    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.
    • Reputation Has Increased!   07/06/20

Hello. You have been asking for it and it is finally here. We have increased the number of reputation given in a day from 25 to 50. We will see how well 50 works out and if that is enough. Please continue to provide feedback and we will reevaluate as needed. This change has been added to the site changes thread located here. Happy repping. Thank you.

Am I the only one tired of matte lipstick?? It seems so basic to me now and plus I hate wearing it because it feels like my lips are gonna crack off and blow away in the wind lol. I think glossy lips look waaaay cuter

Matte lips wouldn't be so annoying if people wouldn't take it so far, like crumbly ugly liquid lipsticks type of lips with harsh ass lip liner is a no

I think glossy lips are really cute and matte lipsticks are ok but they dry the hell out of my lips like the Colourpop ones

No way. Glossy=coming off on everything and sticky as hell.

I'm glad matte is in right now, it looks so much better and it's everything proof.

I like gloss but I hate that it sticks to my hair UGH

Matte is long lasting but it's really dry

I use both. A matte lipstick stays on all day, but I put a gloss on top and touch up when needed because I don't want my lips to be a desert.

Matte is okay, if you know how to use it properly.

As long as you put on lip balm first, it shouldn't be crumbly and crackly. If it is, then it's most likely the companies formula.

Than again, different lip thingies fit different perps.

I actually love Matte lol it seems so natural to me. Maybe if you looked at different brands? I have some matte lipsticks that are really buttery and still give you that matte look.

Maybe I just like it cuz I like oldies stuff... lol

I used to be a huge fan of matte finishes. I'm not sure why, but my interest in matte finishes went down with time and nowadays I kind of avoid matte altogether, and it's not because I don't think my lips are up to it. It's just... I just have little to no interest in matte lips anymore. Maybe someone can convince me otherwise :Alpacaconfused:

I do dislike the stickiness of lip glosses though. I'm not sure about this, but I think it should be possible to do a glossy-ish lip without lip gloss though. Some brands have lip products with glossy finishes that feel more like chapstick than lip gloss on the lips.

i feel like gloss is gooey as hell compare to matte, although i found some great glosses that go on matte, have fairly lasting color, and far less gooey than straight up gloss, which has almost always made my lips feel a bit slimy.

I like both, matte and glossy. I usually use clear glosses when I use lip stains and when I use matte I use a lip balm and then I put on the matte. Plus I'm fine with glossy lips because I have short hair and my hair doesn't reach my lips :hoplz:

I like the both too ^^ it depends by the way that i wear my makeup ,sometimes with a gloss it's better and with the matte lipstick it's better. The inconvienient of the gloss is that it's sticky (not all but currently) and the matte make the skin of the lips dry sometimes for me but the both are great

A  lipstick half matte and half glossy doesn't exist ?????? lol
