oh wow, she looks really pretty here! I wish she would do her eye makeup like this more and get rid of her bangs. It seems like her eyebrow makeup got better too! She's not ugly by any means, she just doesnt do herself any favors with her hairstyle and makeup usually, and tries to make herself look too young!
This exactly. I would never make fun of someone making a honest effort to learn another language and improve, but she's clearly putting on this fake cutesy talk and pretending shes bad at english so people... i dont even know, feel bad for her? think shes cute? becasue i dont feel either of those, its just annoying.
Good lord, she really makes the blandest faces when she's 'modeling', huh? also "I just finished my photoshoot, you can probably tell, I look very different!" She literally doesn't look masculine at all? Like I've seen plenty genderbend cosplay videos, and they at least look somewhat convincing. This literally looks like she just did her eyebrows different and wore peach eyeshadow.
I'm guessing she meant her feet are too wide, not 'fat'. I have pretty wide feet, and I have trouble fitting them into a lot of heels because of the way heels are cut, so maybe she's talking about that?
She just did a stream. It was 22 mins, and really boring, just Splenda filming them walking around at dragoncon and them not really interacting with the stream. they talked to a guy with a super cool 3D printed R2D2 though, that was the highlight imo
I'm guessing her parents (her mother especially) would have pushed her to get married asap. It's really sad, but a lot of asian women feel like if they;re not married in their early 20s there must be something wrong with them. She was clearly really insecure about it and rushed the relationship pretty fast (relative to american relationships and marriage age). She probably felt like she was running out of time due to the cultural push for early marriage. It's sad, because she definitely could have found someone better for her if she didn't want to rush into marriage so quickly.
Not to mention that would actually be fun and interesting to watch. I haven't actually watched one of her videos in its entirety in a while, they're just so boring. Learning about Chinese culture, history, and fashion would be cool, and she could do actual research and make videos that mean something. Her channel now is just so... superficial? She's making videos that other people have made before and better than her version of it. It just doesnt seem very fulfilling. She'd probably see an uptick in views and subscriber amount too if she was making unique content, I know I'd watch them.
Yumi isn't very smart y'all. She clearly clings to the Chinese beauty standard of wanting to be a uwu pretty porcelain doll. I think she was talking about asians with darker skin who want to look lighter, which has a whole host of problems she wouldnt want to go into because her channel is too superficial to talk about things like colorism (not that I think she cares, as long as it brings in the views)
Man, as someone her age who's been following her for a long-ass time, I'm so proud of her. She's gotten out of her abusive situation, she's living with the man she loves, and she just seems to have gotten so mature and down-to-earth since she's in a safe situation. It's really nice to see her thriving.
I think she's pretty, she just doesn't do herself any favors with her makeup and hairstyle.
I rarely even take the time to do my eyes and eyebrows before I go to class, I can't image doing a whole-ass prosthetic every morning
I use that shampoo and it works fine for me, it probably just depends on your hair type. It's a good cheap/drugstore option for a broke ass bitch like me, but you'd think with that house she'd buy actually good mid-tier products....
