    • *NEW* PULL FAQ   07/11/20

Hello. It has been a long time coming, but we finally have a PULL FAQ! In this FAQ you may find answers to most commonly asked questions here on the site. Please make sure to read the FAQ before asking a question in the Site Feedback (formerly the "Make Your Voice Heard") subforum as chances are your question has already been answered. If it has not been answered, then feel free to ask your question within the thread or make a new one with your question. The FAQ can be found in 2 locations: The News & Announcements section and the Site Feedback section. We hope this helps current and new users. Thank you.

No worries! About a week ago, Pewdiepie uploaded a video titled "The BROFIST is declared a HATE SYMBOL! (this is bad)" in which he downplays the validity of memes and symbols such as Pepe the frog and the ok symbol as a sign people of the alt-right use (sorry btw I thought the video was more recent). Whatever his intentions were, it peddled typical alt-right/neo-nazi talking points of always playing defense and making the left (which he conflates which the media) look over-sensitive and over-reaching every-time they talk about these symbols to his audience. (Vaush did a video on it, that's how I found out about it).

Felix' recent video truly shows that he doesn't understand what kind of impact he's having. He takes zero responsibility for his large alt-right/neo-nazi following and for having become a symbol for these people. It's easy to downplay and ridicule how effective memes can be in radicalizing people further (edgy jokes and blurry lines of irony are the first step down the alt-right pipeline for many) but it's ridiculous to imply that e.g. pepe the frog did not eventually become a symbol for people of the alt-right and that it's just a cartoon with no further associations. (that doesn't mean you're not allowed to ever use e.g. pepe the frog as an emoji or whatever but things can have different meanings and one of pepe's meanings is clearly a sign of support for the alt-right nowadays)

And it seems like she and her husband are in fact going to adopt another child. Remember when she made a video titled something along the lines of "my last pregnancy"? On the one hand, I think it's great when someone decides to adopt a child but on the other hand Sarah is a fundamentalist Christian, probably anti-vax and home-schooling her children. She asked her oldest daughter what she does when she's scared and her daughter replied with "i love god" or "i pray". Her daughter is 3. I feel really sorry for her children growing up within purity-culture, especially her daughters.

Pewdiepie's 29 (turning 30 this year) not 24/25. Vaush has made pretty good videos about him showing why it doesn't matter whether Felix is a Nazi, Nazi sympathizer or not - he's having the same effect. (Vaush's videos: It Doesn't Matter if Pewdiepie is Alt-Right  and   Pewdiepie's Dishonest Non-Apology is Trash)

Sarah uploaded a new video talking about wanting a fourth child but didn't mention adoption or fostering...
She also has an amazon storefront now where she recommends "Gay Girl Good God" which isn't a surprise since she calls herself a "bible-believing Christian". And she recommends other books like "Missional Motherhood" and "Sheet Music", so the books she chose clearly show her opinions on the LGBTQ community, women's role and sex.

Posting this here because she obviously didn't make it seem like she drew those tarot cards and I really liked the idea of using them as a transition but ... idk, still irked me a bit lol. Definitely a nitpick though. But I genuinely liked her latest video!

Even in this video she apparently stole a quote from Benjamin Franklin and only changed it slightly??? (But it's also a common saying..)

So she's still straight up copying other people's drawings but thinks it's okay because she's giving them credit? Okay. If she can actually draw, she can draw her own ideas. I mean, at least she's giving credit but why not just draw your own drawings instead.

She said in her latest video that she won't publically say whether her children are vaccinated or not so I'm assuming they're not. Why else would she feel the need to say it? She could just not talk about it.

She said she wanted to try to get an entertainment visa to stay longer in Japan, perhaps that's what she's talking about?

"it's clear what your intentions were" She literally wrote "[the mind] can cure every disease imaginable, even cancer" but apparently we're the ones that just didn't get what she actually meant.
