We're aware that PULL needs more moderation and attention, so we're actively looking to expand our mod crew! If you're a regular user and intend to stay this way, then rest assured that we're working on improving PULL for you. In order to do this, we rely on user reports, so I'd like to take this opportunity to ask everyone to report posts you think break a rule, disrupt discussion or shouldn't be allowed. There is absolutely no concern over getting too many reports - we get a handful of reports per week. More reports would be great because it helps us figure out how our users want the forum to be - leaving criticism in threads doesn't make it easy for mods to find your opinions. Furthermore, don't worry about being a "snitch" or too harsh - a report doesn't mean action will be taken, that's up to the mods. A report really only tells us to look at the comment and to gauge the community atmosphere. Often times, peer pressure or established community atmosphere will dictate the direction a thread takes, and criticizing certain posts can be uncomfortable or downright futile when the majority disagrees with your view. This leads to groupthink and degradation of thread quality because the loudest/most active users get their way. So reporting is a way to quickly and anonymously (to other users) give feedback to the moderators. If we don't get this feedback, we think everyone's happy and there's no need for change. So use this feature as much as you'd like to help shape PULL into a more constructive community again. If you'd like to be a moderator: Click here for the application form.
Her shooping edits have gotten worse and inconsistent overtime; I'm just assuming that she's gotten lazy. IMHO, quite a number of her fans are likewise resigned that she will forever edit her own face to whatever she fancies. She even forgot to edit the limbal ring of her right eye:
She needs to focus on consistency and natural proportionality in her edits.
I'm not sure where to post this but this video shows her American "English" voice (as of February 2017) in this Lotte Fit's campaign; Link: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cshA4YjkDvc]. It's quite interesting to hear her in a more reserved voice. Also there are other vids of her in Fit's youtube channel as part of their product line campaign.
Revisting an older IG post vs. a youtube video... Here's a screen cap of what she posted on her IG, November 16, 2016 [https://www.instagram.com/p/BM295SuDueo/]:
...and now a screen cap from a Youtube video at the 11 second mark [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkPE01pY974]:
I'm pretty much resigned now that her IG photos will never match her pics/vids IRL. Enjoy the youtube vid link everyone! Here's the link again for those who have missed it: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkPE01pY974]
Now let's compare her instagram post with that of Raviy Nail Salon's instagram posted on October 14, 2016, 17:35 UTC [https://www.instagram.com/p/BLjUqX3jifd/]: and from another instagram post from Raviy made on August 1, 2016, 04:04h UTC [https://www.instagram.com/p/BIjVBK9jVWC/]: ...and now for that traditional side-by-side comparison, Dakota's on the left while Raviy Nail Salon's on the right:
JAYZUS! MY GOD! I've witnessed Dakota going from 16 to 14, then down to a 12 y/o look with her silly photoshops. But this... THIS?!... SHE'S GONE FULL TODDLER MODE! Mark your calendars everyone: September 27, 2016 is when Dakota Rose has finally broken the Toddler Barrier. Here's the link to her IG for reference in case she deletes it: [https://www.instagram.com/p/BK21U2_D7jl/].
ROFLMAO!! OH. MY. GOD. YOU GUYS HIT THE JACKPOT!!! WELL DONE!! This is comedy gold! My chest is hurting from laughing so hard... Thank You Dakota-chan and Happpeh Berfffdeh!! So she claims it's a surprise party, but we'll never know if it's really true. BUT if Dakota looked like her shoop IRL like this pic she provided in this "surprise" party, well... I'd be surprised too! LOL
LOL. Yes there are people who get offended when their post gets down-voted for fear of losing their reputation points (I'll refer to it as 'REP POINTS' or 'R.P.' from here on) -- these points has no real meaning IRL, only within the confines of a semi-anonymous message board. But if one doesn't take the R.P.s seriously, then why have it back on display? For what purpose are we even up-voting and down-voting a post? For what purpose are we even quantifying & tallying the up/down-votes? So then, are we simply up-voting for simply agreeing to a post or down-voting because we don't agree with the post? If the up-votes are for "liking" (while the down-votes are "not liking"), then we might as well move the entire P.U.L.L. to Reddit as a sub-Reddit, where each user can collect their karma internet points, an implicit measurement of their likability as a user on the site. Doing so can also save our Admin and Mods a lot of work from maintaining servers, filtering spams, etc. But in Reddit, the points has no in-site trade-able value and karma points is not a true measure of online post "reputation". If I'm desperate for Reddit Karma Internet points, I can simply just post a NSFW pic of my bare tatas in one of the NSFW Sub-Reddits and within less than an hour I would have garnered hundreds of meaningless karma points, maybe even thousands if I time my post correctly at certain hours of the day. Plus, Reddit is also prone to influence from hired sock puppet accounts and there is even a certain country in Asia that downvotes bad publicity about them on the site using their 50-cent "internet army". So if you even want to promote a video on Reddit, you can even buy a illegal upvotes from some Romanian IT company and they have legions of sock puppets to promote your video to the front page, which is actually quite useful if you want to seed the popularity of your Youtube video & channel. Imagine if one of our snowflakes having access to large sums of money, imagine what happens to the posts. What happens then to the truths that we want to expose? From my own understanding, the R.P. in P.U.L.L. is just a rudimentary gauge for a user's trust-worthiness of their post. It's just that: a rudimentary gauge, not a complete representation. If it is for reputation, then the votes must be reserved only to reflect the quality of the post and that is why I vote the way I do, as I explained before. I may not like what a user has posted and/or even personally like a user, BUT if the content is worth saving, I upvote. The content is what matters. If it is decided then that the R.P. goes away, then we might as well eliminate the post up-votes and down-votes, likewise the "cakes" that reflects "seniority" or their long-term extensive presence & participation in the board. With all these quantifiers gone, we are only left with just user names to identify our post, like a typical message board & "trip names" similar to the old 4ch /cgl/. I wonder if there are other boards that's similar to /cgl/... ;D
P.S. To the Readers: You are always free to down-vote this post, if you don't "like" it ;-)
PULL's reputation system is actually quite useful for determining the veracity of the source of information and even help identify sock-puppet accounts & trolls. Those with a higher reputation appear more "trust-worthy", so the information/content of a member with higher reputation points are viewed with greater regard & seriousness. The source of the problem of "reputation point inflation" comes from how some members perceive the voting system in PULL. Some users would upvote for the sake of agreeing to a post, while others downvote just to disagree; IMHO these shouldn't be so. This is my particular system with regards to voting in the PULL forums: I Upvote a post I find useful/helpful; those with contents/ideas I want to save/pass along to others. I Downvote a post I find useless/nonsense; those with contents/ideas I DON'T want to save/pass along to others. If I agree with a post, I simply respond with agreement. If I don't agree, then I respond likewise but with civility. If we really are a truth-seeking forum, then we should vote for quality content that can be passed along. I don't mind if someone else "steals" the images/content that I created/posted and even reposts them, having contributed is sufficient enough as credit for me. After all, truthful content is what really matters.
LOL! My apologies to everyone, but I just had to do this...
"Hey... you wanna get high?" Fine. I'm a bitch. I'll accept that. Meanwhile, Dakota posted this (screencap) on her Instagram, September 17, 2016 at 10:20 a.m. UTC [https://www.instagram.com/p/BKdBdHjjbCr/]:
...and now for my crummy analysis:
She's getting really careless & lazy with her edits or maybe she rushed posting this pic without doing any cleanups.
I agree. IMHO, Dakota is really pretty without the shoop. But she still to this day, performs her "magic" on her pics... I've been trying to understand all these last 5 years now on what goes on in her mind, why she keeps tweaking her photos unnecessarily into these alienesque-plasticky beings that can never be found IRL or even in nature. Such act alone doesn't suffice for being controversial in itself, but rather posting these modified images & claiming that they are how she looks like IRL is what's really bothersome (all the while, there are other candid/unmodified/IRL images of her that opposes her very own claim). How she perceives herself is truly different from how the public perceives her. Now combine these claims of her with that snowflake attitude, the cascading tangles of lies & that questionable demeanor, what then is left isn't much of a consolation for those that fairly know her or even want to know her. I just want to see the real Dakota just like everyone else, not the "kara" she portrays online. With all these mess surrounding her, who then really is Dakota? I'm not even sure anymore...
And now, from that "pitch-forked farming" site comes another comparison photo featuring that Dakota-standard "semi-quarter-profile view" vs. frontal view (IRL/candid) ~ always give credit to where credit is due [https://lolcow.farm/snow/res/161532.html#172491] :
"...Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again..."
I've just visited Koti's twitter page and I noticed a pattern in some of her tweets: Any tweet link that has a candid picture of her -or- has cross-links to it with candid pictures of her gets deleted. Most models would cross-tweet candid photos / positive tweets on their own twitter page to promote the said event(s), but in Dakota's case it's opposite, like she's trying to hide them from the rest of the public, only allowing tweeted images coming from her own site/source/twitter page. Hmmm.... I wonder why....
Looks like Dakota will be at The 2016 Takaoka Kimono Festa (scheduled for October 1, 2016), according to her Instagram posted on September 7, 2016 11:25 a.m. UTC [https://www.instagram.com/p/BKDY5l8DOG2/]:
Full details can be found at [https://secure.tulip-tv.co.jp/TKF/]
...and now for the usual image comparisons (her lips and eye proportions relative to her face are still bothering me):
