    • *NEW* PULL FAQ   07/11/20

Hello. It has been a long time coming, but we finally have a PULL FAQ! In this FAQ you may find answers to most commonly asked questions here on the site. Please make sure to read the FAQ before asking a question in the Site Feedback (formerly the "Make Your Voice Heard") subforum as chances are your question has already been answered. If it has not been answered, then feel free to ask your question within the thread or make a new one with your question. The FAQ can be found in 2 locations: The News & Announcements section and the Site Feedback section. We hope this helps current and new users. Thank you.

this comment leaves a bad taste in mouth, im gonna defend ashley here and say that she’s still figuring out her sexuality and going through/went through internalized homophobia. saying that her sexuality is “performative sexuality” and “who even knows if she hooked up with a woman” is shitty and discredits her  sexual orientation. as well as saying that ashley should try experimenting with asexualilty, celibacy etc. why are you okay with the idea of ashley not having sex but have a problem with her experimenting with women??

yeah, i wouldn't be surprised if ashley did but i think the obvious answer is that she just made it for her friend so he can listen to some tunes during quarantine,, there's really no solid evidence that she flew to Philly in April. so i don't think we can come to the conclusion that she made a trip, it just makes us look like we're grasping at straws.

no !! don't feel ashamed because i kinda like it too- it's way more cohesive (the colors and the pieces somewhat work together) than the other two which look like she just threw something together in 5 mins but in the dark. the outfits ashley puts together are always a hit or miss, for example that outfit that's a comment above me- i used to look at her old outfits for inspo but at the end of the day her style isn't anything out of this world or something new and revolutionary- it's basic and trendy.

huh??? can you link some articles on how campaign zero or 8 are controversial because i tried searching some up and i couldn't find any, only some Buzzfeed news article on campaign zero and i don't believe that's a reliable source for info.
edit: okay it quoted me on the wrong comment?? idk how to fix it

she just posted a clip on her story from washington square park so i guess she went out and protested today. she didn't post ANYTHING on her story yesterday and wednesday. she only posts when she feels like it and I'm so tired of it, she has a platform of 1 million followers on insta, 88k on twitter and 3 million on youtube and has ONLY DONE the bare minimum, it's fucking pathetic at this point,, im seeing other YouTubers and influencers doing better than ashley and actually showing that they care about BLM and the community. she'll stay silent for a day and I'm sorry but staying silent and hiding in the shadows when you are a social media influencer with a huge platform is shitty, you have an obligation to spread awareness and information. staying silent in GENERAL is a privilege that me and countless others DON'T have.

so some fan just uploaded a video on guru gossip a few hours ago, she literally only talks about the nitpicking and not any criticisms to make the thread look bad, so we might get some whiteknights coming here at some point when the video gets traction, once they find out about PULL  (forgive me if i didn't do it right I've never added a youtube video to any of my comments)

she talks about how her ex pressured her into having sex in her senior year of highschool, idk the vid kinda reminds me of bestdressed's sex talk vid.(her mannerisms and such) i think she's running out of vid ideas since school is out for her (right?) and everyone is stuck at home. she talked about sex, periods, body image and relationships. I'm kinda bored of all this sit down + chat vids going around youtube tbh

a majority of people that comment on this thread don't even hate her, some of us genuinely want to see ashley (at some point) get therapy and become a better person or whatever but we're just frustrated with her because of shit she pulls and things that she says.

linh troung is pretty chill, katherine karas and Michelle Choi 최혜림 both do calming vlogs. But they're both college students, there's also cheyenne barton who's 25 and she does vlogs and bullet journal vids + other things.

I think the algorithm has something to do with it, she's been making videos since 2015, and only by 2018, that's when her channel started to pick up traction. She used to have down to earth ~ viBes ~ in her 2018/2019 videos which were very different from other YouTubers at that point combined with her awkward personality, "woke" (i guess you could say) rants sprinkled in with sex jokes and innuendos. Also during 2018-2019, everyone was into "relatable" YouTubers like Emma Chamberlin, Haley Pham etc. Ashley seemed genuinely relatable and that attracted a lot of young viewers but her true colors slowly started to show and now in 2020, there's really no appeal to her anymore.
