This!!! Also, I have my suspicious she's really sleeping on a jacket because she doesn't need to. She could even sleep at a hotel/hostel for a few more nights, she has the money for that and wouldn't even need to ask a friend to crash at their couch for a few nights... It's just another story to make her seem as such a hardworking girl who's editing for three days straight without worrying about such mundane worries as sleep and couldn't bother to buy an air mattress.
this video just summarised how immature ashley is. choosing where to live by flipping a quarter? uh, ok... don't buy at all. i totally get the feeling of not adjusting to a place moving out to pursue something better for yourself, but i'm not quite sure ashley knows what's best for her (she even mentioned something like that with the train metaphor) not saying she'll thrive in NY or adjust easily but i have the feeling NY is better for her than London – just because moving to a different country can be so much harder in many ways and on top of that, she wouldn't have a support system in London at all. on the other hand, she already has some friends in NY (she even went there with david a while ago and baited moving to NY with some tweets).
Sorry, didn’t mean to put words into her mouth. You guys are right, she didn’t say she was scared. What she did tho was keep repeating how she was calmer and in a situation like that I think thats totally understandable behavior. Specially with the weather changing all the time and how it’s unpredictable. About not evacuating, I know some people who live in Tokyo and didn’t as well. It all depends on where you live (she said herself she’s lives in the third floor so no risk of flooding) and how prepared you are. She had food and water, was also in a less risky area. She even prepared herself a evacuation backpack... But well, it’s over and I’m glad she’s safe.
I have the feeling she made the video about a day in her life during the typhoon just to cope with the stress and anxiety from it, like she was talking to a real friend instead of just talking to the camera. It was a bit tiring to see her repeating she wasn't scared while we could clearly see she was scared and couldn't focus on anything but whatever, at least she was safe.
This video on her second channel got me really anxious. She films the same thing a lot of times just to get the lines perfect and every time she says "uhm" looks like she's about to cry in frustration (someone commented that on the video and I thought it was really on point) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LosWgoSy9FI I thought the vidcon video was kinda nice even tho she was really socially awkward and trying to fit in, but now seeing bits of the backstage, with her filming and filming the same thing repeatedly was actually kinda sad.
The new video reminded me so much of Ashley (bestdressed) recent video where she does kinda the same girly night talk oversharing info, talking about breakups and stuff (link in the spoiler section to not clutter the thread). Not stating Mikan copied her, just comparing both videos since they seem to be very similar. One thing that rubs me off the wrong way is when someone reassures they're empathetic like she did in the beginning of the video. It might be true, but doesn't feel genuine for me if you're bragging about it in the internet.
I came here just to share this tea! People were trowing Farrah under the bus saying when 7 rings launched she was flattered with the possibility of Ariana taking an inspiration from her (screenshot below). But I can understand Farrah's tweet, sounds like her problem is that Ariana is suing F21 for copying her when Ariana herself didn't give credit to her/the original designer.
Also, Farrah is not blaming whoever designed Ariana's outfit. She blames Ariana and her team, 'cause they would find someone else to ripe off the outfit anyways.
overall, it wasn't a bad video. I stopped watching her videos with all those sex jokes and bad thrift flips she would never really use, but got curious with the latest video. she still forces a bit to be this quirky and relatable girl, but I feel she has a good heart and was trying to give good advices for people. specially related to nudes or age gaps in relationships, and even highlighting that if you're underage you shouldn't do it yadda yadda – it's common sense, I know, but I appreciate influencers and internet people making those statements, specially if they have a younger audience like ashley, who's wants to be seen as a cool big sister. I hope the breakup helps her to mature emotionally and, please!, that she can make some friends.
It's kinda of a loose translation! If a brazilian would like to correct me, you're more than welcome, I always have a hard time with slangs (in italic you can find my own comments) E: They are leaking our talks in boards and websites.... / pull link / look Curosaqi Itigo: ah man / it's gonna blow up L: vish (that's an interjection, it's hard to translate but could be something like uh oh)... it's gonna blow up Ruben: this isn't her E: it's gonna fuck it up / for real tho, didn't think we would have snitchers Igor Luiz: Fuck, for real... What a shame, huh (here is not exactly what a shame, but more in a sense that someone screwed up??) E: Go to the link and ask the website to take it down / They're leaking the groupchat Monxtrão Martins: Ah man they're leaking our group / Shit - - - - - LOLOL at the guying asking the others to come here and ask to take it down.
god forbid me to wk her, but it's the way the bra is. (it's not the same bra, but that's the company from her lingerie: https://www.letitbeintimate.com/product-page/suti%C3%A3-soho) they have a skin tone tulle and it's just the fabric/stitching – but I'm sure the pic is edited to hell and back.
because that’s her whole universe. she doesn’t think or care for anything else. she likes the idea of writing poetry, but she doesn’t have anything else to say. and tbh she doesn’t even like poetry itself to read and educate herself. if she did, she would get some much inspiration, expanding her knowledge and improving her writing skills / creativity. her whole life revolves around the idea of liking stuff, not even liking it for real.
this girl screams “crazy about boys”. I have the feeling she’s always jumping from one relationship to another. like, she’s not dating this guy for long, right? (serious question tho, I don’t keep up with her that much), it’s just kinda weird to share into your social media about being a stepmom. nothing wrong with marrying the person you love or thinking about marriage, just... seems a bit rushed for my point of view
it’s @bestdressed and yeah, I saw her twitter and I’m sure she deletes the posts that aren’t a hit. she has like 30 tweets and all of them have lots of retweets and likes. also, she’s not super into twitter which is kinda weird for her demographics. but at the same time, it can be overwhelming for some people to have lots of social media profiles, specially if you’re an influencer like her
I can’t take my eyes off those eyebrows, they are so asymmetrical it looks like her face is melting (I know it’s probably because she’s talking/smiling and the frame is not making it justice but still...)
I think Christian improved a lot crafting his cosplays and the look itself is nice, I just don’t like the wig (seems super cheap) and Daynas face lol her smile is a no no for me. Does anyone has pics of April cosplaying Zelda? I reckon I’ve seen it, but I don’t remember details and would be nice to compare
What I just don’t get it is that Kenna’s sister and Grace are following Lunestelle, I thought they would stay by McKennas side in this rivalry ??? I know it’s such a fifth grade drama but I mean, we are talking about snowflakes and their tantrums
As much as I like snark comments towards McKenna, I can't see myself fully supporting Lunestelle – she's just as bad when it comes to being unoriginal and doing for aesthetic. But I'll give the thumbs up on that: the girl is not a trust fund kid who's out there burning money, she seems hardworking. And has a better taste when it comes to fashion choices.
Compared to other j vloggers, I kinda like her videos? Idk, maybe I have a soft spot for Mikan and feel she matured more compared to other snowflakes. even when I'm not really into the topic (like the last one, dressing like kpop idols) I find myself putting the video as white noise when I'm doing something else
