i have the opposite dilemma. everyone says that (and i realise it myself) the country can't change from it's current state if all young people move somewhere else in hopes of a better life/higher salary etc, but on the flip side i don't want to waste my whole life trying to fix something that i don't even think it's fixable. i know it's selfish and it sounds horrible. my country has so many flaws and issues, if i have the option to not deal with it i would take it honestly.
sanctuary is so good !! the music video is really cute and so is joji. optimistic, upbeat music honestly suits him a lot better than the mumble rap, really gives him an opportunity to develop his voice and sound, hope he releases more stuff like this.
this so much !! i think that if your relatives arent someone you'd make friends with if you met them on the street, then youre not obligated to tolerate them just because theyre "family" (idk if this makes sense but you get it). bc family members often ignore the "but we're family" rule when theyre being disrespectful and toxic lol
i think this is the most serious and authentic ive ever seen him and im so happy that he finally feels comfortable with himself and ready to share something like that with millions of people. even though its 45 minutes long, the video was very well made, very dan-esque, relatable, he made some very important points all while keeping it lighthearted and funny. throughout the past year or so you can see him slowly glow up and become more and more himself, i lost interest in his content a while ago but im looking forward to see what he decides to do from now on (also love how phil lowkey came out as well in a retweet. or at least hinted at it lol)
he def lacks common sense. he comes across as really ignorant and shallow as well, that's just the impression i have from interviews. filthy frank mighve been a silly project but it's impressive how far it took him, considering how cynical it was. and tbh it kickstarted his music career lmao, he wouldnt have gotten nearly as far as he did if it wasnt for filthy frank. im pretty sure he's said somewhere that he's an agnostic but even then, i highly doubt he suddenly became religious. and if he did and his depression led him to that, i feel so bad for him.
i don't think theyre making fun of asian spa culture, if anything, most of the replies are praising koreans for profitting off people's poor hygiene habits lol. i watched the video though and the spa lady is scrubbing hella dirt off that girl so i get it lmao. but i dont like how the girl who posted this keeps talking about how "white people" dont shower and completely ignores the fact that the spa offers a lot of other things, not just a shower lol its really annoying that its become cool to constantly shit on white people for literally anything, calling them uncultured (which may i add isnt true) and whatnot. its not racism but being called a "white person" 99% of the time has a negative connotation lol.
it's definitely on him bc he has that gun tattoo, but a religious script in another language, catholic one at that is the most out of character thing for joji. he's never striked me as a religious person at all, but maybe he converted lol
am i the only one who finds the contrast between her channel and her ig kinda weird. like,, on ig she looks snatched and put together and in videos its like she climbed out of a sewer ?? dont get me wrong I GET IT, everyone tries to looks good for pictures ofc, but i feel like other youtubers and ppl in general at least ~try~ to look decent most of the time and she doesnt even do that. she straight up doesnt care. and thinks hygene is gross lol
ot but bobby reminds me a lot of someone i knew in high school - constantly boasting about weed (besides smoking literally once in 6 months lol) and partying all the time, the embodiment of a soundcloud sad boi lol. it's as embarassing irl as it comes across online, if not more. bobby's gonna look back on his behavior in 5 years and regret it so much lmao
recently i found out she has a song with yungblud and travis barker - 11 minutes. it has a lot of blink-182 (ofc) and early 2000s punk rock vibes, kinda what she was going for in "nightmare" i guess, but done the right way lol. i think her voice suits this type of sound when its executed well but nightmare just aint it hope that's not how the entire album is gonna be lol
i've been a huge fan of marina for many years but after listening to handmade heaven and love, i didnt even bother listenting to the rest. i get that she cant put out incredible music all the time but this album is really underwhelming and mediocre. i feel like she only released it because fans kept nagging her but who knows
