitch team who have created this disgusting standard.

^^^ THIS

TBH most sites with a large male demographic have this problem and I'm so sick of it. Like just look at any subreddit where men are the majority. Any post with a woman in it turns into a cesspool of rating her and reducing her to her looks alone. Twitch (and gaming culture in general) has helped cultivate this environment and now its backfiring on them.

There are definitely women who exploit the loopholes/their sexuality solely in order to gain viewership. However, at the end of the day, it is the desperate and thirsty Twitch users that are the root of the problem. They are the ones who reward this behavior and encourage it to spread (and ironically are the first ones to complain, too). It's just such a shitty situation overall because the people who truly get hurt are the women who just want to play games without having to pander to anyone.

(Also just to clarify I'm not saying all men are trash or something - it's just that these corners of the internet tend to attract immature men and the idiocy they bring. If the average age of twitch viewers were older I don't think we'd have this problem).

At the end of the day, it is men who are the root of the problem, but it makes it sound like women who exploit this aren't all that bad. It's like saying cigarette business owners aren't doing anything wrong because consumers are the ones that buy their product and reward cigarette owners. "E-thot" streamers are encouraging the behaviour of men because that's how they get money. Doing things like nude body painting is almost pushing the line. It's completely different to showing cleavage and working out on camera. I'm all for raking in cash and exploiting men's disgusting desire but there is no boundary for women doing nude body painting or anything similar to this kind of platform.

I don't mean to attack anyone, this is how I see things

I understand that, but it’s kinda like rape culture you know?  People assume women are asking for it when they wear low cut tops and what not and in some way they are representing themselves sexually, but it doesn’t condone the behavior of the males.  And to compare this to a non female male issue, it’s kinda like how we have “reinforced” safety precautions by encouraging children to look both ways before crossing the street, but if a driver blatantly ran through a stop sign and hit the child, people wouldn’t put blame on the child for not looking both ways.

If anything I feel like the eThot generation really emphasizes the fact that so many women feel that they need to lower their standards to get their foot in the door or make money.  I’m not condoning all of their behavior though either.  In the stance of the body paint though, I do feel like you’re reaching.  There is a lot of art that depicts nudity but it’s still art.

Hey not here to wk but I’m an artist and from an artist point of view ... bodypainting isn’t sexual. Yes she has boobs but if you’re trying to titty fuck a blue titty you have some strange alien fetish. Bodypainting when done well is actual art and I think it’s beautiful. That’s just my opinion and I understand that people can disagree, while I personally would never stream body painting, I respect people who can pull it off. I’m not sure of her result however but if it’s detailed and actually looks like something really cool, it should be okay.

Kind of disappointed by her choice of body painting, because the skilled ones do it so well. If I were to ever body paint I’d do the boobs before going live personally.

I agree - and TBH her end result is kinda cool (I definitely couldn't paint that scarf ). I don't necessarily think it's fair to label it "thotty" just because she happens to have a large chest. I'm still kinda torn on whether body painting should really be allowed according to Twitch TOS, but they're not really the biggest problem on the site.

As long as streamers make their intentions known, they're fine in my book. For me, the biggest problem on the site is women who use their sexuality to gain viewership while simultaneously denying that they are (i.e Pokimane, xChocobars). They blur the line and warp viewer expectations, making it hard for normal women to gain viewership on the platform. Female streamers should not have to post a billion selfies, use filters and PS, and center their stream around their physical appearance just to get noticed.

I just want to see a female Shroud - someone who is respected for gameplay first. I'm aware that these people exist, but I think the women that I mentioned above make it harder for them to break into the scene.

Anne munition, asivrs, oneshotgurl, ms harvery, potter etc.  all girls who built their empire on skill and not looks.  they're out there.  they're just not OUT there.

so i guess nate's been accused of cheating.  tldr  he was teamed up with funkbomb for the skirmish yesterday.  there was no delay on the main stream and players were required to leave the match if they died to prevent lag.  funk died, went to the fortnite stream to watch since he was no longer able to spectate,  started saying what he was seeing to nate  (positioning and hp of two players) then went silent when he realized what he was actually doing.

my opinion?  from the video  https://streamable.com/7tn4a  nate isnt even paying attention to what funk said.  i was watching it live and i didnt even hear him because nate was in the middle of shit and by himself.   it was a 14 second blip on funks part but cheating?  not even close.   they're both incredible players that have zero reason to cheat,  the motive is not there.  i know when i die and im looking at the screen im shouting out shit for my team mate without even realizing it sometimes.   he instantly realized what he was doing is in the realm of ghosting and stopped.   poor nates crying on stream, can you imagine?  he did nothing wrong,  this is at the height of his career and was only going up and something like this just destroys it.

yikes.
