Yeah but some don't have to be flat out dicks to the fans. They are the ones who give good celebs a bad name

True but the ones who ddont aren't even rude. One i follow flat out said that she doesn't like to be touched and isn't a hugger. She still takes pics and everything, but her hardcore fans flew into a frothy mouthed rage over it.

People go on and on about respecting others space and not making them uncomfortable until a celeb requests this, then they're going on rants about how they're obligated to physically touch them bc they support them.

Those are the entitled fans. They think that just because some one is famous that they are "owed" the right to touch the person.

"You are famous so you should be use to fans touching you!!! how dare you deny me my right to invate your personal space!!!!"

Then they wonder why the are surrounded by a fuck ton of bodyguards

it’s literally just a diet though. That one user here was so pressed about veganism for no reason at all. There’s shitty vegans but there’s also shitty meat eaters too and no one wants to acknowledge that. It’s literally just food and I don’t get how people can get so angry over someone choosing not to eat meat and diary when the meat industry is so awful. I don’t know why people defend it, especially since there’s other more ethical options for meat and dairy but people still defend the meat industry to death for whatever reason. A vegan can’t exist without tons of people shaming them

Eh, I say live and let live. I think the problem happens with the massive commercialism of any industry. The avocado industry drove local farmers off their own lands and is siphoning ground water from the surrounding areas. Large plantations (bananas, palm oil, etc.) are responsible for hundreds of acres of deforestation and pollution. The list could go on. Not defending either side, just saying mass commercialization is a huge contributor.

The fat acceptance movement disgusts me to no end. As someone who used to be a chubby child and got teased/bullied to hell and back for it, who tried to give herself eating disorders throughout her youth so she could be thinner, and who to this day struggles with body dysmorphia and self-image insecurities, I want to tell them so badly to shut the fuck up. There's a HUGE difference between having legitimate health issues that make losing/maintaining weight difficult (I would know, I have PCOS) and those who don't care enough about themselves to try and eat right or exercise a little. It pisses me off that a movement that started out with such good intentions--i.e. the body positivity movement--could be warped into something that condones obesity and spreads this false notion that you're beautiful at any size, and that anyone who tells you that you're unhealthy is just a hater.

Like, I get it, weight loss isn't easy. I've had to focus on losing weight and being more active in order to deal with my health concerns, and if you think a day goes by that I don't want to just give up, you're wrong. But moderation's the key. When I screw up my diet, I try again and handle setbacks in stride. If I miss the gym because I absolutely have to, I go the next day and don't beat myself up over it. But you have to want to be healthier. Encouraging people who are obese not to change is helping no one. All you're doing is telling them not to trust their doctors who tell them the obvious, that their weight is negatively impacting their health, and lying to them by suggesting that they're healthy and beautiful regardless of size. I'm sorry, but unless you've got a fetish for 600+ pounds of fat and an assload of health problems, it's very hard to find someone who can look at that and think it's attractive. Harsh reality.

Everytime I watch a new p5 video there's always that one comment that causes an argument about which name is better: Akira or Ren and it's like-

You do realize when you play the game, you can name him whatever you want right? So why is this even still an issue.

Only pet account i can stomach is smoothie the cat. She's a beautiful cat, probably one of the prettiest I've laid eyes on (next to my cat ofc) but i also like that its strictly a legitimate pet page. Her owner never advertises himself and does leave some interactive comments/questions related to pet owners.

aside from that, i mostly hate pet insta pages. Its like a direct clout grab for their owners

I find Shallon Laster entertaining and agree on many things alhough she's almost a 3rd wave feminist. But her fanbase makes me lose faith in humanity. It's filled with first world country frustrated women who think that they're the most oppressed because their family asks them about settling up, having a kid and that people judge women for being sluts. At least they have a choice compared to women in you know what countries. News flash: men also have societal expectations pushed on them to be a Chad, have a car, be more successful than his wife, be older than his wife, have money, be the head of the family etc. It's called civilization and just because you don't fit into expectations it doesn't mean those expectations are bad.

I always get so frustrated by women who talk about being oppressed because their family judges their choices--the whole "when you getting married/having kids" questions have always existed, it's a topic of conversation. I get asked if I have a boyfriend at Thanksgiving dinner, but do I cry that our society doesn't respect single women? No. I just admit I'm more focused on academics (plus the guys I've dated generally don't want the same things I want). That's it. If someone tried to give me flack about it, I shut it down, because I have a backbone and don't give a shit about offending Auntie Karen with my life choices. People need to learn to stop giving a damn about what other people say or think. Hell, I do it all the time--I'm an English major who wants to be an author, so you can imagine the shit relatives tell me about my career options. But at this point I don't care, I grew a pair and told them it's my life, I know what I'm doing and if I want your help or opinion, I'll ask. The same should apply to anything family (or anyone else) throw at you. Tell them it's your life, and if they don't like it they can shove their opinions where the sun don't shine.
