    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

You can only engage in pedo pandering if you yourself think children are sexually desirable.

Most women are victim to this one way or another. The pandering to pedo's part I mean. Now most of women don't neccesarily want to look like children, but most are very afraid of aging and we try to stop that as soon as possible. Most of them will still wear school skirts in their 20s etc.. That really has nothing to do with their own sexuality, it's just the expectation of women. Seeing how Venus is in a country where girls who look VERY young are desired even more, this behavior may not be too strange. But yeah in Venus' case it still strikes me as odd cause she isn't actually Japanese and never grew up within their culture and beliefs.. I think her mom may have brainwashed her. I believe Venus once said that her mom told her that older men like young hot girls or something like that.

It's problematic because Venus has a significant number of fans who are young and innocent, literally under 13s who enjoy her kawaii persona and videos about cosplay/DIY/food. Just by casually posting about OF, she's normalizing the idea that paying for nudes is a common business model and acceptable career choice. Kids absorb whatever their favorite influencers say and many may well believe that OF is a normal platform alongside Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, Patreon etc. OF is a very niche platform with a very specific target market. It might be profitable for the creators and enjoyable for the users but it's not by any means a "mainstream" app.

If I had kids I would hit the roof if I found out they followed Venus and reading all her captions about OF, why she feels posting naked pictures is ok, befriending a pedophile etc. I believe that kids should absolutely be aware that pedophilia, female exploitation, abuse exist in the world however it's an entirely different thing seeing those topics being excused and normalised by a formerly wholesome influencer. The Youtuber Glitterforever17 had a similar fall from grace a few years ago after posting controversial videos on her channel with lots of young fans (she got famous with DIYs, life hacks and other kid friendly content). However Glitterforever17 managed to get things back under control with apologies, starting a new channel with 18+ content, no longer posting on her old channel (3M subs) and clearly stating that her content is no longer intended for children.

Venus needs to do the same and stop exposing her younger followers to inappropriate content because she's addicted to the validation from her fans.

sorry but no normal person would follow almost-nude models who pose as children?? only paedos like that stuff, weebs are well known for liking "lolis" and all that. normal people find that stuff creepy.

and yes, many people here blindly believe everything she says, she always acts like she's the victim in every thing that happens and personally i don't believe it.

i think she's very manipulative, I mean her mom is like that, it's not hard to believe lol

If I've learned a truth about men, it's that they will follow these underage looking models without even thinking that it's wrong. I'm generalising of course, but also those underage looking gravure models are usually Japanese, a country where peodphilic material is easily available and normalised.

Men will sexualised anything, get off to anything if they are feeling horny. I'm not saying every man is a pedophile at all, but you don't need to be a pedo to follow these models. You don't need to be a pedo to like loli hentai, you just need to be a horny guy who fancies having sexual power over a female in this case. Men like the idea of innocence and being the first everything (generally). Our society is only just starting to see and point this out as problematic behavior.

If Venus goes down this path (sex work), she will need to start being assertive. Having a look at the comment section on her OF I can see that she has a lot of scumbags following her. They're demanding things, saying "I'm paying so do this for me."  they think they can use her naivete.

If you don't set down your rules and boundaries, you will have men dangling $5 over your head and demanding you hand over everything to them. There's a clear line between being a vanilla content producer and teasing your fans as part of the service and being pushed around by jerks due to desperation and lack of knowledge, to the point where they treat you like a worthless rag. You really need thick skin and assertiveness when going down that line of work.

I have read that a sign of childhood sexual abuse is when a child is preoccupied with sex way more than the normal "where do babies come from" questions, knows a lot more than other kids, tries to insert objects in their genitals etc. So IF what she said about fantasizing about sex in kindergarten is true, then she shouldn't be brushing it off and bragging, she should be seeking mental help!

We don't know what happened, but in many cases children of single mothers with nomadic lifestyle end up abused by the mother's friend, bf, land lord etc. She always had very disturbed views on sexuality and growth despite people calling it kawaii. Even if a girl has DDLG fetish she can explore it safely and privately as an aspect of her relationship with someone also into it.

Venus is acting like being actually stunted and having naivety, arrested development etc is cute. It isn't. It can get you raped, trafficked, even killed.

Time to wake up Venus for your own good.

She's trying to play with her young audience's feelings in order they doesn't unfollow her despite her new contents. it's not very responsible. She can do anything she want as an adult but she doesn't have to impose her sexuality on minors.

I actually kind of believe her when she says she always liked sex, hentai ans other stuff.

Probably not since she was a child, but probably middle school ?

I mean growing up with the cute, innocent and prude persona is just horrible when you don't choose it. She has the right to love sex and to be open about it, and maybe it does make her feel better because she doesn't have to fake her innocence anymore.

I don't think this porn loving persona is fake.

But I do think she is going to the extreme and oversharing things with her fans (especially when there are minors following her)

Gah wtf did I just watch!? Was she high? She barely looked at the camera. First thing I thought was omg the girl actually put some makeup on and styled her fringe. Then it was how hard I found understanding her. Part of me wanted to feel good for her, I mean everyone is feeling more comfortable sharing their sexuality now and many more (especially women) are exploring personal satisfaction. If this had been anyone else I’d just be like *thumbs up* but given that this is Venus, it’s really hard to look past everything that’s happened. If she had just been honest about it from the start everyone would’ve just shrugged their shoulders. She’s gone about this all wrong especially given the fact she has minors following her. If she likes that stuff then fine but she needs to be more responsible of where she’s putting those pictures / information.

Also seriously still ending the video with the ‘boo-bye-bye-boo’ :alpacadone:

This is so sad to watch. Even her breasts look sad, there is nothing sexy about it, it's just... Well, sad. I know, it's her choice and I don't really feel sorry about her life choices or anything (whatever floats your boat), it's just something depressing to look at where you can't do anything about it except feeling down. Maybe it's just me, though. Maybe it does make her and some of her audience happy.

On lolcow they made a reference to this really, really depressing hentai "177013" or Emergence which I looked up and Oh my... It's about a girl who ends up being a homeless junkie prostitute after being introduced to sex/drugs in High School and Venus sends the same depressing vibes.

Great, another "hey guyzzz now I'm being the REAL me! Yay~", but porn version

edit: fucking hell, that video was a dumpster fire, it was so gross, she insists on the "wanted to do this since I was a child", and apparently she always wanted to take a pic looking like a "dumb slut". Real empowering

Its funny when all the jvloggers "wanted to do it" when their youtube career isn't going so well.

Like make an account all you want but do it on good terms.

Venus saying that she doesn't want a boring job, hell, nobody wants that, but there are so many jobs that allow you to express yourself creatively, I mean, isn't youtube one of those jobs? She did it for so long and successfully, she doesn't have to keep doing the same kawaii uwu content as she did as long as she's able to keep the same quality. Youtubers reinvent themselves all the time to keep relevant, it is part of the job. It really is a poor excuse to, as ChocoBunny said, do bare minimum effort.

Honestly, I think she should leave Japan and move somewhere else, stay away from the internet for awhile and get some better mental health treatment, maybe study and get a job so she could go back in touch with reality a little more.
