We've heard you loud and clear - negative reputation is back. Remember that it's still against the rules to complain about being downvoted - if you think someone's mass-downvoting posts or otherwise abusing the reputation system, DM a mod and we will take care of it.
I would say yes, because you can get acne from not removing makeup/bacteria/dirt off your face through proper cleansing and even a buildup of dead skin cells, if I'm not mistaken, from not exfoliating properly can cause acne over time (don't quote me on that last part though lol)
Hong Kong "influencers" are all just rich people who get sent free products and don't actually produce much content like I follow this girl, jessicawong_wt, on ig who only has ~50k followers and her photos tend to get around 1k likes yet she gets so many pr packages from high end brands
Lol did you guys see her bulgari perfume insta story ad? She said it was floraly and then she was like "reminds me of my mom" like sis that's not the way to sell a product!? But she looked kinda cute though so at least that's one thing....
I feel like this is kind of becoming a catch 22, if Michelle did say her parents paid for her during university there's no doubt people would comment and criticize her about being spoiled and how dare she complain about anything bc she didn't have to live the hard life. However, by not disclosing her situation people are criticizing her on how fake she is and all that, I really wonder what would be the right thing to say in situations like this you know? And I'm not trying to defend anyone I'm just genuinely curious how ppl on youtube should go about that? Like would it be better if they were like foreign asian youtubers (like the ones I watch from skorea and china) and not dicuss any part of their private lives at all? Side note, that's kind of why I enjoy watching foreign asian youtubers lol no need to think about all the drama, just a nice aesthetic video😂
This video popped up on my recommended page and this is what I meant by her making it seem like she payed for everything by herself while in Korea, ~8:30 ish?, but now that I rewatched it, I'm thinking the way she sees it is her parents paid for her uni bill, probably even rent, and she used her part time job money for her lifestyle ie clothes, eating out, etc. that's how she justifies paying her own way through uni
I started watching her way back when she started yt and now it's kind of habit for me to play her weekly vlogs while decompressing after a long week, even though they're kind of boring. They're just good enough to have as background noise while I make dinner or clean around my apartment.
Also, not to bust her balls but didn't she say in an older video that her parents never helped her out or gave her money, everything she did in Korea she paid for herself through tutoring? Or am I mistaken? Also props to her for at least coming clean about it now, tbh it took me a long time to realize how much if a blessing it is to have parents who can afford to pay for their children's university education, my parents somehow managed to support me and my 3 siblings through college and it still blows my mind to this day (it also serves as a constant reminder of why I save my money now so that when I start my own family, I too will be able to offer the same support)
Jennie reminds me of that Emily Mei girl. Both seem to just use their parents' money to buy their fame. I wonder if Jennie will take the same route as Emily when bp disbands and she leaves yg, or will she stay signed with yg bc they favor and baby her so much anyways?
I really liked this video seeing rose in a semi casual state and not having to hear her super high pitched idol voice when speaking korean lol
ok for some reason it wouldn't let me post words when I posted this link but anyways I really liked this video bc it shows rose in a semi casual state, even though we don't see her, hearing her normal voice speaking korean instead of that high pitched idol voice was nice👌🏻👌🏻 I want more of this rose!
Well if her parents paid for her degree, she'd have no student debt, some saving up from whatever tutoring jobs she did (also she interned at a bank idk if it was paid or not) and then constant sponsoring from brands, which can really rack up since she seems to do them a lot, along with earning from yt views.
Lowkey I don't listen to any of her recommendations (not just her but many yt ppl like her) bc of how many sponsors she does lol I always feel suspicious about whether she's being genuine or simply earning her paycheck
I mean it's highly unlikely Michelle is as innocent as she portrays in her videos, she just doesn't show her wild side on Youtube. And just to be clear I couldn't care less if Michelle likes to party or have wild friends or whatever, she hasn't done anything wrong in my book so far🤷🏻♀️
