    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

is it weird that i think those kids were put there by someone way older just in case they get caught? cause i honestly wouldn't put it past people. I am so tired and so mad because of shit like this, but i hope the fact that we even get to hear about this publicly means some sort of tiny improvement. Hope we live to see people like this get what they deserve.

THIS! I can maybe accept the fact that kids can do something like this but to do it on their own on such a big scale is weird and hard. How were they capable?

Can't some hack the chat or something to leak the names online?! At least the celebrities?!

i'll never understand why they make group chats and send non-consent pornography (even child pornography ew)...

like literally they can just go to any porn site and watch pornography there ,

why do they like non-consent pictures so much?

The first chat wasnt just like that. It was kind of a sexual slavery and the owner (someone that called himself doctor) blackmailed ppl to do whatever he says.

It’s not about things you can find everywhere on the web

Isn't porn illegal in Korea?

I don't think this is about porn. R*pe is about control for these sick bastards.

I've read quite a few articles about the Nth room and I find it so chilling that there isn't even ONE mention of remorse or apologetic feelings towards the victims. It's all 'what will happen to me' 'my privacy must be respected' etc... These people are absolute psychopaths without a shred of empathy for the female victims.

South Korea is very conservative, even their sex ed classes are misogynistic; basically telling girls they have to give it up. (Creating) porn is illegal there as well and there's still stigma against it. Maybe they enjoy the thrill of taking non-consensual pictures, but a lot of it has to do with topics such as sex and porn being taboo. Restricting conversions on topics such as those makes them more curious to get their hands on it.

yeah it's illegal but no one cares. my boyfreind has an application on his computer similar to a VPN that lets him browse from china to watch porn LOL despite being illegal, like @ImmaculateReader said, it's so easy to find

but yes you're correct-- Nth room is about rape, control, and other sick shit. it's not normal porn videos that porn stars/couples we're used to in the west. it's girls being raped and filmed by Nth room 'workers', girls carving words onto themselves like 'slave' with knifes, girls inserting scissors into themself. this goes beyond porn it's just so fucked up

because, the same shit their fandom does in the name of their damn group can also lead to suicide of other people? guess it's none of their business even tho it's their fans and they let it slide by ignoring it? at least blacklist them? i am sorry, but as public figures (hell people say that about youtubers here and they got way smaller audience), you influence people, you chose this profession so take responsibility for at least part of it. Also, if ANYONE can speak up about anything, it's BTS they're large enough, their fanbase is large enough. Hell, yall wanna brag how they're larger than kpop, meanwhile, exo and winner for example DO call out their fans on the regular, vixx did so too (which is why they have one of the most respectful fandoms rn), but bts are all like we love our amiii lmao. (god forbid u lose some of that revenue huh?)

i agree SM should have done something about sulli though. Same for jonghyun, but multiple people failed both of them on all sides, sadly.

all i am saying is, bighit and bts are acting like big shots over dumbest easiest shit and it's honestly annoying at this point, especially how their fans eat it up.

This will be my last time replying to you because it’s obvious you’re in stuck in your own little bubble if you think any kpop fandom deserves the “respect” title let alone normal, don’t think BTS haven’t called out army before, and if you need someone that ain't even your mama to tell you how you need to behave with others.

Its been proven many times that calling out your own fandom doesn’t do shit, Beyoncé did it and beyhive told her to shut up and they’re just as big and wild as  armys. Exols are arguably one of the worst kpop fandoms, the amount of times EXO called them out and they still do the same toxic shit. Knets hate them, prob the most hated by them as well. Exols tried to get Chen kicked out just because he got married and having a kid. He had to apologize for being just like them, a human. Although it is funny seeing how he can apologize for getting married and “hurting” fans but couldn’t do the same when he did blackface but that’s for another day. Winner stans are racist but that’s a common trait for YG stans. I’ve heard VIXX along with exols participated with harassing BTS back when they were still small but did any of them ever call them out? No. Am I going to hold EXO or any other group accountable for the actions of their fandom? No.

Only time I will is if any group is promoting hate or anything hateful that causes stans to attack others, but they don’t most of the times. I mean, Jungkook and Jaehyun are friends yet nctzens decided to use their friendship to defame Jungkook. The point is that it's impossible to make the biggest fandoms be clean of toxicity, no matter how many times you call them out.

If one of the first responses about a company suing due to their idols getting harassed and defamed is about the fandom shows the lack of empathy you have about that certain idol. Haven’t even been a kpop fan for for 2 full years but majority of them are terrible, racist, and insensitive. :alpacadone:

I'm sorry if this is against the rules but could I please ask you guys to put the triggering content about Nth room under a spoiler? I agree that it is an important topic and am not at all trying to censor it, but reading the details makes me feel really sick.

mate, i've been a fan till recently, them calling them out twice in the past doesn't count, now stop quoting my shit and go back to twitter to hype your favs for bare minimum. also, the fact that something is "almost impossible" doesn't give you a free pass to not try. your oppars just talk the talk and don't do shit, same as for their fake woke concept, now again, go back to twitter and stop clogging my notifications on this damn forum. your favs care about money only anyway, no need to defend them so hard :doge:

spoiler cause OT, like, this is why everyone hates your obnoxious ass fandom, damn. "i heard", miss me with that shit. they're just like the rest of kpop, but have an actual army of braindead fans who will clean up their mess cause they said love is love once top fucking kek.

i need to ask, is the punishment bigger if you get caught streaming/watching regular porn than making molka cams and stuff like that? because from what I've seen online, most of the guys get off with a "slap on the wrist" for molka and even worse stuff, so I was wondering if maybe the punishment was harsher for regular porn? because i thought maybe that could play into it too, considering it's far bigger hassle to make molka than just get a damn VPN and find regular porn like a normal person.

please can you go and camp on the bts thread with this amount of biased bullshit? it's embarrassing.

TW // nth room again

i believe that it's not a matter of whether porn is legal or not, we already established that's very easily accessible even via VPN so we can assume that the amount of consumption is pretty much the same as anywhere else. I feel like porn normalized a LOT of stuff that wasn't supposed to be normalized and now people don't get the thrill of watching something ""taboo"" anymore, so they look for the same thrill somewhere else. I don't want a 20+ y.o acting like a 14 y.o, I want a real teen!! etc, which might be the reason why 'amateurs' is one of the most browsed categories and it's filled with sex trafficking victims. I don't know enough English to express how much i find the nth room situation disgusting but that whole deal was also waaaay more than just porn, i mean weren't there also girls who were asked to cut themselves or mutilated themselves? or enslaved?

I'm extremely tired of this sort of news, It happens everywhere and every day around the globe, it's not just Korea. The number of people forced in sex trafficking is worrying and nobody bats an eye.

@vader_chan jfc do you have any other hobbies besides shitting on a kpop group??? literally every time I see your posts it’s bashing bts and taking it to the extreme when people comment saying they like or defend them, we get it you hate them that’s fine whatever you don’t have to like them but how about something new for once. if you hate them so much stop giving them so much attention and your time energy views streams etc, just ignore them and the comments praising them and move on that’s what I and most people do. youre the one being obnoxious at this point.

5God this ongoing debate on whether Bighit is right or not to sue a child is getting annoying. Sure, the child is in the wrong to be spreading malicious rumors, bighit is in the right to take action against these rumors, but this doesnt warrant grown ass adults calling the kid a demon and demanding that she gets locked up or have her life ruined lol. Children are easily impressionable and prone to doing evil shit without fully understanding the effects of their actions, especially when their parents or guardians don't take care to socialise them properly, which is most likely the case here. If the lawyers of Bighit arent complete assholes, they'll come to a compromise with the parents and that'll be it. Also can yall please stop comparing an 11 year old being a dipshit to kpop idols on the internet to a 12 year old participating in a snuff film ring? The only thing these cases have in common is that these kids have not been raised properly yet I'm seeing people treat the shit they've done with the same weight and that's absolutely demented lol

this was my entire damn point, thanks, i wish people knew how to read. or maybe it's my bad for not being a native english speaker and this shit making sense to me but not anyone else lmao.
