We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.

Characters who have good intentions and want to make the world a better place but still kill tons of people while doing it are still villians.

I’d say it’s unpopular since pull is an unpopular website imo. There also seems to be a lot of toxic forums on Reddit such as mgtow and the now banned r/incels. Also the moderators seem to care more on this website then on Reddit. No idea about lol cow though, since the only lol cow I really know of is yandere dev.

I agree, i only followed one thread on lolcow and the users are literally super rude to new commers and anons. The mods hardly do anything about it either. Reddit threads become a huge shit storm, i don't follow many threads but the ones i saw were so overly biased and toxic.

Reddit sucks. It's such a circlejerk. Almost everyone there has the same high intellectual, quipping, hive mind reddit personality. A bunch of robots who can't think for themselves. Especially the front page subreddits, god those suck. It's almost like social media in Reddit format. Most reddit mods are lazy and biased too.

Just look at r/unpopularopinion.  They will massively downvote a legit unpopular opinion and will argue with u. And then they complain why most of the posts are 'popular' unpopular opinion zzz. Oh and r/politics too.

- Doki Doki Litterature Club wasn't that good imo, or at least I didn't get the hype around it. None of the characters are really likeable (even after Monika admitted she orchestrated the whole thing) but the MC you're supposed to self-insert acted like an ass tbh. The pacing is bad, I didn't find his confession to Sayori sincere because just an hour before that scene, I was at the beginning of the game where it opens on the MC going to wake up Sayori, thinking she's supeeeeeeer annoying and how he doesn't want her around. And he keeps that mindset for a few more days at their club activities. Self-inserts are usually neutral so that you can shape their personality based on your own choices, but the guy started off really mean and that threw me off about him. Natsuki was meh and Yuri's scene was a drag to go through.

- I don't understand how some people enjoy listening to Nightcore, how can you even bear listening to what sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

okay this freaked me out bc i was literally thinking about posting abt this game this morning but yea, i think it's super overhyped for such an overdone concept. it's not deep at all, and a ton of youtubers act like it's the first anime that "disguises" "horror" as slice of life.

To be fare Higurashi no naku koro ni did it first the Visual novel (and the anime not counting the dub if you are counting the anime) but DDLC just improved on a few things and made it more of a modern concept for many.

I've been thinking this for a long time but I feel like the fans would come at me because it's so deep and different!1!! when plenty of animes and games had a similar concept and were executed better than Doki Doki. I was shocked at the number of people that thought it was worthy to be nominated as Game of the Year 2017 :feelgood:

- Nothing personally against anyone, but people should be prepared for the worst if they're going to send their nude photos to someone. It's not really smart to do, and could became blackmail or even cost you a job one day, you never know.

In highschool: "NEVER SEND NUDES TO ANYONE DON'T DO IT KIDS!!!!!"

Out of highschool: Everyone does it and it's the most normal thing ever. It felt like a culture shock to me honestly lmao. I get when you're in a relationship you trust each other but honestly if I was in a relationship and they would ask me for nudes I would be disgusted. It's just super gross to me to ask for something like that i dunno why. I'm not shaming anyone that does it do you but be safe. I personally think it's not worth the risk besides it being annoying to take a picture like that, just fuck with eachother when you're horny. What happened to sexy phonecalls? Much more intimate.

Ok, PULL unpopular opinion: I hate when people who aren't mods police the threads and make a post saying that people are derailing the thread. Like, you're already derailing the thread by posting something. Just contact a mod if you think it's getting out of hand. Jesus.

I always thought they told us not to do it in high school because that's technically creating and distributing child pornography. And then when you graduate everyone's 18 so then it's just regular porn, lol.

Yeahhhhh I’m going to disagree with you. While it may be annoying, it’s even more annoying to have thread dedicated to one thing be changed to another topic.

Yeah, y'all are free to disagree with me; it's an unpopular opinion after all!! But I just find that often when people make the "you're derailing!" posts people respond angrily to it and then it spirals into MORE derailing :alpacaworry: IDK, this is just what I've seen on PULL since another unpopular PULL opinion: some people here take everything so personally and attack other people for no reason.

I agree with you, but only in theory — the problem is that the mods give a firm but polite warning when things are getting too OT, whereas random users like to go on power trips and redtext or scream in all caps when the thread has been discussing a topic they don’t find interesting, or when they think someone has broken a rule (even if they haven’t). It’s especially bad in the Kenna thread where nobody and I mean n o b o d y spoilers their irrelevant personal blogposts that have absolutely nothing to do with Kenna, which results in a bunch of infighting and people telling each other to shut up over crimes that both of them are guilty of. It’s just not a good idea to let the threads manage themselves.
