    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

The thing is, Kenna did in fact not receive a diagnosis. She is literally undiagnosed, therefor she is self-diagnosing by calling herself autistic. She wants people to think she IS diagnosed and has been saying/acting like she is from the very beginning, but the truth is she only had a very short assessment which shouldn't be confused with having an actual diagnosis.

And IF this psychologist decided that a short assessment is totally enough for a proper diagnosis, then she's literally not even a tiny bit qualified for her job and should frankly get fired for calling Kenna "level 2 autistic".

i wonder what she would say if someone asked her about her experience in getting diagnosed? going on the fact that it can be an extremely long process, not just something you can walk into a therapist's office and leave in an hour knowing.

Does she still have the video up? I have no idea if she says anything about how long it was there but that'd be the first place I'd check.

all i noticed in the video was her saying 'so i went, i got evaluated, and this is the diagnoses" but i did notice that in the video of the diagnoses she wouldn't look at the camera for more than a few seconds, which is a normal thing for people with autism, eye contact is usually hard to make, but before the video,,,, she had no problem making eye contact with the camera.

The thing that I remember from the video is that she said she had a like 3 hour consultation and that was it. I also find it weird that she labels herself as having Aspergers because isnt that term no long used? The video is still up.

actually i just checked and she explains it in the description that her and many autistic individuals still refer to it as aspergers... but the thing is according to her she apparently JUST found out at 24 to be autistic.. so why would she feel a connection to that term since she never had a diagnosis previously. I can understand having been referring to ones self before the term was thrown out so it would make sense to keep using it for ones self... but she.. didnt. 👀

also i dont wanna rewatch the video because tbh i struggle with things and ive questioned myself and when she made that video i could relate to what she was saying but then realized she just says shit to cover shit and it made me upset. So i dont wanna go back there lol

Tbh Gryffindor is full of people striving for success and sometimes pretty egoistical at that to boast with their success afterwards (see Quidditch and them being pissed about losing every time), so she would fit into that, but Gryffindors are working honestly for their success, so she might just be that foul egg that every year has 😆

Why does she only claim to value freedom so much now that there's the lockdown 🤦‍♀️

It's not like anything has really changed for her since she never left the house anyway

I had a look at her therapist. She did study Clinical Psychology, but so did I and I know, that this alone doesn't make me a therapist. I don't know how it exactly works in the US. But after studying Psychology one normally has to have years of specific training/an apprenticeship and/or have a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

(Sorry for double posting!)

It's even weirder when you consider that in her recent story q&a she claimed that she went to a PSYCHIATRIST. Which is not the same thing as a psychologist at all (psychiatrists have to have studied medicine). I know people mix up the two sometimes but that's usually just when they haven't been to / been diagnosed by one of them. Sounds odd to me.

But after studying Psychology one normally has to have years of specific training/an apprenticeship and/or have a PhD in Clinical Psychology. The therapist Kenna went to got her Master's and then went pretty much straight to Japan. Like, I can't super confidently speak for the US, but in Europe you are only allowed to do general counseling, that is specifically NOT therapy and you may supervise clients taking assessments and other tests, but with a master degree alone you are not allowed to diagnose or offer therapy. Maybe the US is less strict and so is Japan, but the woman Kenna went to seems wildly unexperienced and it really seems like Kenna only got an assessment, not a real diagnosis. Heck, my therapist, who is a specialist in adhd in adults with decades of experience was pretty sure I had adhd after our first consultation (but didn't tell me this of course until the final diagnosis to prevent possible bias), but we still did all required sessions and tests.

I wonder if she went for counseling either because she was so unhappy and anxious with her stay in Japan or if she wanted some kind of diagnosis to aid her in language school/student visa or any other job or visa related thing. Something like "Oh, you have to lower the requirements for me, because I have X and here is a piece of paper from a professional to prove it". This could also explain why Kenna insisted first on being "level 2", because it requires assistent in daily life, proving that she might not be able to fulfill certain requirements for school/visa so she can get special treatment.

You can’t run the exams to diagnose ASD without a medical degree, a masters in social work couple with a masters in behaviour analysis, or a PhD in psychology. The woman in Japan has none of these qualifications.

I've noticed a few people asking about it under her posts. Some of them where looking for some advice because they thought they could be somewhere in the spectrum but she always deleted those comments

(I'm sorry, I never made a screenshot of said comments because she never replied and j didn't thought it could be relevant)

the most damning piece of evidence we have that kenna is faking it for attention is that in her original vid she had in the description she was ASD Level Two, and she has since gone back and removed the Level Two label. That is very suspicious and calls the entire assessment into question.

We already have an entire thread about the questionable shit she says and does about ASD, including bullying real actual autistic fans of hers so I’m gonna go into it too deeply, but heres a link to the screenshots:

Could someone please add this snippet in the summary? It can be under speculation.
