I'm not sure if it's on purpose, but your pic isn't showing for me either; let me try to post it too for reference

she’s right though. and as far as pedophilia goes i think she’s probably referring to hairless vaginas and how that’s the “preference” which is weird because only pre pubescent girls have that ...

shaving the pubis is a relatively new fad (see 70's porn) that isn't not exclusive to women. a high proportion of men are "manscaping" now, but i guess this doesn't fit into the feminist narrative so it's a useless perspective.

i feel the same way about men trying to be completely hairless too. as human beings we have body hair and it serves a biological purpose. going back and reading her post now it’s definitely very extra and unnecessary to compare it to torture ..

the oppressive part is correct. girls are totally made to believe having body hair or facial hair is gross and unattractive it’s not even remotely close to the way they advertise for men’s shaving products. she’s right but for the wrong reasons since she’s being so extra about it

The thing is that it’s still not socially acceptable for women to not shave their legs and not shave their pubic hair. It’s still fine if a guy decides to not shave their pubic hair. I don’t know what percentage of men in the US shave their pubes, but for the guys I know it seems to only be like 50% of men that trim or shave down there. The men who decide not to shave don’t receive the same type of backlash as women.

I honestly think that people should just do whatever works for them, whether it’s shaving or not shaving. Regardless of social norms.

ETA: I personally shave because I hate how body hair feels on me lol

Well you heard it here first folks,if you shave you're normalizing actual fucking pedophilia according to Sarah!Like jesus man,I'm assuming the whole pedo thing is about the shaving of pubes only for my sanity,as I don't understand how me getting rid of my leg hairs is normalizing pedophilia. But even with that in mind this whole post is so extra lmao.Like yes, women are usually expected to shave, and yes it sucks because if a woman doesn't want to shave she shouldn't feel the need to just because it's deemed more socially acceptable. But believe it or not, there are some women who prefer to shave, some feel more comfortable this way and some even prefer to shave as they themselves find it more attractive to look at and it boosts self confidence.God I read this whole thread today and saw this and felt the need to rant sorry guys.I've also been awake all night so sorry for any errors I made lmao.

Usually Sarah’s rants are super fake deep and borderline nonsensical, but I feel like she is making a really good point this time.

(OT cause it’s about me personally and a slight rant)

I wear a 34G (US sizing) bra so I can really relate to what Sarah is saying. I developed boobs at the age of 11 and I’ve been criticized and called a slut/whore/skank/etc as a CHILD for wearing clothes that showed the slightest amount of cleavage. These were the same clothes my classmates were wearing. They did not receive these types of comments. As an adult, I do everything I can to cover up to avoid comments, but sometimes more modest clothes (like sweaters) will only emphasize how big my chest is. Strangers will often stare at my chest, make snide remarks, and sometimes even try to touch me in public. I didn’t ask for my boob size and I shouldn’t have to drastically alter my behavior and clothes just to be left alone in public. I just want to wear a tank top in the summer in peace. Please stop assuming a woman is a slut or easy or whatever just because she has big boobs.

Tbh though her photos were always very sexual. It is obvious that a lot of the photos she takes are to emphasise her chest in a sexual manner. Sure, comments sexualising boobs when they're not meant to be sexualised are gross. I have the same issue where I feel uncomfortable in low cut tops. But tbh she is reaching because her profile is revolved around her sexuality so people will comment on it. It would be inappropriate in an actual social setting, but her boobs are the intentional focus in many of her pics. No problem with that, but she can't then complain that people comment on it.

And tbh if you view her candids her boobs aren't big at all.

Her candid boobs aren’t even that big? Even in the post’s picture she’s purposely angling and squishing them to make it look bigger. Her breast shape is kind of tear drop like (empty on the top full at the bottom), so unless you try really hard to pose yourself and/or wear extreme push up bras (like she does in every pic), 32B is not gonna cause such problems compared to larger sized breasts.

Majority of her profile is based on sexual things. I agree with the overall message, but the whole post seems very ingenuine considering that she goes out of her way to profit from this over-sexualizing she complains about.

Exactly. Her message is good, but she is speaking bs because she actually would be considered small chested if she was not pushing her arms together so much lol. Anything for a self-important, "feminist" message I suppose.

Not to whiteknight but I think her point is more that she doesn't always want to be sexualized and that there are moments when she really isn't trying to be sexual but will be objectified anyway. While I agree she does try to capitalize on her sexuality, I don't think it's fair to say "Well you're always trying to be sexy, so that'll always be your image. Deal with it." I think that kind of response flirts with slut-shaming.

I will say it's pretty confusing given that it does look like her breasts are relatively small. So if she's just trying to co-opt the big boob struggle for clout, that's annoying, but I do overall agree with her message.

agreed. and for someone who usually doesn’t agree with sarah i think she’s right on this matter. whether she capitalizes off her sexuality or not is irrelevant imo. of course she wants to have moments in her life when she isn’t viewed as a sexual object. and that girl who thought she was calling her out made a complete ass of herself. women always have been sexualized for their chests whether they’re whopping DDs or average Bs. i would definitely think it’s worse for women with larger breasts though. she literally proved her point by attacking her for posting a conpletely non sexual picture. she never even compared it to sexual harassment, and the girl just proceeded to call her a whore two times for talking about her boobs.

i guess my point is there’s nothing inherently sexual about bodies so i see where sarah is coming from
