I guess it was supposed to be as a disagreement, but sometimes people downvote as a "dislike" button, or as a punishment, or even for retaliation (cases about one user downvoting all posts from other user). But, as I stated before in another thread, sometimes it turns into a herd effect; imo the minus numbered score seems to "pollute" your post and induce other users to disagree/dislike it before even reading it properly.
My reputation was -76 (now -68) because people would disagree or not understand with my point of view about a snowflake - OR I didn't presented my opinion in the right way. Or probably all three. Believe me, being downvoted sucks to the point I requested my account to be deleted. At the same time getting downvoted feels bad, however, it also makes you reflect about what you did "wrong". Then you realize this is a gossip forum and 99% of what people assume about the snowflakes has zero evidence - including my own assumptions. So, unless you are someone who quotes a user you disagree with just to say "fuck you", you don't feel bad anymore. There is nothing wrong putting your opinion out there. On the other hand, posts that are personally attacking someone who has been downvoted are upvoted. So, I must agree with the downvoting herd effect. Thankfully only the upvoted posts get popular medals Edit: ironically enough, downvoted ♥ Edit 2: positive reputation now
I'm sorry if it sounded like it, but I never stated she is against therapy. What I think is that she doesn't care about therapy, but that's just how I see her. But just admitting "i'm sick", "i'm taking medicine", "i have mood swings", "i need help" to me is all just part of the show. She had zero problems updating her social media when she was in the hospital and everybody was supportive. But now I have questions, you know? What happened? Why is she not as serious as she was back then, concerning the mental state she claims to have and needs help with? What if she needs to be hospitalized for this as well? These and other questions make me wonder whether she is exposing the truth or exposing convenient things for people to feel sorry for her, blame her mother for, feed her with likes and comments and views, etc. We have been in this particular topic before and I hope the truth - or the tea - comes out soon.
Her self-diagnosys won't make her realize how to get better. She claimed she was having treatment, I didn't believe that and soon you guys realized she actually wasn't getting treatment too. Well, then. What is stopping her from getting help? Getting treatment? Medicine? Oh, maybe it's too boring for the likes. She would get THREE TIMES viewers, likes, positive comments (instead of positivity out of pity), relevance, etc if she would show people "ok, guys, you've been worrying so much about me that I stepped up of myself and started a real treatment with a real doctor who confirmed my BPD. Wish me luck!". It won't make trolls go away, but some people who are just there to see her breaking apart would soon lose interest. Then again, I could be wrong.
I don't know why would she lie. Why would Dakota lie about having cancer? She said it and everybody agrees to be a lie because there is no evidence to be seen. About the symptoms: have you ever felt something was weird, googled it and the result was "cancer"? To me, and this is just an assumption, not a third party crime for me to prove, she felt sad and frustrated because life happened, she googled it and found some matches with BPD. That made her convince herself she has BPD and that was enough without going to a doctor. It makes me wonder if she is taking her symptoms seriously, you know? I COULD BE WRONG, THO!!!!! ← very important to enphasize. Her fans are so worried as Venus seems to shit bricks over their heads making more and more cringey IG stories about how mad she is with herself and doesn't seem to seek for any help at all. Instead, she seeks for strangers to have lunch with her. About me being Maggot's daughter, I really can't say "Oh, I would be just like Venus" because I don't know. There are people who are pretty messed up adults who grew up in perfectly healthy families.
She is the boringest teenager ADULT on IG... I hope that .bpd account is a troll. She wouldn't waste her time creating a side IG account to push down people's throat her Dr. Google diagnosys, would she now?
WOW, I thought this would be a thread to get to know artists but there is so much TEA in here *-* If photos would be considered e-art for the sake of the thread, I think I might still have somewhere the screenshots of this guy who literally used third party photos to get money.
I've heard taxis are pretty expensive in Japan because of the way they charge for it. Guess Venus is either doing fine with money or has no control over it at all. But yeah, better being outside doing nice things that make you happy than inside being a virtual talking anime.
Well, with Kenna posting herself skipping school, I hope she doesn't complain on her IG how bad she is in Japanese after a year in Japan. She could be more relevant posting IG stories of her studying and practising. But that's my opinion. "Oh how awesome you don't skip school 5 times a month like I do" - dude, unless you are literally vomiting all over the place or got H1N1, you. Go. To. School. It's that simple. The new camera overlay is a nice feature, but some cheaper cameras have that and since she is familiar to photoshop, it should take about 6 clicks to make that same effect. Also: that photo makes it look like she was behind a glass wall and took a picture of that candle.
I don't think Manaki is driving her around - he wouldn't be THAT stupid and it would be just ridiculous Venus sitting on the back seat to make it look like she is having a casual ride for a job interview. I think she is just going places by taxi and takes selfies there because sometimes the lighting is just right.
Dakota seems to be engaging her adulthood slowly. Baby steps. Her natural look is very refreshing and I personally like that she, living in Japan and working in Japan posts in Japanese on IG and Twitter. My favorite past weird look of hers was when she would shoop her face to the point she looked 10 years old ↓
Unpopular opinion: I HATE HER EYE BAG THEREISAIDIT
What was her previous bio again? I don't think she is confirming her marriage status. To me, she is just stating the truth about her own life so far. About her last photo caption: guess she uses fabric napkins as underwear now *rolls eyes*
Indeed, I had to to just that when talking about Kenna's thighs on a picture posted here because it seemed I was called out because of that comment, so I had to explain like "no, it's because she always looks thin legged but that is a fat thigh", you know. As far as I'm up-to-dated, it's raining nitpickings and assumptions around Kenna and Kanadajin and all is well. But saying Venus did a poor photo edit?? "You are a horrible person!" here, "PROVE IT" there, "You are such a bitch" over there and, of course, the "fuck you" golden rain.
I was a short time lurker and now I'm a new user. I'm not sure if it fits the main point of the thread, but concerning blunt opinions about snowflakes: I don't know how the forum was years ago, but so far my experience is that we can't make assumptions about Venus without proofs. I stated she was lying about the mental condition she claimed to have via IG and basically I was demanded to prove her no-diagnosys, as well as personally attacked (people said "you are this", "you are that", and "fuck you"). I defended myself and then I got reported for harassing... the snowflake. After that I requested my account to be deleted. Downvote at will, but makes no sense one being warned for "harrassing" a snowflake when her picture is caricatured on the top of the forum page with a leash on her... We prove assumptions about third party crimes, as far as I know. Venus playing the mental illness card (like most snowflakes do and nobody gives shit) is not a crime for me to prove. Dakota said she had cancer and it was 100% agreed to be a lie, but nobody has proofs, just assumptions out of photos. Funny thing, the Internet Court.
