I don' know if it counts as model work, but found Taylor on this page of "BE girls" from the beaty exchange website: https://www.beautyexchange.jp/girls.htm

Be Girls is a free blogging platform anyone can use. Her modeling agency probably created an account for her and wrote her blog posts. It's actually pretty common for Japanese agencies to run blogs for their non-Japanese models when the girls are first starting out.

A few have mentioned that Taylor altered her style to meet the Japanese market, but there is nothing particularly Japanese about her style. The types of cosmetic procedures she has likely had aren't common in Japan and her makeup is very unusual from a Japanese perspective. People associate real dolls with Japan, but it's an Eastern European and Chinese phenomenon. Most foreign models in Japan are of the Eastern European variety but using Tokyo as a stepping stone to the world of high fashion modeling. In fact, many of the world’s most successful models (and a number of Hollywood actresses) got their start in Tokyo. To give you an idea of what types of foreign models are sought after in Japan, SPUR (https://spur.hpplus.jp/), Nylon (http://www.nylon.jp/) and Figaro (http://www.nylon.jp/) are Japanese magazines that feature both famous international models and foreign models based in Japan. (Most Japanese fashion magazines only employ Japanese and mixed-Japanese models.)

Japanese women also tend to dress more conservatively (but still stylish) once they enter the workforce. Most university students in Tokyo don't even dress as cutesy or as young as Taylor and the other jvloggers.

Some of the most popular fashion magazines among 20-year olds in Japan: Steady (http://tkj.jp/steady/), Sweet (http://tkj.jp/sweet/), Giselle (http://tokyo.cawaii.media/gisele/) and Oggi (http://oggi.tv/).

The most popular beauty magazines in Japan: Voce (http://i-voce.jp/), Biteki (https://www.biteki.com/) and Bijin Hyakka (http://www.bijinhyakka.jp/).

I saw that people are wondering in this and other treads why does she only do catalogue and editorials. She is too short for runaway and she's not a model material, the models she did editorials are model material. She pretty and all but no.

I have to agree with shady. Even before her surgeries she was never beautiful or striking enough to succeed as a model. The only reason she was successful in hk was because she was blonde and blue eyed and she stayed instead of pursuing modeling in Europe or the states. There are plenty of models that work in hk to gain experience when they start but they usually move on.

Exactly, except she isn't blue eyed lol. She's a pretty girl next door but she doesn't have a unique fierce face and a killer bone structure, especialy not now when she filled her cheeks and did a jaw surgery. Btw, why do models first work in Hong Kong? Are the standars lower there? Is it cheaper to live there and gain experience, i don't get it? If her family is rich, why she didn't become overnight successful like Hadid sisters (they're also pretty but not really model material), Hailey Baldwin and the rest of a squad.

Just checked her insta. She kinda looks more like her old self at the moment but still has huge eyes but much better comparing to those horrifying pictures of her as a lolita or something.

A lot of new models work in Asia first for experience because the jobs aren't as prestigious or well paid(?) compared to working on Italy, France, Britain ot the United States. For example is a bigger deal to walk in fashion week on the big four.

There is less competition for jobs in Asia so they're more likely to land actual paying jobs instead of doing test shots.

The difference between the Hadid sisters and Taylor are that the Hadids are rich in LA, and are also both taller than 5'8". I've never seen Taylor walk a runway (TGC or any shows in other countries) either.

lol omg the hadids are rich as in hundreds of millions or dollars, taylors dad has like a couple mil max (and i'm being generous). the hadids parents are also connected in the industry.  taylors dad sells cars.

the difference is huge.

Ikr, i sad that she didn't walk on runaway because she was too short but she is still the same height as Cara Delevigne, who was on every hf runaway so it's not aways strict on the height.

It's not. Cara Delevigne and Devon Aoki are good examples of models who benefitted from nepotism and were still able to walk runways even though they were 5'6"-5'7".  But as chickabee noted, they're socialites or heiresses whose parents are millionaires/billionaires and it's very different from Taylor's circumstances.  IMO she doesn't have anything close to "it" factor, and she's still riding on her modest commercial modeling success in HK, as noted in the tags on her videos, but this is Taylor, after all, and she has no problem embellishing on the truth.

It's not that Taylor isn't pretty it's more like there are prettier models out there doing the exact same jobs that Taylor did. Taylor face imo seems best suited for commercial, TV and the occasional magazine page. She's what is some modelling companies call lifestyle models essentially models who fall short for runway and high fashion print magazines but have the face for commercials, TV models, like shopping channels, and the models who appear in certain magazines but aren't famous enough for a "oh I know her" reaction.

OT: I was wish I could be that type of model tbh :/

I've always thought Taylor is pretty, but not model like. I never really understood how she got all those jobs in Hong Kong... well it makes more sense now that we know more about elbow-san. He must have helped her tons! She would have never been able to do it all on her own, we should have known it from the start. She's better suited being a youtuber/social media personality than a model in my opinion.
