I doubt someone as aware as Pokimane is going to send someone nudes with her face in them. Especially in a time like this one where "revenge porn" is a thing. In general, I'd tell anyone not to send nudes with their face included.

Poki complaining about how difficult streaming is? Lmao, laughable. I will say, streaming is a lot more difficult than just sitting in front of a screen and playing video games - at least now. The market is oversaturated with people who jumped onboard thinking they could kill it and it's very hard to break into unless you offer something of note or are well networked.

That in mind, Poki whining when her peers are visibly more talented, entertaining, and creative is shitty. It baffles me Riot insists on parading her as the female face of their playerbase when I know and see so many other women with better mechanics and personalities not reminiscent of an old ironing board being unfolded. She got lucky in that she started streaming years ago and has accumulated the fanbase over time to do fuck all in front of a camera before calling it a day while other women work their ass off in games they obviously love and don't see as cashgrabs. (plus, don't tell me she wasn't shading LoL or fortnite when she made that tweet about there being no fun games to play anymore. and ya'll still wanna kiss her ass, riot? ok)

how do i like a comment more than once lol

I'm pretty sure Destiny cruises this place given his buddy-buddy status with members of OTV. It baffles me someone who parades himself as an intellectual debater has no other response to criticisms than to water it down as jealousy. That's like, a 2010s facebook argument tactic.

I don't like her more than anyone else here, but she did post a screencap of her donating the money to said charity. I believe someone posted it here if you're willing to comb so far back. I only correct this because it's important to criticize things she has actually done, either because she shouldn't have done it or she could've done it better. Valid critiques lose the grease on their wheels when people bring up misinformation, intentionally spread or otherwise.

That being said, everyone has their own grieving process. But she didn't look nor sound very distraught for someone that made it a point to broadcast her charitable efforts on a deceased friend's behalf. I'd like to think she wouldn't exploit something like that, but I thought a lot of things about her before I wised up to who she was as a person.

I don't understand who at Twitch thinks this is an acceptable practice and if Imane knows about it, I'm not surprised she's letting it continue.

    • Why are you trying to pull viewers from other growing streamers (or just other streamers in general) ? This is a huge discouragement and probably bleeds their audience, too. Things like this dissuade new streamers from joining the platform. Why try at all if Twitch itself is going to advertise a big streamer on your channel and stifle your growth?

I'm actually holding out some hope for YourPrincess here because I've tuned into her stream every now and then to see her usually doing well. But copying Poki's selfies? I almost don't want you to show that to me so I'm not disappointed.

YourPrincess has been pretty forward with her audience about having a boyfriend and how only watching her in the hopes of dating her is unrealistic so I respect her there. Her ADC game isn't terrible and she doesn't PS her selfies to hell and back.

I will say though she once mentioned being friends with Poki on stream and that Poki has been there for her a lot, and she "likes to think" she's been there for Poki, too. Whatever that means.

If she's just going to end up a Poki 2.0 let me know so I get out now. 🤷
I will say she said that was a joke because someone else called her that, so she did that thing where you admit to something to take away the gratification of someone else who called you it first.

You've been WKing her ever since you popped up here, not sure why you would decide to stop now.

Getting carried doesn't make you a winner. It means you got lucky. If I do shitty in a game and the rest of my team wins it for us I'm not strutting out of there calling myself a "winner." Try doing that in a ranked game. Your team will flame you. IMO, no one that gets carried deserves to call themselves a winner. You want that privilege? Pull your fucking weight lmao

You're on a gossip thread. Some of the shit you read here will be petty. I don't know what you expected.

I used to be a hardcore fan of hers and donated from time to time because I was really excited to see a female league player like her popping off until (even before I discovered PULL) I realized what she was doing.

If you want to talk about the mindless hate she's gotten then go back far enough to where someone compared her to a pedophile/rapist. Otherwise stop complaining about quite literally everything you've read so far.

I can understand this. The whole "poke the beast when it's bleeding" mentality has usually worked before, but considering "she" just won another round of Twitch rivals I'm skeptical it will go over well. I respect Zoie's hustle but unfortunately her reputation isn't clean thanks to drama with other youtubers and backstabbing from her own friends.

If she's smart, she won't respond to Zoie's tweet and will let it drown in her WKs responses instead.
won't stop her from calling herself a winner but yeah go off

Shiptur played his heart out and got an unfortunate supp/jg. I'm not trying to flame either of them but Zyra's positioning was awkward (you cannot run at velk and veigar with enemy creepwave body blocking you wont get out in time) and Rengar had a habit of tunneling while Shaco got the jump on him. Ekko was great to play into Lissandra, he didn't deserve that loss. Completely agree with you

i mean i agree with zoie shedding light on the fact but two years is a bit too late. it has the appearance of cloutchasing / smearing to the dumber masses who WK their queen despite her shitty actions

by that logic it could also have far better people as the top female streamer.

the problem isn't that she panders to the twitch audience, it's that she's hypercritical of other girls who do the same thing. she likes to pretend her success is under the pretense of being a wholesome gamer that's actually good at the games she plays.

someone that is going to claim to champion women in the gaming world should be supportive of other chick gamers, not have to lie about her ranks in games, and not need to jump around to cloutchase.

if you can't see why this is a problematic image for female gamers across the board i don't know what else to tell you and if "twitch could have far worse people as the top female streamer" is your best defense in saying people here are too harsh, you have a shaky argument.

to my understanding t1's team only lost that because his supp's performance was subpar.  not to mention she's taking Lissandra (who's p strong right now) against champs like Ahri, Yasuo, etc. i like kaypea but she wasnt going to win that.

it was disappointing to watch but the "get clapped by poki's lissandra" meme is only going to last so long and i can't wait for her to lose honestly.
