Hello. It has been a long time coming, but we finally have a PULL FAQ! In this FAQ you may find answers to most commonly asked questions here on the site. Please make sure to read the FAQ before asking a question in the Site Feedback (formerly the "Make Your Voice Heard") subforum as chances are your question has already been answered. If it has not been answered, then feel free to ask your question within the thread or make a new one with your question. The FAQ can be found in 2 locations: The News & Announcements section and the Site Feedback section. We hope this helps current and new users. Thank you.
Does she mean the entertainment industry in South Korea? If so, good luck girl. Do you know how much those idols go through even before they debut and also after? Like yeah, if it's something you've always wanted to do it could be fun..but at the same time it's definitely not rainbows and butterflies. That small cozy apartment? You share with everyone else that's in your group, you probably won't even have your own room depending on how many people are in the group. I could go on about this but I'll just go back to being a lurker lol. P.S. Not trying to say to not follow your dreams, but be realistic...
Well... I googled her name and type in University of Washington and I found a page for the Dean's List....uhm could this be Yumi? (Provided the link also) https://www.washington.edu/students/qtrdean/B/
I feel like Koreaboos are worse than weeaboos. Up until my first year of college back in the Fall of 2014, I had never met anyone else who had liked K-Pop. The people I met at my first college who liked K-Pop were cool, they were more laid back; like me when it came to K-Pop, but after I switched colleges and started going to a different one, I met someone who was a koreaboo. At that point in time I've never met anyone who was a koreaboo, only saw them in the comment sections of Youtube (lol). I'll call her Y in this scenario. Y was one those people who shipped different guys in groups together, so when I first told her my favorite group was B.A.P she immediately was like "OH SO YOU LIKE BANGLO??!!(Zelo & Yongguk ship name), there's fanfictions for that!". I had to tell her that I wasn't into shipping REAL PEOPLE WHO ARE OBVIOUSLY JUST FRIENDS (or shipping real people in general). Plus she's totally delusional when it comes to Korea and k-pop she basically thinks that it's all rainbows and sunshine, which is the opposite of me because I understand that there are dark sides to k-pop and Korea (like other countries), but I also know there's good too. This person just reminded me why I never actually got into the K-Pop community or interacted with anyone in the community.
