Find Your Love In Japan (Nobita)

I came across this Reddit comment claiming to be Nobita:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Tokyo/comments/4duhq6/comment/d2sittt

It's about buying drugs in Tokyo, but if you look at the poster's (SmokingInTheToilet) other comments, there's some racism. Like calling black people the n-word or complaining about brown people in Europe. Could just be a troll, but I thought it was interesting...

So this account is really his, huh?

Some screenshots i gathered from his reddit account, just in case shit hits the fan and he decides to delete it

Him being racist

 Him being islamophobic

Him just being a cunt for no reason

Yess I am here for this thread this guy has bothered me for sooo long. Those race videos were super problematic I hate the mentality of “that happened a long time ago get over it” there are people that still remember public lynchings and segregation. He makes my skin crawl

I also saw his latest video and it was full of ignorance. When you don't live the terror you can't understand it. I get where he's trying to go with this video but it was just a huge no-no. He said many things that are racist, ignorant and all in all stupid. He should just shut up about things outside of Japan.

I do think his intention was to be motivating and uplifting, as in "stop seeing yourself as a victim and you'll climb up as victorious!" but that's not what he actually said. There are so much oppression that black people actually have to live with every day in US. It's not the land where everyone has the same opportunities and far too many times being born black in the wrong neighborhood sets you up for life. Crime is the only way to go for many young men. Sure other races have problems but not in the same scale.

I really dislike this man...

Welp another one of them sigh. What is it with the influx of people sticking their noses a little too far into other peoples business. He's like the Japanese version of those guys you find in the Japan Times Fb comments, Quora etc. They understand some of the issues at hand but they don't live there, moved away or haven't done enough research on the issues; however, instead of admitting they don't really know what they're talking about they insist they do making them very annoying individuals to deal with.

Kanadajin3 all over again imo

I was honestly making a response to this video but I stopped just shy of 4 minutes into the video because of how stupid this video is. I seriously recommend watching Contrapoint's video on racism in America. She goes over a lot of the points Nobita makes. I'm just going to go over some of the stuff he says.

Nobita talks about protesting and how that leads to violence. I'm guessing that Nobita holds the opinion that protesting is bad because possible crimes can be committed? Nobita, Martin Luther King Jr was literally arrested for protesting. Rosa Parks was commiting a crime by getting on that bus. Does that now discredit everything they stand for because they've committed a crime? How do you think we've gotten to a point of equality in the law? Because it certainly wasn't the status quo deciding to give up power. Why would the status quo give up power when there's no opposition protesting.

Nobita also makes the point, somewhere around 4 minutes, that every issue in the black community is caused by the black community because there's no Jim Crow or slavery. I just..... Because of Jim Crow, black people missed out on job opportunities they might have had if they were any other race. Being black under Jim Crow meant shittier jobs. Shittier jobs meant less pay. Wealth gets passed on from generation to generation. Once you're in this cycle, it's extremely hard to get out. When you look at statistics, it's very rare for someone to go from very broke to very rich. Usually most people stay around the same class. People are very heavily influenced by their society, and when you haven't been given support by teachers or parents to go into higher education, then it's hard to do it on your own. You rarely see someone who is a gangster most of their teens suddenly decide to go into law school when no one in their environment has supported them and given them those opportunities to get into higher education before. I'm rambling a bit, but you get my point. People are heavily, heavily influenced by their enviroment and it's hard to get out of a cycle you've been born into.

He also shows a picture with the words "affirmative action." I'm guessing he thinks this is a bad thing? Nobita, affirmative action is meant to help people who don't have the same opportunities as more privileged, wealthier people. It's meant to give the disenfranchised an opportunity to eduaction. Also, it helps mostly white women anyway. If you've done a second of research you would have realized that.

Also, he cites fucking Breitbart in the description. What a fucking joke.

Edit; I watched a bit further into the video and he's worried about brown people coming to his precious ethnostate because crime MIGHT increase. What stupid point. Do you really think that people who are stuck in the cycle of poverity are going over to your precious Japan JUST to commit crimes? God, this is so stupid. Technically, non-zero percentage of EVERY race commits crimes, should that justify banning all foreigners to Japan? Although, this is Nobita were talking about and it's well documented that he's only scared of brown people. Let's face it, Nobita is a racist and the only reason he made this video is because he's afraid of brown people.

It’s best not to give him any views. He is obsessed with black people and a right ringer loser nut job.

A black person must have stole his girl because he is obsessed. But I doubt a Japanese woman would want him. So he is trying the get approval from racist white people.

He doesn’t want to educated. Look at him his whole life is a “L”, don’t waste your keystrokes.

Honestly I don’t even bother watching his videos anymore especially the ones about race and feminism guessing by sour or conscending expression the thumbnail of most of those I’m 100% sure it’s not gonna be positive,a big waste of my time, and mostly bullshit based off of bias studies that he didn’t even bother to do the research or how the stats actually are and WHO FUNDED IT. He’s almost as bad as a 80 year old conservative who strictly watches Fox new and thinks Rush Limbaugh is “a sure swell guy” As a person in the flipped perspective of nobita (so I’m an American woman whom has lived in japan) I don’t think he even knows about the rape epidemic in my country, or the fact that women don’t even have the rights to their own bodies, trans women are being killed and tortured just existing, the business side of japan for women is almost the same situation as America, no equal pay, no maternity leave yada yada. I just wished he did research from both sides I do understand there are a few bad apples in the movement but there’s bad apples in every group to label one whole group how the bad apples act isn’t just plain unfair. I bet you he doesn’t even know what intersectional feminism is.

He said several times himself that he only had one relationship so far? He‘s so deperate and wants to be surrounded by other desperate white people looking for love in Japan.

And why does he always have to shout at the camera.

How in the whole world do you go from thisdfsf.thumb.png.dc7127e00e07116f82a569dcb
to this

in less than one year? I have my own issues when it comes to Black Lives Matter and the tactics/rhetoric they use but there's a huge difference between criticizing BLM for e.g. interrupting a Pride parade/having one of their leaders call white people genetic defects and straight up saying "Why don't black people stop committing crimes if they don't want to be treated as criminals xD". I already had my suspicions about him being a racist but seeing his posts on Reddit (assuming that it's actually his account) pretty much cements it. Stick to the topic of dating please, having people like Stefan Molymeme and Black Piss Speaks show up in your related channels panel is not something to be proud over:

Edit: Coincidentally, I spotted this on Twitter today and I immediately thought of Nobita:Ruby Bridges (who's only 63 years old today) actually had to be escorted by four police men because there was an angry mob outside of her school that wanted to lynch her. It really gives you some perspective, doesn't it? 1960 wasn't that long ago

There's a big market in catering to that crowd. You can get a good following with low-effort videos by reaffirming people's racism. It just creates a really shitty feedback loop. He's getting praise for being brave and telling the truth, and I doubt his previous videos got that.

It's funny that he's so concerned and scared of black people when there's barely any in his country to begin with lol. The only place he's gone to outside of Japan is Canada, which doesn't have much diversity either, so what's his deal? Contrary to what the stats may tell you Nobita, not every place in America has black people shooting each other, robbing, and doing drugs. If that was the case then I would have been dead a long time ago. Maybe if you learned how to do proper research, check the source of the articles you quote, do some mental connections, study at least a little bit of America's history, and learn the difference between environment and race, you would realize how stupid you sound coming to the conclusion of "Don't commit crimes and you won't face racism."

Asians don't commit much crime in America yet they still encounter racism each day. Some are even from or descendants of your precious Japan, so what do you have to say to them? "Deal with it."? Do black people a favor and stay off our backs please. It's one thing to do a video about crime rates and Black-Americans, but it shows a lot about you when you make more than one video and even go so far as to call some dangerous simply because they believe in something YOU find toxic. Stick to helping people with yellow fever find their kawaii Japanese waifu's. Considering how your country treats mixed-raced children (the ones who are half-black and half-japanese that is), black people in general, and other minorities, you have little to no right to be as you say "harsh on blacks".

Honestly, I don’t think that reddit poster is nobita seems just like a troll posing as him and I think that because this persons English is much more fluent sounding than nobitas (not saying they must be a native speaker) and they use words especially slang that he doesn’t. What I’m trying to get at is nobita has a particular way of talking and typing that’s very noticeable even in the comment section he types the same due to his poor grammar even one of his thumbnails says “the US horribly sucks now!!” I feel like the person in the reddit post would know this is severely grammatically incorrect or word it differently.

I haven't watched all of the video yet. As far as I can tell from the description, Nobita set very high requirement for a black person to be regarded as safe in Japan. If you advocate Black Lives Matter, you have toxic mindsets. That's what he claims (smh :alpacadone:). Unless his smartphone is broken and the calendar keeps pointing April 1st, he is just a plain racist

Now I remember why I hate PULL. Anyways, I won't make meander too long, since I just wanted to point out the obviousness of this degenerate echo chamber. Now, I can't entirely disagree with it having racist undertones, but no doubt any SJW mindset is toxic to any society. You also blindly accuse him of not knowing what he doesn't understand from a Japanese point of view, and you can't even step in his shoes. Ridiculous.

Aight good.  other people have noticed this racist shit too. I literally created an account specifically to discuss this. I've officially unsubscribed. Since I have an interest in the culture, I was really loving the  concept of interviewing Japanese citizens about certain hot button topics on the streets but he's been releasing this hostile anti-black bs lately and itsi appalling. I stuck around to respect and listen to his perspective on race issues but he's just a racist and raking in the feedback of other racists who excuse and applaud his one dimensional approach to incredibly complex issues. Disgusting. I'm going to spread the word on how he seems to think this shit is okay.

don't know where you got the info that Canada isn't diverse? it is very! Toronto has been named the most multicultural city in the world, not sure about most recent studies but it's definitely still in the top. Unless he went to a certain place in Canada that was not diverse, idk, i didn't even know he went in the first place lol :')  moving on I agree with everything else you said!! I can't stand this dude. It's one thing to believe bad stereotypes about other races and cultures which is common in homogenous countries like Japan but I think it's mainly due to just lack of exposure/knowledge, and I believe the majority of the population would throw away their previous thoughts if they actually got educated (e.g i have friends from different countries who thought gay people were weird and black people were scary before they came to live where i live and now they think their past thoughts are ridiculous) But Nobita is not like that.. he's just straight up racist and goes out of his way to be terrible. I can't stand this guy...he's always speaking on things that aren't his place to speak on

Maybe he visited Vancouver which doesn't have many black people (we make up about 3% of the population) however that still shouldn't have done much to make him scared of black people since you barely see any in Vancouver and when you do they're quite nice. So I have to agree he's just racist since most of my Japanese threw away a lot of their stereotypes that they had about black people, Indian people, etc when they came to Vancouver so I'm pretty sure he's trying to justify his racism; something most racist people do tbh.
