She ended her own career by faking her death, no one cares about her new project. Even though it's pretty... lackluster, she would have gotten way more attention if she had either a) announced that she started a new project on her original (plaaastic) account or b) just posted the pics on her original account.
A lot of people, in their early 20s, who are active in online communities often end up interacting with minors. I don't think anyone here finds this weird, as long as the adult acts responsible and everything is platonic (lmao the fact that i even have to clarify this makes me cringe). As an adult it's your responsibility to treat the minor with respect and not cross any boundaries. However, wanting to be close with someone who is 16 when you are 23 is weird. There is a big difference between being friendly with someone who is 16 and wanting a close relationship. As an adult, you should want to be close with other adults. I don't think anyone in their early 20s would mind being a big sister figure or a mentor to someone in their mid teens, but wanting a friendship is strange. The way Kenna talks about young boys is weird. She has made a lot of really strange statements about them and you can clearly see a pattern, which is why I don't think people in this thread are being nitpicky. If someone else had made the statement, I don't think anyone would have cared that much? Although it's not sexual, the way Kenna talks about children is so strange.. Being asexual and aromantic does not excuse making someone uncomfortable. I feel like she sees herself as a child and relates a lot to young actors and characters? Either way it's weird and I wish she'd stop making such statements as they make me, and many others, incredibly uncomfortable. And the uwu i can't have male friends because they all fall in love with me attitude is awful. Does she genuinely believe that every guy in this world are going to fall in love with her if they become friends? Does she specifically want a "gay best friend"? Following the Kenna thread used to be interesting, but now it's genuinely making me sad. She literally lives in some magical fantasy world where she is an Asian childlike fairy who everyone adores and falls in love with. It's unhealthy as fuck and I don't understand how her family and friends can sit and watch and enable her delusions.
I think he genuinely believes the stuff he produces and posts is amazing? And he seems to think that people are unsubscribing and disliking his content because they don't like him changing (or being his "real" self). While people probably have unsubscribed because he made such a radical change in content (critical analyses of interesting topics --> emo soundcloud rapper), most people are disliking his new stuff because it's awful. He is not a good rapper, nor is he an interesting vlogger. He should have created a second channel for his nasty boi stuff and kept posting commentary videos on his main channel. If he wants to make a career out of his youtube channel, he has to actually think about the choices he makes and realize that he can't do whatever he wants. People came for the commentary videos, if he wants them to stay he has to keep making them. When it comes to people like Shane Dawson, his subscribers like his personality a lot and are more open to changes in the content he produces. Shane is also very talented, so people are more likely to stick around. This has been proven as Shane has posted everything from comedy skits to documentaries). Bobby has a rather bland personality, so I don't think people are going to stay loyal to him just because they like him as a person. And he seems to only have talent for editing videos and making interesting comments?
WHAT IS THIS OMG? Why did he sample the lemon tree meme? Objectively, this is a very, very bad song. The rap is awful; the lyrics are so much worse than your average soundcloud rapper, the beat (and the sampling) sucks and his voice is grating. You don't understand what he's saying (talk about taking mumble rap to another level) and the quality is surprisingly poor. Does he really plan on going anywhere with this? I agree 100% with this. Who does he think he is..? He is just a scrawny middle class boy who had a good upbringing and is going through yet another phase, not some tortured emo rapper who uses drugs as his coping mechanism. Other, more successful and talented, rappers have big fanbases because they are genuine and rap about their actual struggles. Bobby is just copying their aesthetic without realizing that, unlike him, they have very real problems (when it comes to drugs and using them as a coping mechanism for their mental issues, addiction, growing up in poverty etc.).
I think they would be better suited for the koreaboo thread? Most people pretending to be Asian in this thread are white people from countries where the majority of the population are white. So when they get tired of pretending to be another race, they can just remove their "Asian" makeup and go back to being white, while actual Asians in their countries are minorities and might experience racism. At the end of the day SEA people are still Asians.
Omg, his behavior is so snowflakey. He is rich, famous and successful, yet he gets hung up on negative comments about him or his products that are made by random people online. It's like he craves attention, but only the positive kind.
But the thing is that they never seemed to have issues with the features they changed through surgery. A few years ago they were proudly showing off their faces on tumblr and talking about black self love. They never expressed disliking their noses or jaws. It seems like the sole reason for them getting surgery at a (suspicious) Korean clinic was the fact that they were big kpop and kbeauty fans who happened to get a free offer. I think most people in this thread doubt they'd get surgery (in Korea) if they hadn't gone through an extreme koreaboo phase. It seems like their fetishization of Korean idols was the thing that pushed them into getting surgery, which is very troublesome and unhealthy. Both of the twins still look pretty in my opinion, but they used to look really unique and beautiful. Most of the people in this thread agree that their new noses don't suit them, and if they had visited a western surgeon their results would have looked way better. Then there's the fact that they are promoting a clinic that has gotten bad reviews and did a poor job on them. Most people on this forum are pro-plastic surgery, no one is shaming them for wanting to change their appearance and using plastic surgery to do so. People are criticizing them for: - Behaving recklessly - Being a bad influence on their followers - Blindly and uncritically promoting plastic surgery - Blindly and uncritically promoting a shady plastic surgery clinic - Fetishizing Korean celebs to the extent where it makes them get surgery to look like them
They look so pretty with their current hair length, it suits them so well! Sonia reminds me of Betty Boop But it seems like their kboo phases have kind of died down? I absolutely adore Celia in this picture because she looks unique (and beautiful lol).
If you have a lot of serious mental health issues, why would you move to a place like Japan where the mental health stigma is pretty bad? But wow, her fetishization of Japanese men is disgusting, being sex positive =/= giving very personal and intimate details about your sex life to everyone on the internet while objectifying and fetishizing an entire ethnicity.
