There are slavic youtube channels with mainly non-slavic audiences, most of which are slavaboos. Life of Boris' audience is mainly slavaboo 12 year olds who make jokes of slavic culture and just care about "hehehe communism soviet union tracksuit adidas im so russian" and go around squatting. It's a bit cringy but I guess i'll give it a pass since it's just kids playing, what do you guys think?

I think it's cringey tbh

And I say this as "their typical slav" lol , I love vodka and Adidas but I can tell for sure these kids never drank a sip of Vodka in their life . But they're still young so they're gonna grew out of this "phase"

i didnt even know slavaboo was a thing until very recently, but to me it just sounds like theyre just russia-boos lol (bc western people's knowledge about slavic culture usually extends to russia and like.. ukraine at most lol)

its kinda cringy bc theyre doing the stereotypical "lol cyka blyat vodka putin communism" thing but whatever, its nothing new really

Yeah slavaboos aren't as prevalent as weeaboos/koreaboos or people who blackfish but for me, I do notice some in certain spaces of social media. The type that I come across have one thing in common and it's fashion/art/music. There's the crowd who are suburban teens that write stuff in Cyrillic from google translate and are soundcloud rap nu goths. Then there are the wannabe high fashion hoes who worship Magdalena Frackowiak and glorify ED's.

omg god yes , google translate . Slav languages' grammar can't be fully translated on GT , they all copy paste some sentences that make zero sense

do y'all remember when Venus Angelic did a russian doll make up tranformation? I remember I couldn't read it because she used cyrillic for words in English I swear-

aww, i watched that video a while back. I thought she was really cute -her voice annoyed me though, oops. and the cyrilic script was cringy, i think. But i think the video was ok and in tune with the doll image she was promoting. she really shouldn't have used the script though..

being able to read cyrillic makes this whole thing so weird cause, I know she used it for aesthetic and used the letters that visually look like their alphabet counterparts but...that's not how you would read that lol

Hopefully it read jibberish and not something very rude/kinky/porny, lol. I mean jibberish would be better than something nasty or porny, if you ask me.

It's actually jibberish mostly, because the cyrillic is being used to mimic the ,,casual'' letters in which we type here. It's stupid.

i genuinely dont get why people think being eastern european/try to be eastern european means u have blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin.  i swear most eastern european people have dark hair, dark eyes and olive-ish skin??? some people in my family are russian and they have black hair and dark skin!! a lot of people assume i'm polish or russian bc i have blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes when im actually english and part israeli :P
