    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.
    • Reputation Has Increased!   07/06/20

Hello. You have been asking for it and it is finally here. We have increased the number of reputation given in a day from 25 to 50. We will see how well 50 works out and if that is enough. Please continue to provide feedback and we will reevaluate as needed. This change has been added to the site changes thread located here. Happy repping. Thank you.

Megumi's mom looks like she's walking around in a silky nightgown. No surprise for Alex.

Did anyone hear about the new COPPA changes rolling out on Youtube on Dec 1st? How anything that might "appeal to children" is now under scrutiny and possibly subjected to massive fines? Basically, if the content might appeal to children in any way, the Youtuber will have to flag it in the system starting in December, then in January 2020, those videos will lose personalized ads (but not contextual)--which, of course, will massively effect the revenue the Youtuber brings in (anywhere from 60-90% of a Youtuber's ad revenue is personal ads). If the Youtuber doesn't and is deemed to have content attractive to children, that's when the massive fines begin per video. And not only that, the videos with child-friendly content will also lose comments, notifications, user end abilities to save and watch later etc.

A lot of it comes from the fact Youtube wasn't following COPPA as well as it should have (plus those under 13 lie about their ages to make accounts).

Now, we all know Alex claims his shit "ain't for kids" despite that being his prime demographic. I wonder how hard it'll hit him when all of his videos are effectively demonetized and/or he gets faced with massive fines for making content that markets itself towards kids.

That would be a most glorious day!

Although that would give him an excuse to quit making YS. "Due to Youtube's new COPPA I no longer make enough to continue making YS. HOWEVER, I will be making a new game called Alex Fetish Simulator. Same concept but for adults"

COPPA will go by a case by case basis regarding content like animation or gaming depending on what the subject matter is and whether the intended audience is for children.

Alex's """intended audience""" is adults in his eyes, but everyone knows that his largest audience is the ever-changing age groups of 12-15 years old. I wonder if he'll explicitly say that his videos are "all adult" and that "no kids allowed" is his new rule, which will cost him 80% or more of his audience, or if he'll cut corners and quickly take down and censor/edit any videos with graphic violence so he can say it is "kid friendly" so he doesn't lose that attention and praise he's so starved for (from teenagers, no less...).

Knowing Alex, he'll do something similar to the former. That or he'll quit YouTube entirely and heckle his kid audience into giving to his Patreon because "YouTube Hates YanSim just like Twitch! So unfair! I'm being oppressed!"

The problem with the COPPA update is that it goes as far to say "attractive to kids." So if the thumbnail or title or animation or whatever looks like it's something kids might click on, then it falls under "children's content" and is either demonetized or subjected to fines. Since Alex went with an uber pink, anime, tween-y palatte, his would definitely look like something children would click on.

Which means he either has to lose most of the ad support. (Pop the popcorn, the widging out will be great!) Or he'll have to deal with fines. (Pop the popcorn, the widging out is gonna be great!) Or he'll get his channel forcibly slapped as a "kid's channel" and he'll whine all over the place. (Whichever way, pass the popcorn!)

Deny it all he wants, his actual audience is kids. I can see him try to increase the gore and sexual content to avoid losing personalized ads--but then he winds up losing more of his audience and never getting unbanned from Twitch. TBH though, I don't see why he doesn't revel in making his game a horrific slaughter fest specifically to get an 18+ rating--he could totally use the Twitch ban as a PR move, "Hell YEAH! My game is so wicked it's banned from Twitch! Don't let your kids near it, parents! Now, what other blood and guts thing can I add to get myself banned from somewhere else! Fuck yeah! Gonna take it to the extreme and make this game as offensive as possible!" It probably would drive away some of the younger crowd, and the more squeamish, and attract some of the intended audience. He might even be able to get away with some of the mafia stuff too just by making it so ridiculously over the top. (I mean, it is disconcerting that he seems to want to hold onto his underage audience--we'll see how true that holds when COPPA kicks in.)

it really took his stupid ass a few seconds to help her while she's choking and the moment he gets up to help her she's already dead

Hell he just takes his sweet time to just watch her while she constantly gasps for air all over the place then he asks her if she's okay when she takes her last breath

I laugh at this because Alex still be looking for relevance apparently if he is finding a vid with not that many views compared to Bijuu and Jay. Lol.
