I'm so in awe by her lack of marketing skills. I mean, she chose this job - this is not something her parents pressured her into, this is something she herself (apparently) wants to do. Yet, she complains at almost every given moment and completely fails to market herself. It's so ironic, because marketing is a key part of her job. How can someone lack this much self control when it comes to responding rudely to their followers, or rising to petty comments? Her behavior is so weird, and it just seems to keep evolving and getting weirder: She either takes an already existing, very average trait, or she lies and makes one up, and then she hypes it to the moon. It seems like she has started doing it with almost every aspect of herself: Like her being ~smol~, no one cares about your size. Why keep mentioning it all the time? Why be so obsessed with your height? People only care because you act extremely defensive, and create a ridiculous situation where you desperately cling to this label you put on yourself. Then there's her skin color, she has obviously never been pale. Wasn't a part of her old image to look tan/have a healthy glow? But for some reason she claims her paleness is something that has been a heavy burden and when she finally visited Japan, it became easier to carry? Girl... It's so obvious that her skin isn't pale, and never has been. Why keep lying about it, when it obviously is a made up statement that is easy to prove false? There has also been a discussion about the validity of her asexuality. I don't think anyone would question it, if she expressed it in a different way. I know people who are asexual and aromantic, and never have I seen any of them be like "haha I friend zoned the entire world!". Kenna's "activism" when it comes to this, is incredibly self centered. Yes, your romantic/sexual orientation is a part of you, but instead of spreading awareness, she is just using it as a prop to appear more special and aloof. It seems like her behavior does more harm to the asexual community, than good. It's just weird and sad, seeing someone base their identity on things like the ones mentioned above, because they end up having 0 personality. And most of the things she desperately clings to, are "external" (Disney land, sweets, looking "kawaii"), she doesn't pride herself on any of her own qualities. This is interesting because, for most people, being kind or friendly isn't hard.
This reminds me of my friend who actually knows nothing about her heritage. What’s interesting, is that she looks racially ambiguous (people assume she is asian/part asian), but she is always honest about her lack of knowledge. Whenever someone asks where she is from, she just shrugs her shoulders and says that she doesn’t know her biological parents. This is how I wish these people would be; honest about their background. When you make up lies, you just end up making a big mess. Like, that one guy who has the really old drawing his Japanese™ grandma made, but no pictures of her (or his dad)?
This kinda breaks my heart. I feel like a lot of those "tea"/exposed channels forget that the people they make videos about are real people with real lives and feelings. I'm not a big fan of Shane and I feel like most of his jokes are way too edgy, but he does not deserve any of this. Accusations like this are insane to make when the only proof you have is a couple of old quotes taken out of context. The channel is literally stating the he is a pedophile, like what the hell? That's some potential life ruining shit.
I don't think people in this thread blindly support her every decision. Most of us just want her to recover and live a happy (and healthy) life. Seeing that she has relapsed is heartbreaking. I hope she manages to get back on the right track, and that she has a good support system around her.
I'm disgusted and tired of grown ass women acting inappropriately towards some of the young male actors in "Stranger Things" and "IT". So seeing Kenna leave somewhat inappropriate comments makes me uncomfortable, and I'm glad people are calling her out. Yes, Kenna, some of these actors are cute - the same way my 12 year old brother is cute. It just makes me go "aww!". None of them cause my heart to skip a beat or whatever you meant by your comment, because they are literally kids. Please, choose your words more carefully.
Yes! The clinic seems shady and has several negative reviews which you can read about here. One of the reviews literally says the following: "If you are not asian, then DO NOT get your nose surgery done in Korea. And if you are asian, don't go to Cindy Clinic! They don't have enough experience on non-asian noses." This is why I don't mind people talking about their surgery, unless they are outright mean. I think Sonia's nose job could have been done much better by a surgeon who had more experience with western (?) faces. Idk, them blindly promoting the clinic seems kinda.. unethical in my opinion? Like, I genuinely hope they don't convince any of their followers to get a procedure at the same clinic.
I apologize if this sounds dehumanizing, but their nose jobs were a part of a deal. As far as I know, they got free procedures and would promote the clinic in return. I guess you could say that their nose jobs are "products" that they are advertising (and will advertise for the rest of their lives). I think people would talk less about their noses, if they paid for the nose jobs with their own money. I feel like most of the people in this thread are very open minded when it comes to plastic surgery, it's just the process that was very questionable and somewhat shady in this case. Btw; I think they look so good with long, dark hair.
