    • Clarifying How To Use the Report Feature   06/29/20

Hello. I have noticed a great deal of confusion regarding how to use the report feature and what is expected regarding reports, so I am making a clarification announcement to users who may be unfamiliar with how the report feature works. Please note we have this rule regarding reports: 16.  Do report. Do not make frivolous reports (such as "I don't like this person"). Frivolous reports will result in a warning and possible ban. a. When reporting, please give a reason. Reports citing what rule the post is breaking and giving some information are way more valuable and will get the issue resolved faster. (Reports with no explanations sometimes require mods to go through and skim the entire thread to find out what's going on. Please save us time if you can). b. Don’t waste the mods’ time. Report people for breaking the rules, otherwise don’t report. [Rules in their entirety can be found here.] We also have a wonderful tutorial on how to use the report feature created by one of our former moderators which you can find here. In essence, we enforce the rules as they are written. In a rare occasion there may not be a direct violation but the user is still conducting themselves inappropriately and how we handle that is up to the moderators discretion. We do our best. We also encourage you to use the report feature to report posts that have been edited down to nothing or if you double posted and would like your double post hidden. Also, please note that we do not provide updates on reports. We get far too many to be able to keep up with every one. You are welcome to message a moderator to ask about your report, but please know that we cannot and will not divulge any information on whether we banned the user you are reporting. Simply that we have taken appropriate action. I hope this helps provide further clarification on how to use the report feature. Should you have any questions not clear in these instructions, please feel free to message me or Nyx. Thank you. *Please allow up to 3 business days (as we tend to be slower on weekends) for a response and for reports to be cleared.

kinda OT because all this talk about what is considered dog abuse has me a little worried

I have a chihuahua (actually adopted, unlike Julia's) and she is a completely inside kinda dog. she does enjoy going out, but for the most part she lies around wherever I am at home. we also live in an apartment (albeit a larger one) and have a terrace but it has no grass since we're on the third floor. her bathroom is in that terrace. I've never thought of my dog as abused; she's healthy (aside from a swollen lacrimal that we're going to operate as soon as the quarantine is over) and happy from what I can tell. she enjoys sleeping next to me or laying out in the terrace under the sun. I'm not defending julia at all; I honestly don't entirely understand the situation with her dog since there's so many updates on this thread but I do think dogs can be happy without going outside much. or at least I hope so :/

I agree with what you said. Maybe I should have specified that I meant people who start in a vulnerable position AND people who are made vulnerable once they are deep into the relationship by their abusive partners. Both examples are what I meant. I know how manipulative people operate, they don't do their tricks so obvious, it might take long until they turn a normal person into a ball of doubts and insecurity.

I'm honestly a bit curious on how they work. Is Eileen really manipulative towards Julia, or are they just two toxic people who happened to find each other? I get creep-vibes from Eileen though, and I've seen how much Julia has changed since they became a thing. Maybe even before that, since it does look like Julia cheated on Maria with Eileen. Ugh. And then there's the story of Eileen crashing Julia's rehersal with her class and making Julia cry. That doesn't sound healthy at all.

I think you're ok, I mean you're not selling merch  with a plagiarized image of a dog on it, you're not lying (presumably) about where the dog came from, you're not treating the dog like a fashion accessory (as far as I can tell), hopefully you're not dressing the dog in clothes unnecessarily, you're not causing your dog to have behavioural issues by spending every waking hour with him or her and from what you've said it doesn't sound like you have other pets with behavioural problems either.

I'm honestly a bit curious on how they work. Is Eileen really manipulative towards Julia, or are they just two toxic people who happen to find each other? I get creep-vibes from Eileen though, and I've seen how much Julia has changed since they became a thing. Maybe even before that, since it does look like Julia cheated on Maria with Eileen. Ugh. I think they're are almost as bad as each other. It's taken me a while to draw on a conclusion but the dog video really shows it. If you watch Eileen's reaction, she clearly wasn't in on the idea of pretending they had adopted a baby but she was happy to go along with it for Julia. Eileen is a criminal with a history of substance abuse. Those things are forgivable if a person demonstrates a desire to change but Eileen embraces them instead. It's clear she's probably still up to shady things with money and gets high regularly. I don't think Julia has been as influenced as much as we may think she has in relation to money and drugs. She wants to be rich and famous at any cost plus she has dabbled in them herself. Yes, Eileen is probably abusive when she is off her face. I too find her predatory but Julia goes along with it. I find Eileen worse but only narrowly. Julia is young, misguided and has a lot of psychological issues but she has the chance to turn things around. Eileen doesn't seem to care about her problems but is very aware of them.

Pure lies. No shelter here would even entertain the notion of giving a dog to people in their situation, living several floors up in block of flats.

Most shelters won’t even look at you if you don’t have a garden.

Fuck right off with that one Julia. The only thing more astounding than your continual lying is the sheer arrogant stupidity in thinking that those lies will be believed.

Julia and her idiot brained followers are trying to defend the actions she just admitted to on her YouTube. It’s precious

I can't find the original post but this is abuse! The dog is probably bored, fat and under socialised. Fancy getting a dog and thinking it's ok to keep it inside all the time!Would you get a Rottie and think it's ok to not let it outside? Dogs need daily exercise no matter how small they are. Shame on you original poster. Get off your ass and walk your dog.

It is true you should keep them inside until the second jab, that's what the vets tell you - in the UK. They said she'd had her second jab now so it's fine now.

If she had been taking Beverly out before the second injections I'm sure there would be an uproar of how irresponsible. This is the one responsible thing she's actually done by not taking her outside. Better safe than sorry.

oh some of them are just cringeworthy, saying “you’re amazing Julia and Eileen we love youuuuu” like oh my god you’re so stupid and so much of a suck up, why are they so obsessed with defending these two?

They are exploiting and monetising a puppy almost instantly, you’re telling me that this wasn’t a profitable decision? Now Julia has confirmed she bought Beverley because she didn’t want to wait for the adoption centres to respond confirms it, there’s no way a rescue dog would be accepted in their home so they went to a shady breeder.

I think all she does is show that she is immature, lacks common sense and is impulsive. She asked Eileen to marry her after 6 months. She got a puppy in lockdown because she couldn't wait. The sheer monotony of life must be killing her right now. She did say before she'd like a dog but they'd wait til they had a bigger place. I guess in her mind she thinks a chihuahua is small so will adapt better. At the end of the day if you could only have dogs if you had a big house and a garden there would be a lot of dogs who would miss out on a great home with great owners. It's ashame that Battersea are so strict about that as dogs are extremely adaptable. When I first got mine I had a flat and he was just fine. Now he's old I have a house with a garden and that's just perfect for him. I do however think that given Julia and Eileen live in such a small flat that they can't fit their own stuff in and that they're messy and disorganized that they are not ideal candidates to own a dog in their situation.

Its not a coincidence that Julia made the “we not me” campaign right now after the Beverly fiasco, she had to improve her image.

Julia asking for pitty declares: ohhh its okay to have different opinion, its okay, its normal... When julia is not using the victim card its not okay to have a different opinion... you are hater.

conclusion:  Julia always manipulated her mother now she manipulates the audience. She is so used to it that is her second nature. Thats why we have seen a long list of manipulations... Which the “age gap gay couple” is the flag ship.

Eileen once again trying to prove her intelligence with big words. It doesn’t seem very grammatically correct when you just put ‘un’ in front of all the ‘big words’. Gotta impress the ladies though. When it comes down to common interests I still can’t fathom how politics is such a big thing for Eileen like she claims, but yet she married someone who cares next to nothing to nothing about it. I guess having a young body around trumps having a partner you can talk to. I used to wish julia would get away from Eileen and start fresh by herself, but now, I believe they’re a match made in predatory dream land. Eileen is the type of creep you’d encounter on a dating sites or chat rooms that goes after young women, ‘hello sexy, I’ve just got out of the shower, want pics? X’. The fact she even said bluntly once she used to send nudes to strangers in chat rooms proves my point. Julia loves that though, even if Eileen was still doing it now she’d probably glaze over it.

she is by no means fat and as it is, because of her past abuse (before we adopted her) she doesn't like other dogs at all and she runs away from them so she has no interest in socializing with other dogs. I'm not saying I'm the best at taking care of my dog but I think calling it abuse is going a bit overboard. she also has absolutely no behavioral issues and is very well educated. when I lived in a house with a garden, most part of the time she preferred laying next to me in whatever room in the house  I was in rather than go outside so it doesn't really feel like we're depriving her of anything. what she did outside was lay under the sun which she now does on my terrace.
