she out here trying to become an influencer because an interview where she apologizes for nothing of substance is supposed to make her squeaky clean? dumb I would be more welcoming if she actually owned up to the lies and poor decisions she made in the past, but instead shes just hiding behind the guise of a quirky dancer. people who can't see the wrong in their actions and don't feel apologetic can never change until they get off their high horse.
of course, different doctors can give varying diagnoses especially since the method I am most aware of is basing diagnoses off of symptoms. there are two books, the DSM and an international one(i forget name), that is the norm for psychological diagnoses(im sure she also used her own experience in her study and research as well). they are basically books full of how certain disorders are supposed to present as(there is some controversy with the latest DSM tho) however, there can be a lot of discrepancies among diagnoses as doctors can perceive symptoms differently despite there being a 'cheat sheet' of disorders. i wonder how many times kenna met the doctor before they came to the diagnosis.
maybe the internship fell through. i know universities have a lot of internship opportunities, but if partnered companies don't want ana and alex as interns based on resumes and such then idk. maybe they couldn't afford the programs fees like the deposit and further payments. summer internship programs can cost up to 6,000 USD(money for the partnered company, living expenses, food, airfare, etc) and it is extremely difficult to afford without a scholarship and these types are typically unpaid. however, if they found it on their own time, then the companies they applied to probably just passed over them and/or couldnt afford to live there for 3 months.
I just can't believe anything she says? especially about her supposed boyfriend's murder and the police telling her to leave for her safety? i wonder if the police records are public in korea like they are in america? idk i just can't believe anything without proof because it just makes her seem like she's lying. lies are always embellished and detailed. I can understand her not wanting to have a social media presence. her new accounts always seem to surface or are exposed. I also understand her blocking people when they criticize her pronunciation especially after being ridiculed on the internet. learning new languages is very difficult and no one wants to look stupid. learning a language is going to be full of ups and downs, mistakes, and low confidence in your abilities. especially in america where the education system does not typically include comprehensive and detailed opportunities to learn another language, most times until highschool. highschool language classes are extremely basic and students arent couraged to pursue it after 2 years. however, it took her so long apologize and own up to her actions. it seems like she still has a delusion about korea. if she is unsafe there, why would she want to move back? i cant imagine korean police would be too concerned about a case concerning a foreigner that isn't even in the country anymore?
