Now that more mainstream media and news outlets are acknowledging this, maybe Youtube will step in and finally delete his ass? Maybe it's too much to hope for, but one can dream!

Too late. We see where their morals stand. If they gave in now, after YEARS of being asked to get rid of him, it shows they only care when there’s a bit of actual heat on them.

Edit to explain more: Not saying I don’t want them to get rid of him still. PLEASE do it anyway. However, the intentions behind it will be and are very clear.

Yeah, I'm only laying it out there because of Youtube being very opposed to bad PR, nothing more.

Him losing even just one of his channels would be a HUGE blow to his ego, and his platform. Greg is nothing without his audience, that's why he's taking this patreon thing so hard. Now just imagine how he would react  if he los his main channel. Deplatforming is the only thing (aside from legal consequences) that terrifies him because his audience is his only weapon against public opinion killing his career off once and for all.

I guess he's taking the patreon thing so hard because it's basically his whole income. Youtube doesn't earn him enough moneyz anymore. But I agree that his ego would take the biggest blow if they'd delete his channel. All.the.hard.work.and.the.influence.on.young.girls, guys.

YouTube is rolling out those new ToS in 2020 so rather than delete channels like Onision’s they’ll just hit them with fat fines. YouTube may  be an amoral company but since they had to pay, they’ll make people like Onision pay if he keeps it up.

That's almost worse because you know greg would just whine and beg others to pay for it in the end. I'd rather him just disappear.

Of course but when has that ever happened? Sincere question, I’m not 100% on my YouTube history. Curious if anyone ever (with at least his sub count) was unceremoniously deleted.

There have been quite a few. Specially that one cover singer who got arrested for soliciting kids.

To be perfectly honest, Greg has always been my favorite case to study when it comes to how much of a piece of utterly loathsome crap one must be and still survive on the web; from his child grooming to his smear campaigns about "people me no likeyz" to extremely sexual tweets that would be best seen on the latter pages as special mentions for 50 Shades of Grey, there is nary a single thing Greg hasn't been accused of - with or without (but very seldom) proof - and the latest discoveries should be enough alone to send this man to jail and deprive him of all of his money, no questions asked. In a system where r*pe cases of 10+ years prior get signaled and persecuted - with successes, quite often - should be a principle as to why these things that have happened in a recent past should be persecuted and acted upon instead of waiting for them to become old stories.

This said, the man is a case. I'm not here to make diagnosis but the dude is with certainty a narcissistic bag of shite and has created an hedonistic view of himself on every platform where he is the manly man in the manliest universe and has all kinds of different ethereal attributes: he is kind, sweet, divine, gentle, above the law and, more importantly, so innocent that none mistake has ever been committed by his hand. Not only that but he exposes this kind of behavior to teenagers who, as seen by Sarah, Shiloh, Billie and so forth, fall for it because he's "that cool guy on YT" when he is nothing but a forgotten clown that has done "I'm a Banana" in a yellow suit, on a tune that is not available on Spotify. Yes, you've heard it, Greg has put this ridiculous song on Spotify and is probably getting revenues from it - if it is ever played since 'meme-y music' has evolved a lot in recent times.

It's simply a wonder how someone with the baggage and accusation that Greg has on his shoulder can still survive on the net when YT celebrities get taken down or suspended for far less - even DarkSydePhil, for how shitty of a person he can be and he only is a loud mouth, got suspended for less or got his ties to Machinima cut due to racist insults.

His tone is condescending, know-it-all and spews most of the lies he says with an uttermost conviction that he is immaculate. I recently peeked at the Repzion video from his "Shane Dawson Documentary" and the tone he used there was by far the worst, stereotypical tone a slimeball could use to coerce someone gullible to believe he is just saying the truth... all the while being such a dirtbag by just stating blankly "I am saying he is all of this and compared him to a criminal, but he is also not guilty, right?". How he presented everything was just painstakingly condescending and it's just... creepy behavior all over.

Can someone tell me exactly what Greg has done that could put him in jail? I wasn't aware that grooming was illegal since it's hard to prove.I know Kai managed to get an underage girl to sent her nudes (?) so I can see why he would be in legal trouble since that's child pornography.
So far I only know of Greg having sex with girls over the age of 18 which is legal? The only illegal thing I'm aware of was the whole thing with his land.

Grooming is illegal.

And Greg has done things like take a minor across statelines to have sex. Not to mention having sex next to his kids.

Child grooming is a federal offense but unfortunately Onion is a little too careful. It appears that he hasn’t met all the requirements under the statute. The US is overall problematic when it comes to recognizing and prosecuting clear sexual offenders, let alone the ones that, like him, obsessively toe the line.
