    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

his nose contour isnt the best and it feels like he always does the same makeup look but can't really blame him on the light foundations bc he lives in korea and foundations,bb creams, cushions etc come in like 2-3 shades with few brand exceptions, i'm pretty sure he always tries to pick out the darkest ones aswell and yeah he could be wearing other type of makeup with darker shades but if he likes it then :alpacaworry:

you can get all kinds of brands in korea, including american ones. i understand shades not matching him if he's reviewing cushions and the darkest is still too light for him, but he can easily buy the correct shade of foundation or make his own cushion for everyday use. perhaps they're more pricey, but korean brands like etude house have wider ranges too without being mad expensive. maybe he's just trying to get his money's worth after buying all of these cushions though lol.

Just discovered this guy last week when searching for reviews on some Korean contact lenses I wanted to buy. I really liked him and subscribed straight away because I thought he was cute and funny and I liked his personality. I dig his slightly bitchy vibe to be honest, it doesn't seem mean-spirited to me, just kinda 'sassy'. Unconfirmed but I'm pretty sure he's a big fan of Rupaul's Drag Race just judging from the language he uses, I think if you watch that as religiously as me you become desensitized to that kind of slightly bitchy gay humour lol. It's not meant maliciously in my opinion. He seems decently good at makeup as well. His feature length posey intros to his makeup videos are somehow simultaneously cringey and self-aware, which balances it out for me :D

I'm starting to like his videos more and more. i'm personally not really into his makeup tutorials but his vlogs are really well done and enjoyable. his personality is funny without it being overdone.

I'm starting to enjoy his vlogs again, too. Not that I think I like him any more or less, but his content is becoming more enjoyable.

I understand that for some people it looks good and better than the original but all that skin whitening he does makes him look ashy to me. Not really my cup of tea

I like him but I've never enjoyed watching the tutorials. I subscribed for the vlogs. I've never gotten the impression that he'd be the bitchiest of a group. He's got sass but I don't think he's malicious.

I really enjoy his vlogs & I find his past vlogs about how he got to Korea really interesting. I was happy when I found out he is Filipino bc I'm half-Filipino, but I feel like he's no longer as culturally tied to his ethnicity (?) like my mom is an immigrant but she never really taught me anything/spoke about the Philippines bc she wanted to assimilate & it's not really a source of pride for her, but I enjoy seeing Filipinos succeed despite not knowing much about my own culture.

I don't really watch his makeup tutorials bc they're all essentially the same thing & I can't fault him for that bc male idol makeup isn't that varied anyways, but I do agree that regardless his makeup skills are pretty average. Has anyone watched him on beauty beasts tho?

I like how open he is about his skin troubles/whitening tho & I am usually interested in his product reviews. Imo he's relatively tame & I hope he stays that way, & doesn't go down the path of "I live in Korea & I'm basically Korean now" snowflake biz

I just really hate how he blames the lightning when people call him out on the too light foundation.

cmon when people guests on your channel, they look perfectly fine. just choose a bb-cream/foundation that fits you better

I personally don't like his vlogs so I don't watch them anymore. i only caught a few because I prefer Joankeem so I tried watching his vlogs. Similar to many of you here, I think his foundation/bb cream or whatever he is wearing on his face is just too thick and pale for him. He seems to be quite popular. With that money he should've went for some facial. Another thing is... His voice is... Idk too deep or something? Basically not the most pleasant sounding.

Omg, I love Edward and I'm glad the only criticism people have about him is that his foundation is too light lmao.

'wish he would focus on improving his skin first' Okay firstly wtf? Just because someone has acne doesn't suddenly mean their negligent on skin care sweetie, if anything it means they're more experienced as trying to cure acne is no weekend job. He's also posted skin care videos and his skin has dramatically improved since his older vids! If you're going to be shady at least do your research hunty. From what I see in his videos he's a nice guy, his sassiness isn't over the top and in all honesty i really like his content. The whole foundation thing (which he's stated a few times) is due to the fact foundation in SK is only a range of light shades and that is all that is available to him. Not his fault, nothing to be salty over and it definitely ain't an insecurity issue.

edward isn't even that dark skinned so it would be pretty easy for him to get foundation his own skin color, he just chooses not to. i've seen plenty of korean youtubers who have darker skin than him and they still manage to find products that match their skin tone lol. he definitely has some kind of insecurity issues or else he wouldn't actively be whitening his skin (which he's made videos about in the past).
