My previous comment got down voted (I'm sorry if I offended anyone I, I wasn't trying to) I don't think I got my point across. What I was trying to say say you can never tell someone's sexual orientation unless it comes straight out of their mouths and only if that person is honest with themselves too. But whatever the case whether or not Moma is gay wasn't the issue. It was Joan's awkward flirting and her lack of awareness that the other person is not reciprocating. It may seem awkward to those of us watching but if Moma was uncomfortable with it I doubt he would agree do anything alone with her. Or maybe he's the type of person who is too nice to say NO because he isn't worried about how the other person feels. But nothing is as shocking as finding out he's been a MUA for 10 years

Maybe Moma Hasnt come out of the closet yet and Joan doesn't have a gaydar. I have a Korean friend who is very touchy feely with his guy friends. When I was first introduced to him I thought he was gay. But you can never be too sure and you don't want to assume. He was holding hands with a guy and I asked him "oh your bf?" And he looked at me as if I insulted his whole family! He's like "nooooooo I'm straight. I love women" and I told him I don't judge. Date whoever you want but he was really bothered by the fact that I thought he was gay. From that day on, he would always make it a point that he was with a girl. I would ask him how his day was he would tell me he was tired. He hooked up with a girl the night before....emphasis on girl. He would go on describing the girl or show me pictures and say "hot right?" A part of me still thinks he's gay and doesn't want to admit it. And his friends always tells me he likes girls. But those are the ones he holds hands with too. So who knows??

Is Moma really a makeup artist because he did her dirty. Joan puts makeup on herself slightly better and that's not saying much since she's not great to begin with. I think her throwing herself at Moma freaked him out. Poor guy.
And I didn't even believe the "boy friend" title when I read it. She kept harping about wanting "ME" time that's why she's not vlogging and now "reading" more. Hope she signs up for Korean classes.

Does anyone know why Emily and Victoria aren't friends anymore?

Well her caption is a bit stuck up-ish. It's like those girls saying "don't you dare look at my man. He's mine" and knowing how fans react can you blame them? I'm not surprised.

Seems like every youtube community always got drama. I'm with pewdiepie. I can't stand the sound of slurping or smacking. It drives me nuts. I watched one video of Veronica's and I lost my appetite

I'm sorry but Joan does not look anything like Irene Kim the model or the idol from red velvet. Not even close

do they know what "dark" means? She looks pretty fair toned to me. But I guess to Koreans anything that is not ghostly white is dark. Your skin shade must be 5 shades lighter than your neck apparently

I just started reading about this girl. And such grandiose delusions she shows. If her mom really is Korean wouldn't she be the best person to ask about Korean culture? If a Korean Canadian isn't Korean enough for her and she wants a Korean guy living in Korea well good luck to her. She should know most Asian cultures are pretty conservative. Good luck trying to someone who will date a single mother. (Don't @ me. There's nothing wrong with being a single mother. I'm saying most Asian parents (in Asia) wouldn't want their sons dating someone like that)

I totally get what you are saying but a "real job" requires skill or expertise. Her makeup and fashion knowledge is horrendous. Who is going to hire her? She went to college for broadcasting (correct me if I'm wrong) but her pronunciation (along with grammar) is atrocious. Yes YouTube can bring a lot of opportunities (and if she doesn't know that then she's as dumb as she talks) but the problem is no one is offering them to her. Honestly what would they hire her for? MUA? Stylist? Hey let's just do a collab and slap your name it. (The three years she's been a YTber she got one collab) sure she gets asked to be on a panels but I'm pretty sure it's only because she "speaks" English and understand Korean. If she didn't she wouldn't be invited (same with Eddie. Why they both are invited I still can not comprehend) There are so many korean beauty YTbers out there who's makeup skills are on point. They know what they are talking about too in regards to ingredients in the products. Dos and donts. But they can't speak English (I'd rather listen to their broken English than Joan)
She has nothing to fall back on if she quit YouTube (which is really sad) so she is stuck. I'm sorry but look at her current group of friends in Korea (Christine and Ashley grace) are they going to help her in her YouTube career? I think Joan thinks that being friends with unpopular idols (I'm sorry but it's true. Legit idols are busy working and have no time to be at cafes hanging out) is going to increase her subscriber count like her BFF Eddie (who has a little over a million subscribers how he got that many is beyond me) she thinks by doing nothing like Eddie (his content isn't amazing either) she's going to achieve that.

so I'm guessing she does have any relatives following her IG?  Because if I saw my relative lying about being half Korean when they aren't I'd call them out.
