We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
Saving you all a clickbait. This video is nothing interesting. This screenshot was taken deliberately during a bad joke. They're not divorcing, nor did they answer about the kids thing. Good ad placement though.
It probably took its time as well because Tati has to find all the receipts she can in case James tries to Sister Sue her. I believe that Tati wouldn't make any claims that she couldn't back up. I also agree that J* and Co. handled it right, and by no means do I think that being silent wasn't unproblematic at all, but when you have a cohort of 14 year olds with nothing better to do than drag you for coming after their fAvE you have to consider what it does publicly. Not to mention their lack of tangible receipts that Tati must have. #MeToo had people speaking up, but only after someone started the movement because it's safer in numbers. And Sister Sorry, but James had it coming and I'm enjoying every minute. So many people have reacted to his crushing on Straight Boys on camera. We all knew it wasn't isolated, but without other proof it could be shrugged off as "out of context" or "a slip of the tongue."
I'm pretty sure Chris and Lily have broken up (she's moving to Chiba for work and doesn't follow him back on insta anymore) and Sharla seems to be the only jvlogger she's not following / talking to on twitter.
So I guess that Lily (Lost in Japan) and Chris Broad have really broken up. Their last twitter interaction was in February and now she's moving to Chiba from Sendai for work. Lily and Sharla also don't follow each other on social media despite Lily interacting with almost every other jvlogger including Micaela, Jen, Taylor B etc. He follows Lily on insta still but she doesn't follow him back. Guess that adds fuel to the Sharla x Chris scenario.
In other dating news, Chris Okano is dating Sunnydahye - just in case you all missed it on her thread. Weeew.
@mzkvctm it might not be exactly what you're looking for, but Osharegirl works and does a lot of sit down chats while putting on her makeup or getting dinner prepared, and often goes out for drinks with friends. A few of the tourist style videos have been interesting like the Poop Museum recently. She's friends with Kemushi (Loretta) who I also recommend who just got her Masters in Japan and have some really good sit down videos with her partner Boomer and their dog Lily. It's cute. That whole clique seems to be built on solid friendships (TaylorB, Sam in Tokyo). I've just noticed Cory May pop up in my feed and he seems promising. He lives in Chiba but just moved from Vietnam.
I recently have been liking Pablo From Tokyo's work (minus his cringe ass merch) especially the "day in a life of a typical Japanese office worker." Plus his newer travel videos are places I've legitimately never seen a jvlogger do.
A couple of pages back it has him liking comments from viewers about Him x SherryBerry. He loves the attention, he really does. Wow, that Gaba post is written really badly; he/they can't decide whether to write it in first or third person (or it could be a completely botched quote). I've also been on「YOUは何しに日本へ」and it's so staged. I did it at Narita T2 as I was departing. They give you their spiel and you agree, then they feed you the lines or questions in advance, and you practise what they want you to say before "coming up to you." If you want to speak in Japanese they'll make sure it's good but not too good unless you're there for legitimate translation etc (because they love the gullible foreigner narrative).
I could be completely off beat but my gut says she was expected to have children and maybe didn't feel like it was right for her / right with him. Every time she mentioned children it almost felt like she was saying it because that's the next "thing" after marriage.
I've been keeping up with her recently actually! She has a new album dropping in June, and has been spending time promoting other artists music on her channel. She just did a video about being a weaboo as a child, and in this video and a few previously she's mentioned her "sixteen year old cringe idol self" as well as in the making of her video for Pretty Girl Comet, her friend referred to her Yukapon days and she kept it in the video. In a recent Instagram live she talked about how the idol days were part of the reason she has to be super careful with her visa because her ex reported her for illegal activity and she had to spend time with immigration promising she'd stay super straight in Japan. She wants to go back to Japan but it's complicated and she's looking at doing a meetup in Tokyo near the end of the year if she can get everything sorted.
