Does anyone know what happened to the patreon Livestreams? I know someone on lolcow was posting them when they were uploaded; has she just not done a livestream in forever or has the link changed? Also I'm interested to see if her content will "pick-up" in summer; I'm a little surprised that she hasn't done a "DnD with me" or more "fashion school vlogs" those seem like less effort just to throw some cutsey animal crossing music up and then at the end do a chat/review about her day or current 'fashion project'
I think that the helmet might be a nod to everyone talking about her sensory issues; as a way to block out all the overwhelming sounds and such. At least that's what I first thought when I saw it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's some sort of skillshare or audible sponsor
I feel like her accepting the role is sort of a flag to how her career is going; or not going as the case may be. I think she's going to start having to take small roles; or anything she can in order to stay as relevant as she is; unless Thomas becomes super popular/viral somehow and she jumps on his coattails more than she already is. With her music flopping and nothing serious lined up in her movie/casting I can see her getting more desperate to stay in the public eye; maybe going how halsey does and calling the pap's anytime she goes out to get exposure
She's finished her first year of the degree; which is a foundation year; so she's only been in the 'fashion' program for roughly a semester; assuming Canadian college/school is the same way as where I'm from. I think it's great she's doing things she loves in school; thats an amazing opportunity; but I could see the school trying to make sure everyones base levels are the same; plus it's not a fashion design school; its a fashion design program in an arts college; so i can't see them expecting the students to be doing complicated things; which fits with Jill's overhyping her own skills. sorry went on a bit of a rant lol I love her school content mainly since it's something she enjoys the content feels more 'real' i guess; I find it interesting how she hasn't filmed any con's she been going to ( i think one so far) and i wonder if it's because if her skills haven't improved and people would call her out, in addition to how she can't enter competitions and win easily now. What did everyone think of her Valentines video; tbh i was almost expecting some sort of "galentine's day" with her friends to prove they're all still hanging out; instead it was another q&a with Steve. I feel like Steve isn't into being in her videos at all; but she's trying to drag him into it. I think him being 'business partners' with her is sort of him folding/agreeing to videos without having to be in front of the camera; i feel like Jill has to force everything about her onto those around her because its the only way she knows how to talk/bond with people (tinfoil hat: it's because of her mom's coddling/ her upbringing about everyone focusing on her interests)
tbh I wouldn't be surprised; I could see her thinking it would make the rest of her look smaller; and I'm sure theres fifty billion fashion tips to look smaller she's been reading but like everything else she can't seem to execute it properly
Oh wow that must've been weird to see. Yeah I agree; I really enjoy her recent content. It's nice to see her "growing up" more and shifting to more a school/vlog based content; but that might be because I like that sort of thing in general
EDIT: On her community tab she claims there was some 'odd editing issue" and it will be re-uploded shorty. No clue I'm assuming it wasn't fitting with her "upload schedule" she claims to have or maybe she realized some of the things weren't as sustainable as she thought and privated it to avoid getting called out
I'd go with C; when it comes to A she can play it off as "not a good fit" or having bigger things to focus on like her 'music'; and with B she can always play up the "IM so proud of my Bestie~~ Look how good She's doing I helped her so much in Descendants~~~" thing; with C she has no control and nothing to add besides rehashing the same "abusive/toxic relationship" but the risk of someone asking Ryan about it if she brings it up now is too great
Well at least she's not trying to make it like a half album or something; I wonder if she's going to try to stick to on 'genre' or try out any genre's that she can sink her fingers into? I could see her pulling something like Halsey by saying she's "trying everything out" or "showing how adaptable" she is. I wonder if she'll ever shade/bad-mouth Disney about "not using her to her full potential/fame/letting her shine fully" it seems like something she'd do if she was given the chance. Also late to the party but the Vogue video, everything felt so so staged; i know thats sort of the point, since its meant to show a day in the life; but everything felt so over the top like perfect boss girl/dream-life aesthetic;
Do we have any ideas how many songs are going to be on the album? i can imagine her putting out maybe two more songs, both on the album but the rest being the four she already released and going on about how its "her first dip in the music industry.. support me~~"
It's weird to me that there are stills/bts from the Out of Touch music video, that make it seem like a totally different vibe; it reminded me of that one photoshoot (I think) where she was in the black wig. What could have made them scrap what i presume is a full video; I'd love to hear the reason they went with her standing on a roof for the entire video; maybe she's going to use it for another song? Or if she ever makes an album it'll be like bonus content. I heard the movie she was in, two wolves, was debuted at a film festival; in 2018 so it must have been a flop in the sense they couldn't get anyone to agree to host it in theatre; or they're just waiting and biding there time? I'm not 100% sure how that works Kinda off topic; but I'm really surprised she hasn't done a skin care product line or some sort of tie-in; I can't imagine her fans not eating that up; plus all the like cringe/catchy tag lines like "feather light" or "softer than a down feather" although since her image is moving away from the "soft dreamy girl" thing
