We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
Plenty of people including myself take it daily and we are perfectly fine. Your genes and the other meds you're on play a role in how your body handles it. Please don't spread misinformation like this to scare people out of taking a medication that has been proven to help BPD (taken with other meds) and schizophrena. Other meds for BIPD: Lamictal is dangerous because people can develop a deadly rash and have to go to the ER, and lithium can ruin your kidneys/liver and make your hair fall out. I've had no problems with seroquel, but lithium gave me chronic nausea and I heard shit that wasn't there on gabapentin. There is risk with every single psychiatric medication out there. Some meds work for people and some don't. It's trial and error. They didn't work for you. They still work for plenty of people that it's still being prescribed and recommended by psychiatrists who know more about drug side effects than any of us do. Don't get me wrong I agree with most of you that it's strange she's on seroquel for sleep, because usually psychiatrists will go through other medications before putting someone on an antipsychotic. I can definitely see her lying about shit to get it on purpose.
Your issue is that you dislike a baby you've never met before that has never affected your life in any way. It's like having a dislike for a baby in a commercial. Lindy could have easily removed that footage of Ayla crying during the video. If you don't like babies in the first place, why are you even watching videos of Youtubers who solely feature their babies in their videos? (That's what Lindy's vlogging channel basically is now, her and her toddler and baby.) And you can't excuse it as your dislike of babies, when I know people who also dislike babies who have enough common sense to recognize that getting upset over babies in any sort of media is over the top. I could maybe understand your point if Ayla was like, 10+, because usually kids have developed personalities by then and she could be rude/intentionally mean to her brother, etc. etc. Extreme example: I'm not a fan of some of DaddyOFive's kids because they bulled the two little ones but ultimately I should be annoyed/upset with the parents because they let the kids behave that way and/or including that footage. You shouldn't dislike a tiny baby for crying for some sort of need/want during a video (that's how babies communicate when they need something), you should dislike or be annoyed that Lindy is letting all of that shit be in the video when she could have decided to not include it.
Right? Lately I have been really liking her videos! I was getting sick of Elijah's vlogs where he would hang out with Tana and crew and do drugs. I will miss them as a duo but Elijah has changed so much (for the worse), I'm glad that when he fucks up again she won't be held accountable for his actions. Has anyone noticed how skinny and... kinda gross he has been looking lately? Like his skin doesn't look good, etc.? I think he's getting too into drugs. The Soundcloud/Youtuber rapper lifestyle isn't for everyone I guess.
I think you're on the mark here but I hope she doesn't-- I liked her old format before she became a complainer, and I miss videos about Korea. I can't stand Meghan's videos anymore. We'll see what happens.
I don’t know how much vets in Japan cost, but it’s probably at least $300-$1500. It depends on if they took him to an emergency vet clinic or not. (I paid $700 for overnight because no other place was opened, then I was able to transfer my cat to another place that was $300 for 24/7 care for a whole weekend.) ((also if your 14 year old cat has kidney failure, just put them down )) I want to mention that sometimes it can be hard to tell other people what’s going on with their animal... If they’re asking people for $$, I understand your point though. OT: People also don’t look into things, I see tons of ppl doing this on social media websites especially Americans. You can open up a carecredit card and be approved for $1500 instantly and do monthly payment plans. There has to be something similar in Japan. While I do see their irresponsibility for asking people to give them $$ for vet bills, I can kinda relate. Cats go down really quickly, they’re fine one day and then the next day they aren’t eating or drinking. It can be a big surprise, especially if the cat isn’t super old. I hope their cat comes home soon, losing an animal is awful. However despite how I can relate, there isn’t an excuse. They’re both adults with jobs- why didn’t they have an emergency fund, or a back up plan to handle expenses? They could budget a new cat in, but not budget for an emergency?
There was a video that included her dad and he was completely wheelchair bound and honestly... looked awful. Does anyone know if he also has what Martina has?
Also, I agree. The dynamic of their relationship has changed, and it’s noticeable. Simon has mentioned that he also suffers from depression. I hope they have a good support group in Japan, they seemed to have a pretty good one with Soozee and Leigh when they all lived in Korea.
His apology on Twitter was bullshit and if you monetize your apology video, to me that’s another billshit apology. Why do foreigners think going into that forest is like a haunted house? It’s an awful place that no one should visit. I am glad to see so many Youtubers are now speaking out against him. While Logan does have vicious young fans, he also has innocent young fans. I have seen so many parents on Twitter comment that their child was very freaked out just by the thumbnail. And that they had to have a sit down talk with their kid who watched the video and were shocked/affected by it. I do want to mention that the video DID somewhat trigger me too. (I don’t use that word lightly.) I cried a lot and felt so uncomfortable I had to take a klonopin. Do not watch the video if you find it posted on Twitter. It’s that bad, it’s really really that bad. He’s been dropped by most big Youtubers, and this isn’t my first or last rodeo. Do not be fooled by his apologies, his Twitter one was simply “me me me me me” and then he monetized his second apology. What a scumbag.
I agree with you on some of their videos, I think the main reason is because Martina’s health is declining at a rather rapid rate. She recently posted an Instagram picture joking about how you know you visit the hospital too much when you’re super excited that the new Starbucks has opened up” or something like that. They seem to be at the hospital every week, and I remember in their flavored water video Martina mentioned her sense of taste is off because of the pain meds she’s on. It’s incredibly hard to have fun when you’re in pain all the time, or when your partner is in pain all the time. I think a lot of their energy that they used to have is gone for that reason. Time will really tell, I like their food videos but I wish we had more J-POP, WTF, and WANK videos.
This is different. I don’t know if you’re in the loop, but a lot of Youtubers are getting their videos demonitized for bs reasons. H3H3 is pretty outspoken about the majority of his get demonitized. This is a new thing that YouTube is starting to do (I think it’s avoiding a bigger issue imo.) to try and help long standing Youtubers have guaranteed earnings every month. I think SM are beta-testing it. I would definitely set something up like this if I was a Youtuber because eg. all of Jennamarbles videos became demonitized due to a big glitch and she didn’t earn any money from her videos for a while. It’s different from their crowdfunding success a few years ago. This is basically a YouTube patteon.
While I think it’s mostly gone with the younger generation, there is still some animosity towards Japan from Chinese people. If she’s going to apply for work in China and she’s a white girl from Canada, it makes sense to do the change asap.
