    • *NEW* PULL FAQ   07/11/20

Hello. It has been a long time coming, but we finally have a PULL FAQ! In this FAQ you may find answers to most commonly asked questions here on the site. Please make sure to read the FAQ before asking a question in the Site Feedback (formerly the "Make Your Voice Heard") subforum as chances are your question has already been answered. If it has not been answered, then feel free to ask your question within the thread or make a new one with your question. The FAQ can be found in 2 locations: The News & Announcements section and the Site Feedback section. We hope this helps current and new users. Thank you.

Apparently he spoke out against it and they blame him for it not getting a western release. (Unsure how much he actually had an impact on it.)

An ANN employee recently died. They have a KF thread mocking it.

Yeah kiwifarms is still somewhat active, but far less than before. The way they keep beating the dead horse would be amusing if it weren't so sad

Americans indefinitely have an entry ban. If she has a year visa maybe she can go back, but if not I think she'd have to start from the ground up.

That's really interesting, thank you for your input.
Before all of this, I always had the assumption that alters were still all the "main" person and that differences were from amnesia barriers and different life experiences. Then I see people who talk about different gender, nationality, being left vs right handed etc. Was the prior assumption I have more correct, or is it really a thing to have an alter that's a 15 year old boy from a different country?

I agree but remember, he's a billionaire. They can both afford to ignore the baby and leave a nanny to raise him

She almost definitely is mentally ill, though the question is whether or not it's DID. Not an armchair diagnosis, but there is evidence in the broad sense that DID often overlaps or is confused with Borderline Personality Disorder. Those who claim DID isn't real often argue it really is just BPD. Given how so many with BPD are obsessed with attention and may be more inclined to lie for it while also having "splitting" personalities, it really does make sense.

A way for some who are skeptical of DID but want to give some the benefit of the doubt, there's also the theory that mental health professionals "create" it by convincing patients they have it and therefore making it a sort of placebo disorder where people who don't have it really believe they do.
